Halo Halo to go!
Myrine S.

Halo halo on a hot summer day is the best. Refreshing, sweet and creamy with lots of layers of flavors made up of crushed ice, condensed milk, sweet beans, and fruits. Topped off with ice cream and flan. I prefer ube ice cream but theirs came with vanilla. The flan was really good -- rich and smooth. One of my favorite desserts.

Such great matcha and so many options! Nutty, naturally sweet and good matcha to milk ratio. Love how they don't use any artificial ingredients or dyes! Even though this isn't a free standing shop and is located in a public market I love how they still have their own design and vibe to their store front! Love the tile work, and overall aesthetic. There is also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating which I appreciate! The staff were so sweet and welcoming, I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the IE.

Located inside of the food mall, tasty drinks, and friendly service. I enjoyed the Matcha, well-made and fairly priced. Great option to grab a drink while browsing the other offerings!

Masarap mango fiesta halo halo! First time. Not too sweet. Looks like a lot of other goodies that we will have to try next time.

Ube Latte

The Ube flavor was lacking unfortunately! I was quite bummed. It's a pricey drink! $9.00 I got the Ube Latte btw.

A good spot for a sugary sweet quick pick me up. It's located in the Redlands public market, right at the entrance. It would not be hard to miss with its bright teal colors and lit up atmosphere. I took a look at the menu while waiting in line. There were a few people waiting for the drinks. They have a variety of options to choose from, like boba, coffee, lemonade and matcha. I chose the matcha ube with oat milk and organic hojicha milk. They have standard sizing. There were two staff members. Our cashier was nice and accommodating. She answered my question in whether the oat milk was gluten free. It is. Our drinks didn't take more than 10 minutes. They were delicious. The first sip of my matcha ube was a dream. Thanks!

I wanted to love this place since the employees were great, ambiance was inviting, and the service was quick but was left disappointed by all the drinks :( The matcha latte with banana came with actual unripe banana chunks and the texture completely threw me off! The thai tea was also off since it tasted more like whipped cream with a dash of Thai tea flavoring, and the ube matcha latte just didn't sit well since it wasn't sweet enough and the ube flavoring was too artificial and powdery Also its card only since they don't accept cash!

I've been a couple of times now and they do not disappoint!! My ube iced matcha was tasty and not very sweet, just how I like it!

It was a little difficult for me to find this place, however, I knew it was inside the Redlands public market. I entered through the side and walked around, looking for this place, and I didn't realize that it was facing outward kind of separate from the food hall. I placed my order with the cashier. It wasn't too busy so they had available seating. I waited about 10-15 minutes for my order. I wonder why it took so long, as they were not busy. When I got my drink, I wasn't really impressed. Yeah, you can see the green for the Matcha, but I can already tell by the Ube foam that the taste would be subtle. I was wrong. Both the Matcha and Ube flavors were subtle. In fact, both flavors were really hard to taste. The drink tasted really watered down. I didn't get that sweet and earthy taste a Macha drink is supposed to taste like. And as a Filipino I hardly got any Ube flavor taste from that drink. Such a disappointment in this drink because I had high hopes for it. I was really looking forward to having drink.

Cute little boba shop located inside the public market of Redlands. I decided to stop by here with a few friends and got their royal ube with boba. While the foam at the top was really good, unfortunately I didn't taste any ube flavor in the drink.. it was very bland if I am honest. The boba was nice and chewy but also flavorless. If unsweetened boba is what you are aiming for, this is great, however, if you're thinking of the more common sweet to semi sweet boba, you might be very disappointed. Hoping we get the chance to adjust the sweetness in the future. Otherwise the service was great and it is located in a lively area.

Drinks came out fast! They made sure we were ok with the dairy in the heavy cream bc we ordered drinks with oat milk which was super nice! Blueberry cloud latte is very tasty and has graham cracker crumbs in it for texture(kinda funky). Banana matcha has a strong banana taste to it and oat milk flavor is strong. Overall clean cafe with good service

When you walk into the main entrance of the Redland Public Market, to your right is Tsoko. It is a handcrafted tea, coffee, Boba shop that leans towards Filipino flavors. That in itself is very unique as it's the first one I've ever stumbled upon. Tsoko is Filipino for chocolate and the menu includes chocolate drinks along with coffee and tea. They offered ceremonial grade Matcha from Japan and we decided to get one to try. The Matcha flavor is very prominent and it is a stand-up drink. They offer house made jams and syrups along with fresh boba. The menu is unlike any I've seen before and well worth a try for anyone exploring this market. I will definitely try the Tsoko chocolate drinks next time I'm up this way. Parking is ample on streets and nearby lots. Casual and good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Ube Royale $8 was very yummy

Full disclosure, I went in the evening, so I wasn't fighting the morning/weekend crowds. First of all, the outside space is awesome, there are cute tables and lights outside (but don't worry there are umbrellas so the sun won't beam on you). The inside is super vibey with ample seating. I'm going to assume that because lots of folks were working on their computers that there is WiFi available. Definitely forgot to snag a picture of the drink menu, but the barista told me about their house syrups that are available all year but they have a seasonal menu. 10/10 recommend the pb&j latte

Every sip had something going on, and the drink itself (Vienna) was the best part. However, when considering price and size it, was a bit of a let down. It only comes in a 12 oz, and at $8 a cup, the price-to-size ratio didn't quite make sense for me compared to similar specialty coffee shops. The space was also not really my vibe. There were A LOT of people working, but the quarters felt tight and cramped. Instead of cozy, homey coffee shop vibes, it was giving college dormitory where everybody crams in to work and hang out. Apparently, I've aged out of that aesthetic. Service was decent and quick, though, and I really love the mission behind this business, which definitely deserves some extra love from me. And a random shoutout to the bathroom because it was actually large, spacious and quite nice. Bottom line: The drink was phenomenal, the mission is something I really appreciate, and while the price/size and atmosphere weren't quite my thing, I still had a fairly decent experience overall.

My iced vanilla Americano wasn't mixed, so I ended up drinking concentrated vanilla syrup/sugar at the bottom of the cup. On top of that, the drink was filled so high that it was already spilling over when it was handed to me. The bigger issue was the Wi-Fi. The internet appeared to have DNS problems on both my phone and laptop. I have some networking experience, so I spent time trying to troubleshoot and reconfigure my computer before asking the staff. A barista acknowledged they were aware of the issue but said they didn't have access to the router or anything to fix it. If this location wants to attract remote workers and people staying for a while, I'd recommend looking into the Wi-Fi reliability. It made what should have been a productive visit much more frustrating. The staff was polite, but the overall experience could definitely be improved.

The lovely interior with various modes of seating transports you to a chill Palm Springs minus the gas prices for the drive. If you're a college type with a laptop and some stylish clothing, this is your vibe. I decided to give them some time to get their act together before I returned for a review and today was the day we tried their offerings. I had a breakfast sandwich and my partner in crime had a breakfast burrito. Even though it was after 3:30 p.m. neither of us cared and our 'breakfast' so good. We shared a chai latte which delivered creaminess and flavor. The seating was comfortable, the music playlist was pleasant, and the lighting was comforting. Why anyone would go to Starbucks these days is beyond me. My only complaint is perhaps they need more food offerings. I asked for a spicy sauce to replaced by mayo and they said they had no may. (A kitchen without mayo?!?) My partner in crime is delighted by the many vegetarian offerings, but maybe a little more in the meat side of things? RoadRunner Coffee is just so next level for State Street and Redlands in general. I'm delighted that a business like this will be knocking State Street out of its lethargic nostalgia and into modern-day wonderfulness. It pairs well with our new Page78 bookstore.
