We ordered three plates of the spring rolls and they were some of the best springs I've ever had in my entire life. They're crispy and not mushy inside, paired with the hoisin sauce absolutely delicious!! The persons are absolutely massive, so you're probably gonna end up taking something home, in which they will charge $.50 for a takeout container, but it is definitely worth it. I would genuinely come back if I can and I'll be forever thinking about this place. The Trung special soup was one of their specials, and it has a uniquely smoky flavor, which gave a lot of depth to the broth. I've been here a couple times and decided to try something completely new this time! The portions here are very generous so I recommend sharing with a friend. We got the chao tom (shrimp paste on sugarcane skewers) and the bun cha ca (fish cake noodle soup). Service was quite fast and we got our food shortly after ordering. The chao tom was served over a bed of vermicelli salad which was really nice as we were expecting just the skewers. When you bite into the skewer, it release a bit of sweet acidic flavour as it's made from sugar cane. I am so glad I tried this and will definitely be ordering it again in the future! The bun cha ca had an interesting taste and while I wasn't a big fan of it (there was a very strong dill taste), the portion was really big and I was happy with the experience of trying it. Whether it is a rice dish or pho, this place consistently delivers good tasting food. The service and turnover is quick. Taking out is also very convenient on the days you don't want to cook. Their online menu is easy to navigate. It's a busy restaurant with lots of noise, but they are always fully staffed. Our go-to dish (not shown) is the Satay Peanut Noodle Soup. This location is in Richmond on the corner of Capstan and Hazelbridge. It's always so busy when we drive by. Well the reason is because the food here is good. Nice decor, modern and bowls are big! Lots of meat in the pho. Hubby got a hot Vietnamese coffee and we were done with lunch and he still wasn't able drink his coffee. It's the slowest dripping coffee ever! One thing is that the bathrooms are fantastic. It's like a tropical oasis. The hand washing station is on the outside, but individual stalls are decorated with artificial flowers! read more

The food was good and served quickly. The shop had very cute window drawings for the holidays. Our biggest critique was the service. Although the regular service was normal and expected. They took more than 30min to bring the bread for the sizzling beef plate. We followed up several times and each time they seemed surprised but didn't do anything. I hadn't heard of Pho 37 until my friend and I were craving pho in Richmond and she suggested this spot. It was certainly very busy so I took that as a good sign, it's also located in an interesting circular building which I hadn't seen before. The place advertised No MSG broth which caught my attention, and I opted for the classic beef pho which came with all the essentials (meatballs, tendon, tripe, flank). The broth was light yet flavourful, and I definitely appreciated how it felt less salty than some other pho broths I had. There was also the option to get your beansprouts steamed which I appreciated. Lastly, the portion was huge so the price point of around $20 was worth it! My cousin recommended and took us to Pho 37 and we went back at least nearly every week for two months until the weather got too cold for sitting outside. Many thanks to the amazing team here who are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us and our dogs on the cute patio as I am immunocompromised and cannot be indoor dining. Every bowl of noodle soup here is very well portioned, you can really tell the soup truly has no MSG, and I really liked the special beef pho, egg rolls, vermicelli, wings and the beef tartare is a huge portion and amazing if you have room for it in your belly! Been wanting to try this place for a few years but never got a chance because of the constant long waits. Finally made it happen this time as I did a late airport pick. The service was quick but friendly. We shared a table but didn't mind since it meant being able to sit down sooner than others. The portions are so large. Depending in how big of an appetite one may have, one order can be split between two. I tried a bit of the pho and the broth was delicious. I got the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl and it was also very good, despite not tasting any lemongrass whatsoever - that was a bit disappointing. Been meaning to try this place for ages now since my sister told me their food is OG. Finally tried it today. The place was packed. I'm really glad we didn't have to wait long though. If we came any later, I'm pretty sure the wait would have been unbearable. Turnover's pretty quick though. Food was okay. Normal. Ingredients were fresh. Nothing extraordinary. Had a late family dinner at 8:15 pm and decided to come here due to proximity and fast service. My party of 5 were greeted and seated upon entry. The restaurant had plenty of patrons and was still pretty busy. As before, the restaurant was clean and well staffed. Items orders: Chicken pho with flat noodles- large portion with plenty of noodles, chicken was delicious, and broth was well seasoned Rare beef pho with flat noodles - large portion with plenty of meat, noodles and broth. I enjoyed it but my hubby felt the broth contained too much spice flavor (anise and cardamom). Appetizer sampler- It says for 2 but you can share with more depending on one's appetite. It came with 2 imperial rolls cut in half for 4 pieces total, 1 shrimp spring roll cut in half, 2 chicken skewers, 2 pork skewers, 3 pieces of beef short rib, 2 pieces of minced shrimp on sugar cane, some rice noodle, bean sprouts, lettuce, carrots, and cucumber. All items tasted good and fresh. Pork bahn mi- Unfortunately this fell short due to the small ratio of meat. I added meat from my Bo Ne to it. Bo Ne with bread and an extra side of bread- This was a large order filled with a generous serving of pate, 2 eggs, tomato, and a good amount of beef. This was a tad too sweet for my palate but paired well with the baguette. The baguette was light and fluffy on the inside with a toasted crust. My kids really enjoyed it. Dinner was still good and I would say this is still a solid place for Vietnamese food. Their bathroom doors are pretty neat. They have one for both genders and 2 labeled for women and 2 for men cleverly hidden behind panels that look like someone's green thumb project. This location is very pretty and very hard to park during prime time. I've tried the other location at Iron wood and they were solid there. We were seated in a private room which was nice as the main room can get very loud. BBH was very solid, no complaints. Honestly this is a 5 star restaurant! My go to spot for pho and Viet food. The combos here are great and service is always hasty! I'd 100% recommend coming here! I've been here on so many occasions and this place really deserves props. The downtown location is good but does not compare to the Richmond location. My SIL recommended this place and said that it's one of the best pho that she's ever eaten, and she's very particular about her food. So off we went to explore this place. The ambiance and decor was nice for a pho joint. Definitely not what we are used to. :-] There's a high ceiling and the washroom door was so unique. We ordered the special Pho Tuan and the sampler, and the portions was huge! We had to take the sampler to-go because we overestimated our hunger. The customer service was spectacular, the employees asked if we wanted to have the bean sprouts to be boiled or not, usually you would have to request for this but it was nice that they offered. Why is this great? Because cold beansprout will cool down your hot and delicious pho. The pho was very unique, there was a lot of meats and toppings. Visited this restaurant just before we left Vancouver. This restaurant is really close to the airport. We got seated right away and didn't have to wait which was nice. This is a posh Vietnamese restaurant compared to to what I am used to. They have an amazing huge 25 ft screen showing really amazing scenery of exotic beaches and coast lines. I presume it is from Vietnam? I cannot tell. I had the pork bruchette which tasted great. Unfortunately, their drink menu is very limited. No red bean drink, which is a bit of a disappointment. Service is amazing. The Maître d pointed us to our table. As we walked towards the table, we noticed it is short one chair. My #12 (pho with rare beef) hit the spot. The meat slices were quite tender and the soup ... the soup was addicting. It was a tad sweet and super beefy - big love. Pho 37 is one of our main go-to places for Vietnamese food since there is no MSG. They also have 10% off on Mondays. The one at Capstan Way has changed to a bigger AND brighter location in recent months. We had the opportunity to visit the new Capstan Way location recently and was pleasantly surprised by how contemporary looking the new place is. The restaurant is so much brighter, more spacious and it no longer sends off a Pho-restaurant vibe. It's even got a chandelier! The service was good and our food came out very fast. There appears to be way more servers than the old location. Since they now have bigger tables, i saw a lot of family gatherings having a good time. The food, needless to say, was good as usual. I had a standard pho and the soup was piping hot and exactly how I had wanted. My husband had a lemongrass chicken vermicelli. I found the meat on its own a little bit too salty but if you ate it together with the vermicelli, it was fine. We'll be back for more food. We had their appetizer platter a long time ago and enjoyed it very much. We'll be coming back for that and more yummy Vietnamese food. read more

One of my friends suggests restaurants we should try ever couple of weeks. A few weeks ago they recommended this place. Usually on Friday's after work (I get off at 2:30pm) I head down to Richmond to explore and also do my weekly Costco run. I remember my other friend suggested Macu Tea last week so I originally went there to grab a drink. I had no idea that Pho37 was in that area; just around the corner . Anyways, I came here for dinner. Got #32 Lemongrass Chicken with Spring roll and minced shrimp on sugarcane, as well as the chicken wings. I can see why people race about the chicken wings. They were piping hot when I got it delivered to my table by one of the cooks. I loved the flavours, a bit sweet and salty. There was no dipping sauce like other restaurants, but honestly it did t need one. It was nice and juicy and stayed crispy throughout the meal. Definitely a must get. The only downside is you get 1kg, which works out to be about 8 wings. The wings on the plus side are larger then the typical tiny wings you get at a wings restaurant. The lemongrass chicken was juicy as well. It had a nice sweetness to it and complimented the peanuts on top of it nicely. The grilled flavour came out as well. Very nicely done. The salad was a typical salad you'd get on a rice plate at a Vietnamese restaurant (cucumber, lettuce, bean sprouts, carrots, cabbage), I spruced it up with some pickled garlic and fish sauce. It made it so much better. The pickled garlic you get at the side of the table is a very nice compliment to the food here. I like that it's a bit spicy and vinegary. The spring rolls are the crispy ones you get at a typical Vietnamese restaurant, filled with vermicelli, and wood ear mushroom. I enjoyed the minced shrimp on sugarcane too, it was nice and meaty; you could even taste the way that it was cooked. Overall, a very enjoyable meal. Albeit a bit more pricy then the typical Vietnamese hole in the wall restaurant, but definitely a must visit if your in the area. If your looking for flavour, this place definitely has it. Even the soup that you get for the rice/vermicelli dish was very flavorful; had a nice oniony taste to it. I'll be back to try out more dishes. Usually the first dish I ever try when trying a new Vietnamese restaurant is their house special noodle soup and judge it from there. So I am curious to what that taste like. Service here is very attentive. I kept having people pass by me every couple of minutes. It felt intimidating after a little while as I came here around 6:30pm on a Friday and the only other people here was a table of 4 older people. You'll think I'm making this story up, but I promise you that I'm not. We went to Pho 37 for dinner. When we arrived, we got parking stall #37. After stepping out of the car, I checked my phone to see what time it was. It was 4:37pm! My husband had done a bit of research on this restaurant and decided to order the dish that he'd read the most positive reviews about. Guess which number that dish was on the menu? Yup, it was #37! Loaded with lots of beef slices, and several meatballs, my husband said the broth had a wonderfully unique flavor. He also ordered a side of Lemongrass chicken which he said was tender and flavorful. According to him though, adding fish sauce is a "must" in order to further boost the chicken's flavor. I ordered Vegetables and Tofu Noodle Soup with a Vegetable broth. It wasn't bad. There was a generous amount of vegetables in my bowl and the broth was quite tasty; however, it didn't really taste like a Pho broth. Might be the last time I order a Vegetarian Pho in a restaurant that isn't dedicated to Vegetarian/Vegan food. Love the vibes at this place! Upon entering the restaurant, there's a gigantic screen set up, where they display youtube videos of food in Vietnam. The dining room is gorgeous. There's a huge chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and an enormous glass window which makes this chandelier visible from the street. My go-to pho spot in Richmond! Even though it's often busy, I rarely have to wait for a table (I typically go as a party of two). The pho and spring rolls are my favourites--they never disappoint. I've also tried the short rib rice plate, and it was delicious. I've also noticed they have a lot of staff, so the food comes out super fast, which is a huge plus.
