The noises from my crawl space resumed several days after Aaron removed the one-way trap. My sales rep, Devin, would not respond to my texts or calls. Since I had already spent close to $1,000 with Critter Control, I tried to get rid of the pest myself. Eventually, I finally found a local wildlife and pest service company that came out the day after I called and installed a camera. The following morning, they sent me a video of the skunk walking around in my crawl space. Obviously, the one-way trap didn't work, so I had to pay someone else (who was much more reasonably priced), to remove the skunk. If Devin had responded to me, they could have at least re-installed the one-way trap. BTW. When their customer service responded to my initial review asking me to contact them, the email address she gave me sent my email back as undeliverable. My advice is to find a local company to help you that actually cares.

Part of the service included controlling for ticks in our yard, even though we were certain we picked up the ticks during the previous weekend's travels. The person on the phone gave no answers at all about the ticks, whether they could lead to an infestation, etc. After we texted Jesse a picture of the ticks, he identified them and said tick infestations are rare, we should wash our sheets in hot water and dry them on high heat, vacuum thoroughly, check with a doctor to see if there are any health concerns, and call him if we were still seeing ticks in a few weeks. I also mentioned our having seen a few cockroaches around the house. He gave similar advice: it's late summer; if you're not seeing more than a few, don't worry; and call back if you start seeing more. He even gave advice about duct-taping over the flashing in our vents if they had pulled away from the wood. I think the two negative reviews represent folks who misinterpreted his bluntness as a bad attitude. I found him to be straight to the point, knowledgeable, and honest even against his self-interest. So a long story short: I was prepared to spend money on two different; Jesse talked me out of it and instead gave me helpful free advice. This may have cost him some business today, but we now know whom to call if we have any bug problems in the future.
