This isn't thick, European-style hot chocolate, but it's a thousand times better than your run-of-the-mill coffee shop hot chocolate. It's just the right amount of sweetness, and please, please, please do yourself a favor and go with the "regular milk." Hot chocolate isn't something to skimp on with almond or oat milk period unless you have dietary restrictions. I've always been meaning to try the mocha, but the hot chocolate screams to every time I walk in here. One day... There is a $10 credit card minimum. Side note: The animal sculptures are so life like. Side note 2: Very strange to name a chocolate shop "Not Just Chocolate" -- is it irony or am I missing out on a secret menu?

So I can really only judge this place on its hot chocolate and it's pretty solid (not literally…read morebut)! Walk in and it's a tiny lil shop filled with cute confections. Dog shaped, bolt shaped, NYC placard shaped! Ordered a regular hot chocolate (after snapping some pics of course) and was pleasantly surprised. I expected an excellent hot chocolate and this place did not disappoint. No powder here, real chocolate used to give the drink some body and richness. Super satisfying for a bone chilling Sunday. Overall, would come back for the hot chocolate and maybe a petite chocolate dog? Stay tuned...

Not only do they sell chocolate bars, they also sell homemade truffles and hazelnut butter. All delicious and made with clean ingredients. I love how cacao is used as opposed to cocoa as it is more nutritious. Coconut sugar is used as instead of white sugar- so no refined sugar here! In my opinion, this makes these products more appealing to people with all types of dietary restrictions. With a wide variety of flavors, even the pickiest eater is sure to find at least 3 they are obsessed with.

I saw tours, gluten free bakery items, and tasting room info advertised online, but turns out this was probably outdated info. So when we walked into the warehouse/tasting room we learned those weren't available after we saw some employees doing admin work and inquired. Would have appreciated more clarity about this online since we drove a ways to visit (I had previously tried to call the shop but couldn't get ahold of anyone; our gamble). However they sent someone out to help us at their merch bar and we were able to sample some delicious sea salt dark chocolate before purchasing a variety of bars. Extremely impressed with the coconut chunky, and I'm not even a huge coconut person. Would definitely go back again for that. The sweet pistachio spread was also incredible. Five star products. Really liked the decor and it was cool to see the actual operation happening in the background of the tasting room space. *Shoutout to Jeremy for gifting us a few bars with our purchase! You made my mom's day and she didn't stop talking about Fine + Raw's chocolate all day, even after we went to another chocolate factory.

It's more than an amazing store with an incredible selection of candy, It's charming, friendly and has a magical quality. Eugene is so friendly, ready to help with a smile and made me feel welcome. It was so hard to choose, I wanted everything. Eugene's has his very own candy creations (now my mouth is watering). "Freaks" are Eugene's version of Nerd's but so much better! He makes them in several flavors, and they are amazing! Who knew I would like chocolate covered cornflakes? I am a chocolate lover but I would never have thought of this combo. They are melt in your mouth while, being crispy at the same time. There is a large selection of gummies in so many varieties and flavors. I felt like I went back in time with many childhood candies that I haven't seen in years. I didn't know that candy waxed lips, fangs and mustaches still existed. I totally had to buy my dad Mary Jane's, such a classic candy. I most definitely will be back. Thank you Eugene!

They're bigger and crunchier than the original Nerds, honestly better in every way. After my first trip, I was back within the week for more. For chocolate lovers, there are a plethora of chocolate covered candies and cereals. My go to are the matcha white chocolate covered Frosted Flakes.

But this review is about something bigger than dessert. The strawberry cheesecake here reminds me of my mom. It was her favorite, and it was one of the last desserts I got to share with her. Anytime she wanted a sweet treat, that's what she asked for. Ordering it now keeps me connected to her. This past July, on her 3rd birthday in heaven, I placed an order to celebrate her. The menu only had cherry cheesecake that day, so I wrote a note explaining what the strawberry meant to me. The staff didn't just make it happen, they sent an extra slice of strawberry cheesecake on top of it. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. The people here have always been this kind. We love everyone who works there, and we're grateful for the small moments of care they've shown our family. Thank you for everything.

It felt like we weren't welcome. We went ahead and looked around. When we started picking out chocolate to buy (everyone in our group purchased something), she started being more cordial. I don't know what's up with that. We were dressed appropriately (we had broadway tickets later that day and this was a stop we made while waiting). I got the custom box with nine pieces. The lady behind that counter was very nice at least. I love that they have this option because I prefer to pick my own flavors. The chocolate quality was good and the flavors were on point. The dulce de leche, passion fruit, and rum flavor were my favorite. You also get a cute booklet as reference to the flavors as each one is decorated differently. It's pricey, but worth it. No notes on the merchandise, just wasn't a fan of the customer service. Would have given 5 stars basing off the chocolate but the snobby behavior took away from the experience.
