Looks like Thai Hang 2 died and is now replaced by this Vietnamese restuaurant. TH2 was southern style. T&TK is northern style. Parking is available on the side streets. The layout is mostly unchanged from before. This means that there are 3 or so steps between the entrance area and the dining area. This place is not wheelchair friendly. There is now a large food stand in the middle of the main seating area. The restaurant advertises itself as selling street food, so I'm guessing this is part of the marketing. Staff are friendly and helpful. No complaints. I had their lemongrass chicken and pork rice combo. Comes with a spring roll and bowl of soup. Everything tasted great. Decent sized portion. I was happy. The place also sells some specialty items such as sticky rice. They also have quite a drink selection (coffee and smoothies). Pricing is fairly reasonable. I was happy with the portion size. Looks like I'll be coming back to try more dishes. Recommended.

Dropped by this place for some Vietnamese food in Vancouver and it was okay. The service was fine but the ambiance felt stuffy. They also don't close at 7 pm. They open pretty late but we left there past 9 pm and it was still open. The food is okay. The pho was not flavorful and the noodles were not fresh pho noodles like how you usually get at a pho place. The beef stew was pretty good but the noodles were not good. It felt like they just put whatever noodle was leftover.

Very authentic northern Vietnamese cuisine. Owners Thuy and Tuan were very welcoming and described all the different dishes in detail. There's plenty of parking in the back. Definitely would be back to try more delicious and unique food.

I'm glad that we visited TTK this evening. Everything comes out right from this northern Vietnamese cuisine. Food is delicious and hot, attentive service, reasonable prices, open till late everyday (10:30 pm), own private parking, M & F separate wash rooms available, TTK fulfills all my requirements. I would return again to try out more items on the menu.

We visited when they first opened and served a menu of traditiknal Vietnamese street food. Then, we ordered the mini baguettes and steamed buns - both items are unique to the Vancouver food scene and very delicious. We noticed recently that they had extended their operating hours and had expanded their menu to include pho, bun, rice items and dessert! On our most recent visit, we tried a few of those new items. The beef pho was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and beefy and the noodles were flavourful and still toothsome. The lemongrass chicken bun (dried vermicelli noodles) was a bowl of comfort. Thoroughly marinated chicken was still juicy and tender and not charred and dried. They had two dessert puddings on the menu, one with jelly and the other with fruit. Served with a flan that is probably one of the best in the city. Servwd in chilled bowls, a detail not unnoticed. The service is wonderful as the staff is very accommodating. We were served by the owner (Tuan) who shared his vision for the restaurant. They plan to continue to expand their menu and will add more unique dishes from his repertoire. The restaurant could use a bit more lighting from the outside as the large banner on the façade, though visible, could be lit for the evening service. If you find youself in the area and among the plethora of Vietnamese dining options available, do give Tuan & Thuy a try and you won't be disappointed.

Food was great but quite expensive i would say. For the price, i would expect a bigger portion. Sure it is stree food and it is different but definitely should make it a bigger portion for the price. The che was good thought. I would really recommend here if you want something different and for the che. Anyway cheers!

The space is much nicer, with high ceilings and lots of light - great looking bistro. I ended up trying the following: - Mussels: Very good. Classic dish, but I really like the use of cream in the broth. - Bánh Mì Cay Hải Phòng (Spicy Baguette Sticks): Good. A nice little snack, although it would be easy to recreate at home. - Lamb Chops: Very good. Cooked just right, and the pepper sauce added extra flavour. - Fried Frog Legs: Very good. This was probably the surprise dish for me. They weren't just the legs, but the entire bottom of the frog, so the pieces were huge. The garlic, butter and chili flakes gave it a extra punch. I really enjoyed this one. - Pho Bo: Good. Not the best pho I've had, but it's good enough to stand on it's own. Service was quite good. Very cheerful and quite attentive. Overall a nice meal. It's a great space, the food is solid, and service to match. What I really like is having the variety of both French and Vietnamese dishes, without either of them suffering in quality. Only downside is that is it expensive for what you get.

The menu isnt big but they do have a reasonable selection of items but mostly dinner entrees We ordered a mini version of pho bo (beef broth pho), french escargot and the spicy baguette stick. The bone broth was good and the price for the mini version is good for a light lunch. We both enjoyed the spicy baguette stick with the pork pate. A pleasant surprise. However i find the escargot a bit pricey with the quantity and the way it was prepared. Slightly too oily to my personal prefence The iced vietnamese coffee we ordered tasted similar to a regular iced coffee, missing the sweet condensed milk flavor for a vietnamese coffee

They have a…read moresizeable vegetarian section of the menu, including a vegetarian (vegan) noodle soup with veggies and tofu. My wife and I stopped in for dinner one evening and each ordered the aforementioned noodle soup--she got a small ($11.75 plus tax) and I got a regular ($12.75 plus tax). We also got an order of salad rolls ($7.50 plus tax), which comes with 2 rolls. The rolls came quite late. They were pretty standard, coming with fried tofu, vermicelli, and lettuce. The peanut dipping sauce was on the liquidy, salty soy sauce side of things -- I wish it were creamier and less salty. 3/5 The soups were decent. The broth was peppery, with some nice, gentle spices detectable in there. I asked for a side of chili oil, which helped amplify the broth. You get a generous portion of noodles, fried tofu, and vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, carrot). Unfortunately the veggies were quite overcooked -- the broccoli was almost soggy, so were the carrots and bok choy. 3/5 All in all, middle-of-the-road veggie pho. The broth is pleasant. The veggies were overcooked, but plentiful and nicely chosen. Decent place for veggie pho.
