Had inspection done for what I thought might be termite damage of my porch steps. Troy came out and inspected the area in question and the rest of the house foundation, crawl space and garage. He found no termite activity and said the stair damage was from wood rot/water damage. I really appreciate the time he spent inspecting the house and explaining what he found, especially since he didn't charge anything for the inspection. What really impressed me was that he didn't try to push me into buying a treatment or maintenance program. He gave me some options for preventative treatment, if I so desired, but didn't push me to have anything done. Just said to let him know if later I decided I was interested in doing something. Highly recommend. read more

Can't ask for a better service & at a reasonable rate also. My 2nd time around with them & both times have been above expectations. I didn't think my critter problem was ever going to get fixed UNTIL I spoke with Sal & Protekt. They got me straight exactly in the time frame they said they would. Hands down will DEFINITELY use them any time I have a pest issue. Very knowledgeable. read more

We used them for a termite inspection and then mosquito treatments! Great customer service.

Dominic is professional, polite, and very easy to communicate with. He responds quickly and, if I ever have to leave a message, he follows up promptly. His work is extremely thorough, and it's clear he really knows what he's doing. This is not my first pest control company, but I can confidently say this is a quality business. I happily give Dominic five stars in every category. read more

Super friendly, responsive, and transparent. I went from using them at just my home to three other properties as well. Highly recommend!

I switched to Protekt Pest Solutions several years ago when I became dissatisfied with Terminix services. I appreciate that Protekt allows a customer to request a technician for the services provided. This makes each visit more streamlined as the technician knows the routine and doesn't require homeowner supervision. Sal provides quarterly pest control and I couldn't br happier. He tailors the service which includes: application of preventative spray, inspection of attic, second floor crawlspace, sealed outside crawlspace, setting preventive insect and mouse traps, sweeping outside house and inside garages for insects, etc. Sal performs thorough inspections. He came within hours of my reporting a yellow jacket incident and solved the problem. I'm very pleased with Protekt services and especially appreciate Sal's wonderful attention to detail. read more

The service was quick and professional. Noah was thorough and very personable. We'd definitely recommend the company.

Troy and his team did an amazing work at my property and very professionally done. Highly recommend their services.

The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. Taught me how I can help between visits.

We bought a home and the inspection discovered some active termites in one area. It wasn't clear how extensive it was. Troy and his team came in and helped us understand the current damage and quote a full remediation which the seller paid for. A year later after re inspection, there is still no evidence of insects. I'll always call Troy's team for any pest related problems! read more

Troy did a great job explaining my options. Gave me options to resolve myself first vs. having him come out. After talking through it, he gave me a few options. Ended up moving forward with Troy and he did a great job. Very professional and great follow-through. read more

Outstanding integrity....I called thinking I had mice in my attic. The owner told me I didn't need an exterminator, that I should just buy traps!! However, I had no interest in setting traps and then dealing (or looking at) dead mice. So he sent out Sal to deal with my issue. Sal was great - friendly and set traps, returned in a few days and informed me I only had one mouse. This will definitely be my go-to company for any bug issues. read more

Was looking for a company to set up the quarterly pest control and just had Troy and Trevor here doing the initial pest service and Troy also did a termite examination. Trevor did a very thorough job throughout the house spraying, cleaning cobwebs in the house, attic and crawl space. He discussed with me everything he was looking for and the treatment. While he was doing that Troy was looking in crawl space and garage for active termite activity and was extremely thorough. He did a great job, too good as he found evidence of active termite tubes. Was able to set up having him come back out in a few days to mitigate the current tubes, he explained to me what he's going to do and what it does. Price point, he's very competitive both on pest control as well as extremely attractive on termite work. read more

contacted them bc my daughter (20) and her friends in their apartment (which doesn't allow pets, but they have a cat!) is overrun with fleas. After several flea bombs from the likes of Lowe's and CVS... still no good. Protekt does not service apartments for obvious reasons for tenants. However they responded within a few minutes with a recommendation for the girls to try. So, I ordered it from Amazon. Even if it doesn't work, definitely appreciate the help and fast response. They could have just said 'no'. read more

I needed a quick treatment, and this company squeezed us into the schedule very quickly. The owner responded super fast and was great at communicating the entire time. The tech also arrived at the time agreed upon, and even texted my husband to let him know he was on the way (as requested by us.) I am very impressed and glad I chose them. This is who we will be doing business with in the future. read more

I hate bugs, but these folks don't mind helping me out with that. They were able to schedule me in relatively quickly and, when I got home, they were already in the crawl space spraying down the creepy crawlies (or at least spraying to keep them out). Very quick, very friendly. He even walked around the exterior and knocked down webs. Being that the eight-legged kinds are my least fave, this was HUGE to me. Invoicing and paying process was super quick and easy. Can't wait to see what terrors lie beneath my new house when they come to check the glue boards in a few months.... read more

I was impressed with Sal who came promptly and went above and beyond what they promised. Did a great job and will have them come quarterly.

I love this company and they do such quality work! I used to use Dodson (which they were good) but nothing compared to Protekt! I found a mouse issue and contacted our service professional and they came right out to take care of the issue. I have had fewer insect issues since switching to them then in the two years I was with Dodson. I highly recommend them! read more

Awesome service and professional advice for a home inspection question that we had about our house. He gave his best advice that certainly was helpful. We will definitely use them again for all future needs. read more

The amount of honesty and integrity in this business is amazing. Protekt Pest Solutions knows their stuff unbelievably well - he knew exactly what I had, described the pests behavior and more over the phone based on only a couple things I told him. I called a couple other places and they said, "Oh, we'll have to have a tech come out to look at it. We're not sure from what you've said." Not only provided one of the best rates, but also could perform the task for less than competitors, AND gave advice on how to deal the problem myself if I were so inclined. Wow! read more

I was able to get Troy scheduled for impromptu VA inspection. He was very thorough. Thank you! Livia Keesee read more

Troy was professional across the board. The Service he provided was done thoroughly. His work ethic is above reproach. He also took the time to answer any questions that we had, as well as shared in his experiences as they related to some of our questions. Enabling us to feel comfortable with asking questions and that our questions were not off the beaten track. I'd refer Troy to others, as well as use him again in a heartbeat! read more

Timely response, great pricing, professional and courteous. They even removed spider webs and a hornet's nest we hadn't discovered yet. Highly recommend them. read more

Previously, I worked with two mainstream pest companies; they were fine and the results marginal. For two years, I resigned myself to the idea that I'll just battle certain pests due to our geography. Finally fed up, I took a different approach and dropped the big names for a local (hopefully more knowledgeable) company. Best decision ever. Troy and his crew are timely, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They know their stuff and I never felt pressured to buy into a contract or purchase additional products/treatments. They were genuinely interested in my specific case and wanted to help me find a solution. The results? So far, so good. I'm already seeing a marked improvement. I suspect the overall results will be better than I've ever seen. I'll update in two months time. Meanwhile, do yourself a favor and give these guys a call. You won't regret it. read more

They are exactly what you are looking for - great service, reasonable prices, very responsive, and great availability. As a lady it can be hard to get someone to give you an honest price and quality service, but Troy exceeded my expectations in every way - he was thorough and got the gross job done. I recommend their services to any of my friends looking for an exterminator and I cannot recommend their services more highly. read more

Very professional, thorough work. Steve helped with a bat in the attic and he immediately saw the problem, a small opening in the screen and he suggested securing the screen during the next evening - problem solved! We have also used him for preventative pest and termite applications. He does a great job and uses natural chemicals inside. He spends a lot of time and answers questions. Really seems to care about doing a great job. read more

I highly recommend Protekt Pest Solutions! We had a termite scare when our next door neighbors discovered they had a termite problem. Troy was very responsive, worked with me to find a convenient time, and provided excellent customer service all along the way. He took time to explain to me what to look for, discussed different treatment & preventative options with me, and did not charge anything for the inspection. I am very satisfied with my experience and will definitely call Protekt Pest Solutions with any pest problems going forward! read more

Honest company, knows what they are doing. Prompt response and reliable. Fair prices. Highly recommend.

Always a great experience with these guys. Their not like other companies at all, they go ABOVE & BEYOND!! Most Pest guys want to RUSH and get the job done and over with. These guys give you a run down on what they do & before they leave (if you're home) they tell you what they saw or everything looks fine. Mr Troy (one of the owners) has to be the nicest guy I've met. If you've got bugs, CALL THESE GUYS... THEY WONT DISAPPOINT!! read more

Prompt and professional service. Replied instantly to my request and came the next day to treat my backyard for fire ants. Steve was very helpful and able to answer all my questions. read more

Very helpful without offering overly aggressive and expensive solutions to problems that don't require a heavy handed approach. The owner explains his ability to assess the problems we encounter and offers his wisdom freely. Highly recommend. Low pressure and very professional. read more

We had an emergency "wasps entering into our bathroom thru our vents" situation and Troy came out same day, talked us through the process and sprayed up in our attic! We'll all sleep a little better tonight knowing those scary suckers are gone!! Troy will be back to exterminate our home quarterly for the best deal we have found! Very satisfied and highly recommend, glad we found someone local to help us out!! read more

HONEST, fair, and knowledgeable. I contacted about 6 other companies through Yelp, but PROTEKT was the only company that offered a cheaper solution (that could have even prevented him getting business!) in lieu of him coming to solve our mice problem. This made us feel at ease that he was the right company for the job. In fact, instead of attempting to upsell, he actually helped us solve our problem for less than quoted. If you are in need of pest, rodent, or wildlife control, I would highly recommend. It's hard to find honest businesses that don't try to sell you a service that is really not needed! THANKS! read more

Very responsive. Great service. They answer all my questions in great detail and make sure to address any concerns I have. I am one happy customer! read more

Steve and Troy were so helpful when we realized we had a massive bat issue. Steve and his helper David did everything humanly possible to get the bats out in a humane manner. Came to my house today and I received excellent service. Not only were they on time but very knowledgeable and super helpful with tips to help prevent things on my own. Also a plus in my book was using pet friendly products which was awesome considering I have 2 pets. Would definitely call them again to help and also recommend them to other people. Also extremely friendly and personable people. read more

Steve Wysocki of PROTEKT Pest Solutions assessed our animal problem very intelligently, was meticulous in explaining his understanding of the problem.
