Bottom to top. Tiger roll, dragon roll Ebi in snow roll, and spider roll.

As a California sushi snob, I have very high standards, and Tsukimi is hands down my favorite sushi restaurant! The quality of the fish is always incredibly fresh, and everything is consistently delicious. It's easily the best all-you-can-eat sushi I've found. They also have a full menu option as well. Now that I'm pregnant, I thought I'd have to give up my sushi cravings, but Mia made sure that wasn't the case. She was so kind and took the time to go through the entire all-you-can-eat menu with me, pointing out every fully cooked roll and item that was safe for me to enjoy. That level of care and customer service meant so much to me. The restaurant is very clean. Mia and her husband are some of the sweetest, friendliest owners you'll ever meet, and they truly make every visit feel welcoming. If you're looking for amazing sushi, wonderful service, and people who genuinely care about their customers, this is the place to go! I'll keep coming back and recommending Tsukimi to everyone I know.

had sushi delivered today, and while the service was okay, the food itself was just average. The roll I ordered didn't really stand out--nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Honestly, I don't think I'd order that specific roll again. Delivery was late, but I appreciated that they at least sent a text to let me know ahead of time. That small touch helped. Overall, not a terrible experience, just nothing that would make me rush back for this roll.

The staff is very nice. The food was overall good, the Cajun Asian roll was mediocre. The katsu was excellent! Overall a nice place, family owned! Will definitely return. They have ACYE options which we didn't opt for this time but def looked great!

I used to come here pre covid and hadn't been in a while. I was presently surprised with the quality and flavor of everything we had! The nigiri (escalor, yellowtail and peppered tuna) were all fresh and perfect temperature/ flavor. The stuffed mushrooms and jalapeños were really great- I love texture to me sushi as well as sauces. We had a few rolls- double tuna, scallop in the snow (not pictured) and I forgot the others - I was a tad disappointed in scallop in the show as I was unable to locate any scallop . The spicy edemame was flavorful and smoky. Plenty of tables but not great for large parties however they can accommodate if needed. Our server was quick and kind, drinks were refilled promptly and he came to check on us frequently. I will definitely be back soon!

First time at Tsukimi but definitely not my last. Food was amazing, delicious flavors and service was great! Sashimi perfectly seasoned and flavored. Not too crowded we were sat right away. Nice calm ambiance, great for chatting and catching up with a friend!

Stuffed jalapeños. Lots of Flavor! Not spicy.

Each time I get here, I have always tried their wonderful and plentiful ayce options. The last visit was a show stopper. My son and I were hungry and came in at 1:30 and they close by 2:30 pm. for siesta. Being the only customers there at this time we get to enjoy all their time and attention. I especially enjoy their the salmon poke and order this with each visit. This last visit included a beautiful presentation of the rolls, thoughtfully and neatly displayed in a ring. It was just so pleasing on the eye that it paused us to view, take lots of pictures, and enjoy our sushi from all angles with the eyes, and tastebuds. And it was fresh and well-received. My son ordered the chicken Katsu twice, because of the chicken perfectly fried crispy panko batter. He said this to be our best sushi we ever enjoyed together! The plating was on point and worth mentioning. Thank you Tsukimi for a memorable experience.

Came on a Saturday around 4:30 pm. They had a single waitress working the whole establishment. She was literally RUNNING table to table while the hostess read a book. Food took forever. Sushi absolutely sucked. Everything tasted off- the scallops tasted like literal bandaids. The tuna eggrolls literally tasted like canned tuna. Nothing was fresh and stuff took FOREVER to come out even though the place was about a quarter full, if that. Will never return. Felt bad for the server she tried.

    Japanese Lasagna

This place was AMAZING. Perfect place to end the night. The food was immaculate, highly recommend the Japanese lasagna and the yellow tail sushi. However, besides the food the service was so welcoming. We had Mia as a waitress/manager and she won us over and will be our main reason to returning to Tsukimi. She was so sweet, helpful and reassuring throughout our stay and truly made our experience 100/10. We can't wait to be back!

Arrived just after they opened along with two other couples. Even with 3 tables sitting at the same time, service was good. The server was attentive, explaining the AYCE (all you can eat) rules to us. We ordered a good number of rolls and appetizers to try. The appetizers were not strongly flavored. I liked the breading on the chicken katsu and it was fried well. I liked the spicier sauces on the rolls but felt like overall they had too much sauce in them and the sushi itself was not my favorite. If you're looking for a steal of a deal and decent sushi, then this AYCE is a great choice. My favorite roll out of the 10 we ordered was the Monster* deep fried roll.

    Wonderful place for birthdays!!

Absolutely wonderful environment and people!!! The food is phenomenal. Quick service and smiling faces! Highly recommend the all you can eat! Will be frequented often!

    Pork Bulgogi

This AYCE sushi place always hits the spot. The sushi quality is comparable to the other ayce sushi places but the kitchen items are great. The pork bulgogi, udon, and bulgogi are standouts from what we had out of the kitchen entrees.

Small place, pretty plain inside. Mostly open area with tables and a sushi bar Came in and was asked all you can eat or regular menu. Wasn't sure so they gave me both. Looked them over and decided to go with all you can eat They do the ordering in rounds here, and you can do up to 4 rounds. They don't limit you but have Recommendations ofn3 rolls and 20 nigiri a round. They also have the standard AYCE rules about charging full price for unfinished items and rice Ordered 2 rolls and 8 nigiri to start. The Japanese lasagna baked roll is called crawfish over cheese and was good. Nice take on a classic. Also got the Tex mex roll and it was good but not as spicy as I'd hoped. Nigiri was good, fresh but small. Had all the usual suspects, tuna, salmon, yellowtail etc. I like more fish than rice and was opposite here but very tasty and fresh For round 2 I tried the shrimp tempura and tempura bananas. Both were excellent. You get 2 shrimps with the AYCE but was very light and tasty. Banal was really good and was my dessert. I only made it through 2 rounds. Service was a mixed bag. Server was friendly and very helpful. Answered all my questions and brought food with a smile. Only issue was he spent as much time making out with the hostess as waiting on tables. There was 3 tables while I was there, and we spent a lot of time waiting while they passionately made out, loudly kissing. I've been young and in love so I get it but was weird for sure I'd definitely come back

AYCE sushi in Austin It was around $40 per person. Overall, the food was alright but nothing that majorly impressed me. I was disappointed that there was no sashimi. I didn't like the ice cream either I will say the balloon fish and fatty salmon are good. If I came again, I would order a la carte. The AYCE pieces are the same as a la carte.

It's located inside what I think is a mini golf place (or some kind of entertainment venue haha), and the restaurant itself is hidden behind a bookshelf like a speakeasy. I had never heard of the place before, but I thought the whole concept was SO cool. The omakase itself is incredibly intimate with only a handful of seats, which makes the entire experience feel really personal. Chef and his small team are all so warm and welcoming, and one of my favorite parts was that they actually encourage everyone to get to know each other throughout the meal. It ended up feeling like one big group dinner rather than everyone quietly eating their own meal. My friend and I were even watching the Super Bowl with everyone during our seating, which made the night even more fun! The fish was, of course, phenomenal. Every piece was prepared with so much care and precision, and you could really tell how passionate Chef is about his craft. I'd say the menu falls somewhere in the middle between a super traditional Edomae omakase and a more modern, creative one, which I personally loved. Everything felt incredibly thoughtful without being overly experimental. I also have to give a shoutout to their cocktail program because every drink we had was AMAZING! I don't even think there's a traditional drink menu. Instead, their bartender just asked each of us what kinds of flavors we usually like and created custom cocktails based on our preferences. Every single drink she made for my friends and me was SO good and paired perfectly with the meal. One thing to keep in mind is that each seating is pretty long--we were there for close to three hours! It definitely felt like an experience rather than just dinner, but honestly, the time flew by because everyone was chatting, eating, and having such a great time. It is definitely on the expensive side, but for the quality of the fish, the hospitality, and the overall experience, I thought it was absolutely worth it. One of my favorite little details was that the room is filled with Chef's personal belongings, books, and little collectibles, which makes the space feel so cozy and lived in. He genuinely welcomes guests to ask him about anything in the room, and you can tell he's just such a well-rounded and passionate person. More than anything, this was just such a FUN omakase experience!! If you're looking for something that's intimate, interactive, and a little different from your typical omakase, I can't recommend Toshokan enough!

There are 6 seats. My boyfriend and I had such a fun, personal experience. The staff were incredible--warm, engaging, and genuinely excited to guide us through each course. The food itself was delicious, beautifully crafted, and felt customized in a way that made the night feel unique to us. It's the kind of omakase that doesn't take itself too seriously while still delivering seriously good dishes. I also highly recommend the sake and cocktail pairing. The bartender customizes it based on your preferences. I told her my favorite drink is an espresso martini and she made this really fun espresso, strawberry latte concoction. There is also a special house sake with an homage to the owner's cat. I love those personal details. It's always a great time at Toshokan, and I'll definitely be back again. PS it's a great place to celebrate your birthday or special occasion! They broke out a guitar to serenade me lol

The way they presented the sauces made it slightly hard to dip your roll in it, but would still order again. My friends loved the transformer roll. Yuka-tekkan was a let down for me, just not very flavorful. Overall, would definitely come back for some rolls and the happy hour! My favorite maki rolls are the scallop chirashi and the A5, but the scallop maki is the one I crave most--it's so good. Their lychee martini is also delicious and not overly sweet. The Kyoto Blush, on the other hand, was far too sweet for me, so I wouldn't order that one again. I've tried a few other dishes as well. The wagyu sando wasn't quite what I expected, since the meat had more of a patty-like texture that I didn't think paired especially well with the milk bread. The wagyu donburi had a nice layer of crispy rice at the bottom after mixing, but there were too many sour and pickled components, which threw off the balance of the dish a little. Overall, Tenten is a solid spot, especially once you know which menu items you like. Service can be a bit hit or miss, but nothing bad enough to keep me from coming back.
