St. Louis Bar & Grill - This was a very good burger platter, on special that evening, that was apparently cooked medium well as requested.

This location had A LOT going on…read more Many drunk single dudes sitting with pitchers alone trying to talk to you while you eat. The servers were friendly and I understand they have to entertain it to earn their living but I should not have to be harassed in the process. Our server forgot items and did not punch them in the POS so we never got it. Luckily it was not on the bill. The special for the AYCE boneless wings is not worth it. They are heavily bread and fatty with uneven coats of batter. Not much meat on them. I still always enjoy the beer prices. I came to this location since it was there but I'll keep going to my main location outside Canada wonderland moving forward. Much cleaner location there.. and the workers have never forgotten my order.

(Eating experiences before or after crossing the international border between the State of New York…read moreand Canada - 2 of 2) I needed to eat and this place - St. Louis Bar and Grill - was in close proximity and among the few open late. I saw what they have to offer front and center and it's neither the product nor the ambiance I seek: ribs, wings, a loud sports bar with big TVs everywhere, and alcohol, thus perfect for backslappers. I figured they would have something I might like to eat. Before walking over to St. Louis Bar and Grill, I had spotted fish and chips on-line. I went in, the look was true to form to what I was expecting, and was greeted and seated right away. The big TVs do dominate the locale and deal with the local religion - hockey. The resto-bar was clean. A menu was brought over quickly. The server immediately made me aware of the nightly specials. It changed what I would order. I appreciated that. I settled on a burger platter, to which I added cheese. With it, I had a root beer. (The special that night was the burger platter and one could have it with their lower cost domestic beers, or something without alcohol.) Rounding out the platter was a nice serving of fries ... the kind with the ridges ... and they were good. The platter took a while to come to the table. However, given how good it was, this didn't matter. They got it right. The final tab was to my liking. I added a tip to reflect how welcoming and good natured the service was. Note that, even though later hours are kept, the kitchen closes a little earlier. Not knowing the landscape, it then became apparent that St. Louis Bar and Grill is a chain, albeit a sports bar that would, in my opinion, channel wings and ribs from places in the U.S. Lastly, it's less than 2 large blocks from the terminus station of TTC Line 1 up at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

We had to wait for an hour and a half to get our order. I recommend you order online to pick up. But sometimes even when you order online, it's not ready in time. The food itself we got Cheese fries, and boneless wings: Honey garlic, Lemon pepper, Louisiana rub. Wings were good but not my personal 10/10 favourite. Overhyped in my opinion. But the dip and the carrots were fire

First time here base on daughter's request from seeing on social media…read more Tried this location as it is not a restaurant style but located in Longos grocery store. Different system but works as their is also a few tables to eat at if not take out back to be eaten. Order - 30 crew pack which 30 pieces of chicken with up to 3 flavours, upgraded regular fries to voodoo fries, veggie (sticks which were carrot and celery) and 3 dips which we selected ranch. Plus 3 bottles of drinks. Total to be about $85 Service - self serve with multiple screens available to place order request, flavours, sides and drinks to be selected. Then paid via credit card or debit with machine available. Given a number on the receipt to bring out and contacted once done for pick up. Text msg sent to phone as number is required upon orders placed that order is processed and text received once order is ready. Can do grocery shopping and pick up after which is convenient. Ambience - clean and organized from Clare's to place order to pick up counter. However the few tables available to eat at on site is not managed or cleaned but self cleaned by patrons. Food - had voodoo fries which was good and had some spice kick to it. Had the boneless chicken with the following flavours: hickory smoked BBQ which was my least favourite. Just drowned in BBQ sauce that was too sweet. Lemon pepper which was good but it was not lemon pepper dry but lemon sauce or juice poured over the pepper chicken that had it soggy if not eaten quickly. Honey garlic which was everyone in the families favourite. Ranch dip was watery for the veggie dip It was average and premium for paid for but it is about convenience too complete grocery shop if needed.

Burger Heaven Finally Found in Vaughan!…read more Listen up, fellow burger warriors! As a die-hard burger enthusiast who's been on a tragic quest across the GTA for places that still respect the sacred art of proper bacon, I thought I was doomed to a life of sad, floppy, microwave-tasting beef jerky disguised as Bacon. Then I walked into Jabs in Vaughan....... These legends didn't just put bacon on my burger -- they honored it. Thick-cut, crispy-yet-chewy, smoky perfection that actually tastes like it came from a real pig who lived a good life. No sad little anemic ribbons here. They even offer a bacon jam that sent me to heaven, this is the kind of offerings that makes you want to stand up and slow clap in the middle of the restaurant. The burger itself? Absolute fireworks. Juicy, perfectly seasoned patty with that beautiful char, melty cheese that stretches like it's showing off, and toppings that actually complement instead of just taking up space. Every bite was a chaotic explosion of flavor that had me doing the involuntary happy food dance in my seat. Service was fast and friendly, the vibe is classic no-nonsense burger joint (exactly how it should be), and the portions are generous enough to satisfy even the greediest of burger gremlins like myself. If you're tired of disappointing burgers and fake bacon crimes against humanity, do yourself a favor and get to Jabs immediately. I'm already planning my next visit... and probably the one after that. 10/10 -- Will be back until they ban me!!!

The service is super quick, and they keep things classic--nothing too out there, just a great bun, perfectly cooked thin patties, cheese, and a tasty sauce. Personally, I love ordering it plain so I can enjoy the pure flavor of the meat with that delicious melted cheese on a soft, toasted bun. Don't forget to check out their house specials! They've got some amazing exclusive burgers like the Mac Jab and tasty chicken bites, with my personal favorite being the honey Dijon sauce. When I go for the regular menu, I can't resist the double burger--after all, double cheese is a must! And I love swapping out the regular onions for that sweet onion jam; it really takes the burger to a whole new level of flavor!
