October 27, 2025 - Today, I try Pho Mimosa. We got the fresh roll (I don't recall what the other appetizer was) and I got special beef noodle soup. The fresh rolls were fresh and packed with veges and shrimp. The pho was really good too. The soup base was not too salty. It was filled with noodles, garnish, beef and an assortment of vegetables. As usual, it tastes really good when eaten all together.

Randomly discovered a vietnamese gem on uber eats in the downtown area. Their shredded chicken pho and stew beef vermicelli tastes super bomb too but forgot to take a picture. I love the presentation of the mango sticky rice and this one had a different kick then what i'm used to. This one came with crushed nuts to sprinkle on top in addition to the coconut milk. I love how the sticky rice is green and was moulded into a heard shape. Pretty decent portion for only $8. I can't really say what the overall restaurant looks like as i've only had it through uber eats a few times. But all times i ordered, the food was always delivered fresh and piping hot. Great presentation and portions. You know a vietnamese restaurant is good too if it tastes just as delicious when delivered vs eating at the actual table. The service was pretty good, order was accepted and ready in a reasonable time and delivered as quoted . They close at 11 which is later than a lot of vietnamese restaurants. I'd recommend this place for a cute order in take out evening with your partner or even yourself.

This is a pretty no frills sort of place where the service is a bit short and to the point, but damn the pho was pretty tasty so I can't help but be happy for it. They had a pretty big menu of options but all I wanted was some soup, so it was the Pho tai for me. A beautiful, light, and flavorful bowl it was and I left fully satisfied and happy.

We went for a late dinner at 9 pm on a Saturday night expecting to be after the dinner rush. We were one of the only tables in there --for about 5 minutes. It filled again fast! We ordered the vegan ramen, vegetable spring rolls and lemongrass chicken bowl. All were very tasty --use the chili oil! The vegetable spring rolls were amongst the best I've had but order early -they take awhile. Solid!

Fantastic pho and wonderful rolls. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The pho tastes like a rich bone broth and not the salty junk we get in the United States. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. If in the neighborhood and looking for a fix anytime of the day, I can't say more nice things about this place.

This was a cute little restaurant a few blocks from our hotel. It was full at 9pm on Saturday night. The servers were nice and attentive. The spring rolls were really good. My husband had the vegetarian pho which he quite liked. I had the Lemongrass Chicken Bun which was tasty and fresh but I wasn't blown away. One tip-they do not bring the check to you so go up to the bar when you are ready to pay. Luckily the table next to us let us know when we were waiting for a bit. This is a great very affordable option for fresh, well-made food.

The only rainy night during our stay in Vancouver and a big bowl of Pho is what we were craving! This was a short walk from our hotel and had good reviews so we stopped by for dinner and ordered the following: - #11 Ga Nuong - Grilled Lemongrass Chicken ($7.95) to start - this was very flavorful and juicy/tender - #24 Hu Tieu Ga - Shredded Chicken Noodle Soup ($14.25) - came with additional veggies (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower) broth was very tasty - #35 Pho Bo Vien - Pho with Beef Balls ($14.25) - traditional pho can't go wrong We enjoyed the food and would come back to try other items.

The bún chả and shrimp salad rolls were especially delicious, and the pho was also great. I'd say ordering a bowl of pho is a must. My friend really enjoyed the pho broth as well.

    Veg peanut satay (underwhelming)

I was recommended this place by a friend and they have a satay pho so I made it a point to come. It is located on Davie and Granville so I expected it be quite busy. They have great reviews as well so I came prepared. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed by this place. I ordered the veggie pho and upgraded to the peanut satay. The broth was not that great and lacked any really flavours. And the vegetables were huge chunks and hard to eat. And it didn't taste very fresh. Not sure what the fuss is about.

Popped in randomly for lunch after thrifting along that street! It was pretty good. They gave a ton of noodles and toppings and for the price, you can't beat that. The broth was pretty good, I wish it had a little more beef flavor but I was still very happy with the flavors! Good amount of greens were given too. I also had their avocado smoothie which was perfectly creamy and sweet. The waiter was kind and would keep checking in on us to see if we needed anything or more water which was highly appreciated. Everything was clean and efficient. Wasn't too busy during lunch time when we stopped by!

The papaya salad lacked a bit of flavour. But, the chicken salad rolls were to die for! They were packed with vegetables and chicken which was amazing because usually it's all noodles. There were tons of tables available and the service was very quick. Will definitely be back in the winter to try their pho!

Had a brightness to it yet also very, very spicy. Tastes great on many of the dishes, especially if you wanted a nice "kick" to the food. I believe you can order a jar to take home if you wish.

The space is much nicer, with high ceilings and lots of light - great looking bistro. I ended up trying the following: - Mussels: Very good. Classic dish, but I really like the use of cream in the broth. - Bánh Mì Cay Hải Phòng (Spicy Baguette Sticks): Good. A nice little snack, although it would be easy to recreate at home. - Lamb Chops: Very good. Cooked just right, and the pepper sauce added extra flavour. - Fried Frog Legs: Very good. This was probably the surprise dish for me. They weren't just the legs, but the entire bottom of the frog, so the pieces were huge. The garlic, butter and chili flakes gave it a extra punch. I really enjoyed this one. - Pho Bo: Good. Not the best pho I've had, but it's good enough to stand on it's own. Service was quite good. Very cheerful and quite attentive. Overall a nice meal. It's a great space, the food is solid, and service to match. What I really like is having the variety of both French and Vietnamese dishes, without either of them suffering in quality. Only downside is that is it expensive for what you get.

Cali girl here *wave* I tried a bunch of different places but couldn't really say any was a favorite. I finally asked my nail tech what her favorite place was and she recommended Pho 37 and she was not wrong. Then I remembered that my nail tech will never leave me astray. I only had to try their pho once to know, THIS IS IT. Then I had to get their Bun Bo Hue, just tomake sure. The triple crown will be their Banh Mi, which I'm excited to try next but so far 5 stars all the way. Best Pho broth and the best Bun Bo Hue that I've found so far in the downtown Vancouver area. I'm sure as you fan outside of the city limits that there are just as good options but I've finally found my go to spot close to work and home after 3 months of living here. A plus plus is the huge portions but I also have to commend the meat to noodle ratio is just perfect. This is a cute little spot on Robson. Don't sleep on this one, ladies and gents. Dine in or dining out, don't forget to ask for the chilli garlic oil and garlic vinegar on the side. These condiments will level up any dish!

The only small issue was that it took a little while before someone came to take my order, and I eventually had to wave someone over. It wasn't a big deal, though, especially considering how busy they were. The portions here are huge, especially for the price. The broth was a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but it was very clean, clear, and flavorful. This is what I look for in a good bowl of pho. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had a nice soft texture. I ordered a combination bowl. My only suggestion would be a bit more of tripe and tendon. The tripe was a little sparse, and I honestly didn't realize I had tendon until I was almost finished with the bowl. But I like those, and not a lot of people do. Despite the restaurant being packed, the staff was stayed attentive, kept food coming out quickly, and did a great job taking care of everyone. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. There was a nice mix of people. Some quietly watching videos on their phones, others catching up over conversation. It felt like the kind of neighborhood spot that attracts everyone. Overall, this is a convenient, affordable place with good pho and generous portions. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely come back. .

Ordered Green Papaya Salad ($12), Lemongrass Chicken on Vermicelli with one spring roll ($17), one lime soda ($6.50) and one pop ($3). Food arrived within minutes of ordering. Portions were very generous. The salad was perfect with everything very fresh, as it should be but often isn't in some places. Plump prawns and the scent and taste of basil was prominent. Delicious! The lemongrass chicken (we ordered extra chicken) with a spring roll was also very generous. We did not finish it between the two of us. Again, all was fresh, tasty and hot. This is one of our standard orders and Pho Goodness did not disappoint. Granddaughter declared it better than at our regular favourite, and Pho Goodness is around the corner from her home and not a bus ride out to Kingsway! Service was friendly and responsive. We also got an order of salad rolls ($7.50 plus tax), which comes with 2 rolls. The rolls came quite late. They were pretty standard, coming with fried tofu, vermicelli, and lettuce. The peanut dipping sauce was on the liquidy, salty soy sauce side of things -- I wish it were creamier and less salty. 3/5 The soups were decent.
