I used Alexander Exterminating for years...they were great. But Alxander Exterminating sold to Rocket Pest...Now they never answer their phone or return emails. When you call the number listed on the internet, you are sent to a call center in Florida. If they will not respond to my emails or phone calls, they are not of any use to me anymore. I made 2 different service appts with them... to get on schedule for their services. Its like they have no customer service. Both occasions I told them when I get back to my house I will look at the contract. They were pushing hard to sign this contract and to get my credit card on file. I had no problem with doing but I guess I didnt sign fast eneough ( or give them my credit card fast enough - within 1 - 2 days of a conversation) . They never took my calls again. Never called to say they can't do the job again... nothing. Poor questionable service provider. read more

Needed termite annual inspections. Made an appointment. Tried to cancel the appointment and account. Spent almost an hour texting the company. I still don't have confirmation that the appointment has been canceled and any future services. When calling their number, I am always sent to a call center in Florida. So last year me and the fiance finally got the house into "move in" condition. About a month after we moved in we started seeing some ants around the sink, so I called Terminex and signed a contract for them to come out and spray for pests and inspect for termites. About two weeks later I'm looking at a full blown ant invasion. I called Terminex and tell them that we have a problem. Long story short this problem occurs right up till this week getting progressively worse. Terminex would literally be at my house every two weeks trying to fix the issue. I'd get all kinds of stories about why the problem persisted...it's an old house, the weather, we just need to put out a few more traps. Lame excuses after lame excuse. So a realtor friend suggests I call Alexander. They come out and asses the situation. Turns out Terminex wasn't using the correct protocol for getting rid of this particular species of ant that had made a nest under the house. Jeff, the Alexander rep, explains the whole situation to me and how they are going to treat it. He and his assistant spend several hours thoroughly treating the house. The next day...no ants. Not one. And the contract with Alexander was significantly cheaper (hundered of dollars less) than the ineffective Terminex. We called Alexander Exterminating to get rid of ants and spiders in our home. They came out with this silver pump up spray can and sprayed a pin stream around our baseboards and did the same outside our home. After a week there was no inprovment and they did it again with no better results. The price was cheap but so was the service. On the advice of our neighbor we called Terminix, they came out and did an inspection and removed all the spider webs from our home. sprayed the entire outside using a pressure sprayer that was mounted in their truck and then did a "safe" crack and crevis treatment on the inside of our home. it's been 4 months and no more problems! Don't make the mistake we did and go for the lowest price as you will get the lowest service to go with it! read more

I had a year contract with Alexander Exterminating and never had any issues at all. However, when the year was over and I decided not to renew with this company, they took it upon themselves to come spray my house (with nobody home mind you) and then leave a bill inside my front door. When my husband called to confront them about this, they said that the contract auto-renews if you do not cancel it. I'm not sure what kind of bogus practice this is, but in my mind, it's a SCAM. I would definitely go with a more HONEST company and will do so in the future. read more

We have been in our house since 1996 in Cary. We had another exterminator that was "started" with the contractor. They were way expensive, didn't show up on time, and didn't seem to do much of anything when they came for an inspection. Heck, they didn't even go under our house into the crawl space when they came to do the termite inspection, and I knew that was wrong!!! I asked a realtor who to call, and they recommended Alexander, and we have been using them ever since. If I forget, they send us a reminder (we have stayed under contract for termites). They are very thorough and we haven't ever ever had a problem.. They don't try to oversell (like some of the bigger named companies do (my parents had an issue with that!!) and they SEEM to be really honest and upfront. I highly recommend this company.
