Very civilized, clean restaurant with slow jazz music. The service is friendly and food came out hot and very flavourful. The portion sizes are very generous and pricing is good. The deep fried spring rolls are better than the salad rolls. Lemongrass chicken is very tasty. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Nice little place with excellent food. I arrived at opening time and they were already open and filling up. Was packed in the next few minutes. They have 5 four tops, 5 two tops and a large corner for 8 and a couple extra if you squeeze. All nicely laid out. My bowl of pho was huge and very flavorful. I like a lot of fish sauce and the one they had was a good bit too sweet for me. Fortunately I didn't miss it too much. Highly recommended.

Came here for dinner with the family. We started with a sampler platter, which was a mix of spring rolls , shrimp, salad, roll, and meat with vermicelli. It was well cooked and tasted great, especially with the dipping sauces. Everyone at the table had pho. My boyfriend had number 12 medium rare beef noodle soup. He enjoyed it. I tried it and it was delicious. Someone else had beef tenderloin noodle soup, which they enjoyed thoroughly. I had number 17 the seafood noodle soup, which was also good and the first time I've ever had seafood in my pho. Probably not gonna get it again, but it was good to try. We ended the meal with Vietnamese coffee which is always delicious. This place definitely has authentic Vietnamese food and it is delicious. Highly recommend!

FOOD - Bun Nem Nuong Cha Gio: vermicelli noodles with grilled minced pork and egg rolls (spring rolls). I call it egg rolls but some people call it spring rolls. It's the fried ones. Haha. The nem nuong was tender and flavorful. The egg rolls were good but their nuoc mam was a little on the bland side. 4.5/5 SERVICE: Fast and friendly. We needed change for parking but we didn't have cash or coins. We asked if we can pay extra on our bill and get some change for parking but the staff just gave us the money for it. We truly appreciated it. 5/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back. The food was good and the portion was generous.

We were recommended this chain by a friend who is local to the area. However, I think the experience may vary by location. When I tried the soup, my first reaction was that it was a bit too salty (but not too salty to where it was unbearable) As someone who is particular about pho, the only downside was the saltiness, but the flavors were still great, and I would come here again. Would recommend to try this place out after biking Stanley Park!

This is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Despite the name, it's not just about pho. There's an extensive menu that includes a wide range of appetizers and mains, including Bun (vermicelli bowls) and Banh Mi sandwiches. The sampler platter appetizer makes a great lunch for two at a reasonable price. The interior is very pleasant; they've done a nice job decorating the relatively small space.

Ordered -Spring rolls: Forgot to take a picture. -Tuan's Special Beef Noodle Soup (17.95$): Wasn't expecting the pepper-flavour, but was tasty and definitely not bland. -Charbroiled Beef Short Ribs on Rice (21.95$): Once again, great flavour. Overall: I think the portions and prices were reasonable for the location. Everything was flavourful (although maybe it's just me but I sort of fell like I got a bit of an aftertaste).

Very good food. Generous portions. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. The only thing I'd probably say we didn't like was just how close the tables are to each other. I could barely get to my seat without bumping into the next table. Not only was I uncomfortable but had to apologize to the folks who sat next to our table. I had their rare beef pho, which was tasty. Portion was huge, I wasn't sure if that was regular or not. My other half enjoyed his combination plate, which came with spring rolls, pork, fresh prawn rolls, rice, salad and a side of broth.

This place was recommended to me by another foodie. They have a special dished called Pho Tuan, which is a northern Vietnamese thing where they put seasoned meat in the pho. It also has more of a garlicky taste. My friend had the bun Bo hue and she liked it. When we went, they were super busy but we had a short wait. Limited seating inside because the space is small. This is more of an in and out place. Our food arrived pretty quickly after ordering.

Excellent service and a good Pho base for their soup. Their spring rolls also appear to be house made instead of off the shelf.

The space is much nicer, with high ceilings and lots of light - great looking bistro. I ended up trying the following: - Mussels: Very good. Classic dish, but I really like the use of cream in the broth. - Bánh Mì Cay Hải Phòng (Spicy Baguette Sticks): Good. A nice little snack, although it would be easy to recreate at home. - Lamb Chops: Very good. Cooked just right, and the pepper sauce added extra flavour. - Fried Frog Legs: Very good. This was probably the surprise dish for me. They weren't just the legs, but the entire bottom of the frog, so the pieces were huge. The garlic, butter and chili flakes gave it a extra punch. I really enjoyed this one. - Pho Bo: Good. Not the best pho I've had, but it's good enough to stand on it's own. Service was quite good. Very cheerful and quite attentive. Overall a nice meal. It's a great space, the food is solid, and service to match. What I really like is having the variety of both French and Vietnamese dishes, without either of them suffering in quality. Only downside is that is it expensive for what you get.

The menu isnt big but they do have a reasonable selection of items but mostly dinner entrees We ordered a mini version of pho bo (beef broth pho), french escargot and the spicy baguette stick. The bone broth was good and the price for the mini version is good for a light lunch. We both enjoyed the spicy baguette stick with the pork pate. A pleasant surprise. However i find the escargot a bit pricey with the quantity and the way it was prepared. Slightly too oily to my personal prefence The iced vietnamese coffee we ordered tasted similar to a regular iced coffee, missing the sweet condensed milk flavor for a vietnamese coffee

My wife and I stopped in for dinner one evening and each ordered the aforementioned noodle soup--she got a small ($11.75 plus tax) and I got a regular ($12.75 plus tax). We also got an order of salad rolls ($7.50 plus tax), which comes with 2 rolls. The rolls came quite late. They were pretty standard, coming with fried tofu, vermicelli, and lettuce. The peanut dipping sauce was on the liquidy, salty soy sauce side of things -- I wish it were creamier and less salty. 3/5 The soups were decent. The broth was peppery, with some nice, gentle spices detectable in there. I asked for a side of chili oil, which helped amplify the broth. You get a generous portion of noodles, fried tofu, and vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, carrot). Unfortunately the veggies were quite overcooked -- the broccoli was almost soggy, so were the carrots and bok choy. 3/5 All in all, middle-of-the-road veggie pho. The broth is pleasant. The veggies were overcooked, but plentiful and nicely chosen. Decent place for veggie pho.
