We went to this place for a early lunch on Saturday morning. This place is quite large and spacious. On that day, we ordered the Beef Rib Noodle soup and Grill Chicken and Fried Egg on Broken Rice. Both dishes are flavorful and they were great in presentation. The beef rib meat was tender (fell-off bone) and it was great with the soup noodle, which was great in taste. The grill chicken was also great in taste and it was well-portion as well. Service was good but tentative when we called for service. Overall, it was one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area and I would go back for their other dishes.

This is only the second place where I got a chance to make my own spring rolls. Is pretty good for the price. I forgot to add pics. But they give you a variety of meats, veggies, even noodles to put into your spring rolls. It was pretty fun and good. It's a great appetizer. We need more places were you make your own spring rolls! The pho was awesome. The bun bue hui was also good too. Chicken wings were not bad but could have been better. The place is well decorated with nice indoor trees and nice murals. The booths are very big so a party of 8 can almost fit into a booth. It can definitely host several large parties at the same time. Place was not packed but it was cooking!! Service was friendly fast and attentive. Would definitely come back. Solid A.

Nothing special, the space is huge and very spacious, not too loud, and the tables are spaced out. The pho was ok and tasty, nothing differentiated it from other competitors. The floor is slippery in places because of the tiles, but otherwise the place is very clean. There is a 3 hour parking limit in the plaza and you have to register your license plate at the cashier on an iPad. They only take cash and debit, beware.

Popular Toronto chain here in Richmond - As this place is still pretty new , you will want to give yourself extra time to deal with the line-ups , or come during a off peak time of day. Parking wasn't bad - but can get zoo like when it gets busier - don't forget to register your plate for free parking Place is quite large and lighting was good - tables were spaced pretty well - so noise wasn't too big of an issue Fish sauce for vermicelli bowl was extremely weak, tasted very watered down - chicken was a little dry - and I kind of laughed at the spring roll, as it's half the size of a spring roll that you would see at other places. Large special pho - was okay, broth tasted good - however after you finish , you notice how heavy on MSG it was - as you will be craving for water. Price for the large would of been okay, if there was more contents aside for more soup, as the portion was similar to any other place. Personally - found this overhyped and kind of pricey for Pho. - Will likely skip the re-visit

Came here thinking this will be no different from other Pho restaurants. Long lines as 10% special is still on. We persisted as this is our second attempt to get a table. *CASH ONLY OR DEBIT CARD Ambiance is modern and clean. Tables are mostly for 2 or 4 people, a bit crowded as we are 5. We ordered the following: No. 10 CÁNH GÀ CHIÊN NƯỚC MẮM VỚI XÔI 秘制鱼露鸡翼加糯米饭 $15.95 This dish has 6 pcs of very well marinated, yummy wings. T2 SƯỜN NƯỠNG 烤肉扒 $8.95 We ordered a piece of lemongrass pork chop to give us a good comparison with other restaurants. Oh wow, it's very tender, grilled to perfection and tastes well marinated. No. 22 PHỞ SUỜN BÒ XÍ QUÁCH 特色牛排骨粉 $23.95 Each order is a set of two bowls - a bowl of a huge piece of beef bone with much tendon around it and another bowl of beef ribs with pho. Big order, I would say, which is good for 2 people to share. Soup is rich without the MSG taste. No. 19 PHỞ TÁI NẠM BÒ VIÊN 生牛肉熟牛腩牛丸粉 (small) $17.95 Soup of this cooked beef and beef balls is rich as well. Our conclusion: A close competitor's pho noodle soup is just as delicious. While I have no prices for medium and large bowls, I cannot give an accurate gauge at this time. However, the 10. CÁNH GÀ CHIÊN NƯỚC MẮM VỚI XÔI 秘制鱼露鸡翼加糯米饭 chicken wings and the No. 22 PHỞ SUỜN BÒ XÍ QUÁCH 特色牛排骨粉 are worth trying, the latter, a definite good value too.

Maybe the new best pho restaurant in Richmond. Great taste , fast service and huge portions at reasonable prices. I like they give each table a full kettle of tea . None is this nonsense of constantly bugging a server for more tea . Also Just note you have if you arrive after 6pm you have to register your car plates with the front desk for 2Hrs free parking

Bun Bo hue is my go to whenever it is available at Vietnamese noodle shops. This spicy deeply flavourful broth is perfect to warm you up on a cold rainy day. The pork wasnt dried out and noodles cooked al dente

This recently opened and the lineups have been long, but when we went on a Saturday night, we intentionally arrived early at 6 PM to avoid the crowd, but there were a lot of people already lining up. We did not wait longer than 20 minutes for a table, despite the long line. As soon as we sat down, it took us a couple minutes to order our food, but we immediately got served with our order. Service is great! We ordered the typical dishes, spring roll, fried roll, chicken on broken rice, special for, and Bo Bun Hue. The only thing that was "ok" was the fried roll -- all others were delicious and we would come back again! The restaurant itself is huge, tables are nicely spaced out, and they have a lot of booths on the perimeter of the restaurant. There's also two big fake cherry blossom trees inside the restaurant (to add to the ambiance) anchoring the drinks bar, which also seats individuals as I saw a couple of people eating here. We would definitely come back and try the other dishes next time.

This is my second time here and second review. We came early (5:30pm) and there wasn't a line and plenty of parking. We ordered a lot of food to share for the 4 of us. The only thing that we were disappointed on was that the iced coffee came in a plastic cup. We were expecting the traditional drip. It took away from the authenticity. However, the rest of the food was delicious.

Toronto chain Pho Anh Vu has landed here in Richmond and I only heard about it after seeing posts about the ridiculous 1 hour wait over the weekend. I came in last night about 45 minutes before closing and immediately sat down no wait. My friends and I ordered a few things to share - the #15 special noodle soup and the #10 fish sauce wings with sticky rice was allegedly well-reviewed by others. The pho was a very well-portioned heaping bowl of noodle soup with flat noodles. Upon first taste, it was good but I didn't feel that it was anything more special than what I typically get at other pho places. I sampled a small bite of the rice plate and the pork chop tasted a bit dry but otherwise, well seasoned and again, well-portioned. The highly anticipated wings...were 6 miniscule pieces of drumstick and wings accompanied with sticky rice and pickled vegetables. Flavour-wise, the wings were great but because of the small size they ended up being on the drier side and I wasn't able to enjoy much of it. The coconut sticky rice was a nice fragrant pairing but seriously...they need to make the chicken a bit bigger. For $16, I would've been more satisfied with 4 larger wings/drumsticks than this. Luckily I did not participate in the 1 hour wait for this place otherwise I would be devastated. I think I would come back to give this place another chance especially if I'm feeling hungry and want bigger portions however, my first impression of this place was just mid (and I can't break up with my #1 love Pho 37).

Pho Ang Vu is a popular chain in Ontario with multiple locations so I was excited to try it when the first one opened in Richmond, BC. The location is huge and can seat 140 people. We tried 3 dishes between all of us. The regular pho noodle soup with brisket, steak and tripe. I thought the pho itself was good and the broth was fine. It wasn't the best pho I've had, but still good, although a little on the smaller side even for a large bowl. The Bun Bo Hue was flavorful and well made. The pork blood was fresh and enjoyable. The pork hock was tender and cooked for a long time. The broth itself was delicious with the freshly made meatballs. The lemongrass pork with prawn wrapped in sugar cane and spring rolls was our favorite dish. We substituted the vermicelli with broken rice and it was the best decision. Everything in this plate went well together. The pork was flavorful and paired perfectly with the sauce. The prawn wrapped in sugarcane was bouncy and fresh. The spring rolls was crispy and I wish there was more. For the rice itself, our group couldn't get enough. The price was a tiny bit on the higher side. A great experience overall.

Food has always been great and we are the regulars come back for their beef ribs rice noodles soup, you have to come to earlier because the beef ribs are limited, only 20 portions every day according to the stuff .

Came here for a late lunch and was seated quickly. After leaving us the menu it was extremely hard to get a hold of someone to order. It wasn't too busy but couldn't find a single person to order. We ordered the bun bo hue and pho dac biet. The soup was very clean and the noodles were cooked perfectly. They also had the pickles on the side for us to enjoy. I found the pickled peppers to be a bit spicy for me. The portions were quite large good thing we came famished. My partner couldn't finish hers so I got to have some of hers as well. Other than having difficulty getting someone to take our order, everything else was great! 10/10 would come again

(Kari's Rating 9.5/10)…read more Came with a group of 8 at 8:45pm and were seated immediately. The food came out lightning fast, everything is superb! I know she was doubting the authenticity at this place, but it absolutely blew me away-and I'm Asian. I ordered a bit off menu with the beef pho with a lemongrass broth and thicker noodles. We ordered three plates of the spring rolls and they were some of the best springs I've ever had in my entire life. They're crispy and not mushy inside, paired with the hoisin sauce absolutely delicious!! The persons are absolutely massive, so you're probably gonna end up taking something home, in which they will charge $.50 for a takeout container, but it is definitely worth it. I would genuinely come back if I can and I'll be forever thinking about this place. The Trung special soup was one of their specials, and it has a uniquely smoky flavor, which gave a lot of depth to the broth. The lemongrass chicken vermicelli plate was also delicious, it did need a little bit of hoisin and spice seasoning to lighten it up, but a very delicious meal with the pickled vegetables.

We got the chao tom (shrimp paste on sugarcane skewers) and the bun cha ca (fish cake noodle soup). Service was quite fast and we got our food shortly after ordering. The chao tom was served over a bed of vermicelli salad which was really nice as we were expecting just the skewers. When you bite into the skewer, it release a bit of sweet acidic flavour as it's made from sugar cane. I am so glad I tried this and will definitely be ordering it again in the future! The bun cha ca had an interesting taste and while I wasn't a big fan of it (there was a very strong dill taste), the portion was really big and I was happy with the experience of trying it. Overall, Pho 37 consistently impresses me with their food and I understand why they're always busy with customers!

It is a small Vietnamese restaurant, sitting low profile in the neighbourhood of Capstan. There are plenty parking lots outside. I ordered the fish cake noodle soup which is chef recommended.
