It's open decently late (for a coffee shop in Rochester) on weekdays (7pm), which is perfect for studying. They have plenty of parking in their parking lot. Their outdoor seating is placed directly in front of their building with plenty of shade, or in the grassy area next to the parking lot. It seems to be a kid-friendly cafe as well, since they have play areas. They have a cute indoor shop with food-related gifts like baked goodies, coffee, chocolate bars, and even dog treats. The service was wonderful, and they were very willing to make a call to the baker to check my allergies. There's not a lot of indoor seating, but it was enough to find a spot to study. It's priced by the size of the container, not by weight. We walked through the adjacent seating area and out the door to sit at one of the three outdoor picnic tables. When we were done, the door we came out of was locked so we had to go through the front entrance back into Lorraine's to toss our garbage out. No trash cans outside. Overall, I probably wouldn't come here again just because it seems like a place for employees to conveniently grab lunch downstairs, not necessarily outsiders looking for a place to dine.
