The sausage was good, but the bacon was huge, crispy, and had the best balance between crisp, with the chewy porky meat. What really surprised me was the hot beef. The beef was thick slices that were tender and huge portioned, and I loved how the bread was left under to soak up the juices from the beef....and to mop up the gravy. The veg which I expected to be just blanched and bland.....had a decent crunch, and really benfited from mixing from some HP sauce. Next time......pancakes with swirls.

The $9.99 offerings of All Day Junior (2x eggs, bacon, fries, toast) and Pancake, Fruit Bacon were also OK though it's not much that you get these days for the price. Where I really had issues were their home fries. I get that they're trying to be healthy without deep frying but the potato chunks were soft & oily not resembling fries. Moreover, I stopped eating mine once I noticed a root sprouting from one chunk. Our waitress said they'd normally cut off sprouts which didn't make me feel much better as you might know! We'll be thinking twice before returning for another brunch. The location is decently sized although strangely a second coffee machine is placed behind a dining table.
