Treatment for cockroaches not effective at all. Re termites, I was told they would need to redo bait traps and that there would be no charge for this, and that it was required. An invoice looks as if the cost to do this is $400! I emailed the office and no one has responded. POST SCRIPT: I had a phone call today from Aaron at Clear Defense, who clarified the invoice regarding termite protection: he confirmed my original understanding that there would be no additional charge for new termite bait-I misread the invoice! We also discussed the problem with roaches and what can be done-he had some suggestions and Clear Defense will return this week. I felt much happier and appreciated his call read more

THREE years after my first review and (surprise) STILL a happy camper! Please see my other reviews for details, but just know that I'm a stingy girl and yet I've never even BLINKED at the autopay for ClearDefense Pest Control. - People who answer the office phone: SO friendly, super efficient, extremely accommodating of reschedule requests - Technicians: the kindest people ever -- extremely respectful of our home, always listen to our specific concerns and tell us how they plan to treat the property, and have great attention to detail (garage nooks/crannies, going around furniture, putting extra traps) - The actual pest control product: I would be fine with toxic fumes if it meant I never saw a roach again, but whatever the technicians at Clear Defense us is apparently effective AND child/pet-safe once it dries down (we have neither but good to know!). In 3 years, I have only found 6 dead cockroaches (zero alive) inside my home, which is a really low and super predictable rate of horror that gives me great peace of mind. anyway, tl;dr: still advocating for whoever reads this to switch to Clear Defense. I'm cheap, easily terrified by bugs, and extremely picky about in-home service providers -- I have never complained about the price of my service, I have never felt their treatments were ineffective, and I have only ever had glowing reviews about all of the technicians that have treated our home. read more

After a year now of quarterly service, I can say that it's been great. Their customer service is excellent, and each technician I've had did an awesome job. (Shout out to DAVID FURR this time!) I even had a small moth infestation this year due to me leaving a bag of bird food in the house (‍), which they had to come out a couple times for to really get rid of it (due to new hatchings), they were so accommodating. An hour ago we had two ClearDefense salesmen come and knock on our door despite the "No Soliciting" sign at the front of our neighborhood, despite the "No Soliciting" sign very clearly above our doorbell AND despite the bright pink "Shhh...we have a sleeping baby, please don't ring or knock" sign literally hanging ON our doorbell. And wouldn't you know it, they knock, our dogs bark, and they wake our baby up. It is absolutely unacceptable to not respect the very clear and stated boundaries in neighborhoods and homes. It's bad enough you send people door to door to disrupt people's evenings, but to not adhere to the explicit ways people ask you to leave them alone is NOT okay. We will never use a company who practices door to door sales and we especially will never use a company who so blatantly disrespects us in our home. read more

Each time a ClearDefense employee comes to spray my home, I feel so relieved. Yesterday Matthew G sprayed our home for ants and fruit flies and was very attentive. As we were discussing a problem area near the window, we noticed an active wasp nest. Matt was able to destroy the wasp nest and found gaps in our windows where bugs were able to get in. I appreciate how helpful Matt was and his advice. Highly recommend ClearDefense! They have prevented all sorts of pests from making our home theirs. Also, this spray was in between our quarterly sprays, meaning they didn't charge us. That is an amazing value and I appreciate their dedication to good customer service. read more
