Another regional company, which I had called first, recommended that I have them out for a $195 visit and enroll in a $109-per-month follow-up service. Part of the service included controlling for ticks in our yard, even though we were certain we picked up the ticks during the previous weekend's travels. The person on the phone gave no answers at all about the ticks, whether they could lead to an infestation, etc. After we texted Jesse a picture of the ticks, he identified them and said tick infestations are rare, we should wash our sheets in hot water and dry them on high heat, vacuum thoroughly, check with a doctor to see if there are any health concerns, and call him if we were still seeing ticks in a few weeks. I also mentioned our having seen a few cockroaches around the house. He gave similar advice: it's late summer; if you're not seeing more than a few, don't worry; and call back if you start seeing more. He even gave advice about duct-taping over the flashing in our vents if they had pulled away from the wood. I think the two negative reviews represent folks who misinterpreted his bluntness as a bad attitude. I found him to be straight to the point, knowledgeable, and honest even against his self-interest. So a long story short: I was prepared to spend money on two different; Jesse talked me out of it and instead gave me helpful free advice. This may have cost him some business today, but we now know whom to call if we have any bug problems in the future.

The lady that answered the phone wouldnt let me talk to a specialist, she just kept asking me if I wanted someone to come and treat the house! Its very complex whats going on at my brothers house. He has infestations of earwigs, several species of aunts, one of which is a colonization of imported red fire ants. I believe its all stemming from the giant ponderosa pines lining his property that are sick. She said they only exterminate inside the house. They dont do trees, Id have to get a landscaper! I told her that I had a forestry specialist coming to advise about the trees and that I was calling Orkin to address the infestations of the various species of ants, earwigs and several small dead snakes ive found on sidewalks in past couple days. that the insects were a result of the sick trees and I needed to talk to a pest specialist about the infestations. she said they dont do trees, that she could send someone out to treat the house!! Grrrr! I told her I needed to speak to a specialist that could understand what im dealing with and she said she could send one out to treat house! I told her that by just trying to sales pitch me and not letting me talk to someone that knows what they are talking about lost a possible good steady customer! Then I hung up. my brother has had a steady exterminator coming in here for years and the guy did not do anything for all these infestations! Never even mentioned any of these issues or noticed or remedied even the earwigs that are all through his house! I never heard back after sending more than a dozen text and leaving multiple message. I assume they went out of business but then reading post here perhaps they have not after being a standing customer for nearly 4 years. It's disappointing to not get a return call. I tried every number including the WhatsApp contact and the email. I even entered a request through the email like a new client and still no return response. Product wise I would be very highly and very kind, but I find the lack of response to be highly unprofessional in the service overall unreliable.
