Montblanc

This place is getting some press after opening recnelty and I'm so glad to try it since I work nearby. They're getting attention for their toasties aka Australian sandwiches and I have to say after trying the pastrami one and the ham and cheese one, I was quite pleased with both though I wish the ham had more meat because the sandwiches will run you about 20 bucks each (the ham is a bit cheaper). The sandwiches are also very rich and on the heavier side, so get ready for that! The flavors in the pastrami one are really well balanced and the textures mingle well with each other with the gentle crunch of the veggie and pickle sprinkled throughout. The Montblanc is also getting a lot of attention which is like a cold brew with cold foam and orange zest which wasn't too sweet at all and tastes better when mixed a little. I will say though that for whatever reason I was registering a bit of an artificial sweetener flavor in the cream that I wasn't the hugest fan of, but as someone who likes less sweet things I overall enjoyed this drink.

Tuna melt was super good, but was too expensive. But it was literally a perfect panini. Seating area is super small inside but luckily the West side Hughes is nearby with nice benches by the water. Waited around 20 minutes total on Sunday afternoon which wasn't too bad.

I just stopped in here earlier this afternoon for lunch I had the tuna melt which was awesome!!! So freakin good!!. Super friendly staff just sucks I couldn't stay to finish it I had to take the rest to go!!. I've heard so many great things about this place I had to check it out for myself and it certainly lives up to the hype!!!.

Went on a weekend with a group of friends and the store was packed with a long line and long wait! Luckily we were able to snag some seats (a little crammed). The mont blanc cold brew was great, the hint of citrus was interesting. Personally found the toasties to be a little too salty though. I don't think I would wait in line again, but it's good to try once!

o m g what a perfect tuna melt. yes it's a little pricy at $21 BUT so worth it. super crispy, delightfully cheesy, tasty capers, and the tuna is legit the best in the city. took about 8 min for my toastie to be ready (i came on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't busy). four tables inside and i imagine it can get cramped so be prepared to find alt seating nearby on weekends!

Overpriced, line too long, average food quality and taste. Your average bodega make the same quality and taste. Not sure why i paid so much?

We only wanted coffee & tea yet after reading about their cookies, we bought 2! First, my English Breakfast tea was outstanding. The brand, serendipiTea. So good I didn't need to add sugar. They gave me the option of adding maple syrup. I added some Oat milk, it was delicious. Then after my 5th sip of tea I had the most delicious peanut butter gluten free cookie. So good! My hubby loved his coffee and chocolate chip cookies, he was speechless. Love this place.

The space is cozy with some seating, and apparently they have award-winning cookies... which I unfortunately cannot personally confirm because I had already eaten enough breakfast to feed a small village. I stuck with a vanilla latte. The coffee was good, the service was nice, and the space was welcoming. But the CHANDeliers?! Absolutely gorgeous and definitely one of the first things I noticed. I'd love to come back when I'm actually hungry enough to investigate these allegedly award-winning cookies because clearly I have unfinished business here. Cute spot, good coffee, gorgeous chandeliers--and apparently cookies that have trophies. I need answers.
