We brought in Eco Man Pest Solutions to address roaches that appear each summer. We had avoided bringing in outside help until now as we did not want to use toxic substances around our family, but figured we could give this eco and family friendly solution a try although were a bit skeptical. We're several months in to a very hot summer and have been so pleased (and honestly shocked) with the results! We saw two in the first few weeks after the initial application (which can be expected), so with a quick text to their scheduling line, they were back out to do a follow-up sweep around the house and since then we have been roach-free amazingly. They're super easy to work with and schedule, all can be done over text, and Kevin was so friendly, professional, and efficient. I had no trouble with scheduling our initial and follow-up visit, they got back to me right away after my inquiry. Highly recommend! read more

We really enjoyed the service we received from this company but the communication was inconsistent. We were out of town in March when they sent a text saying they would be in our area that and I said that we do it at that time they have in the near. I never heard back after sending more than a dozen text and leaving multiple message. I assume they went out of business but then reading post here perhaps they have not after being a standing customer for nearly 4 years. It's disappointing to not get a return call. I tried every number including the WhatsApp contact and the email. I even entered a request through the email like a new client and still no return response. Product wise I would be very highly and very kind, but I find the lack of response to be highly unprofessional in the service overall unreliable. read more

Kevin knows his bugs! Be patient...it may take a while to get on his schedule but it's worth it. He is a one-man business and you will see him directly. He's very knowledgeable and personable. I saw a few bugs right after he was here, but that is to be expected anytime you stir them up with pest control. My house smells so good, and I love knowing that I am not harming pets or humans! read more

Kevin is so friendly and enthusiastic about his work! I love that there is an eco-friendly option for pest control. I didn't want to hire a pest control group because of the harsh chemicals typically employed, but Eco Man is different! I would recommend this service! read more

I'm new to NC, so when I first saw two little uninvited guests in my kitchen, my brain went to worst case scenario. Kevin was on time, friendly, incredibly knowledgable, polite, and willing to answer all my questions--he even let me show him the pictures of the bugs I had encountered and gave me a quick lesson on the bugs of NC vs the bugs of PA and how climate impacts pest appearance indoors. Perhaps most importantly, however, he calmed my nerves and assured me what we are experiencing is quite normal. The treatment was quick and thorough, and since the spray smells like peppermint, there was no need to hold my breath all day. I would absolutely recommend this business and use their services again! read more

I love working with the Eco man! Instead of poison they use essential oils that make your house smell amazing! Also very friendly and considerate, good vibes. read more

Responded once and then pretty much ghosted me. I was never able to get a quote. They seem to not have enough people working for them and are overwhelmed. Perhaps find someone different read more

Just had Kevin out for the initial treatment - the service was EXCELLENT!!! His professionalism is 10 out of 10 on top of the incredible service. He cleaned out spider webs before the treatment and also treated around our common sitting areas. In addition he really does care about people, taking time to talk about anything that might be weighing you down for the day. :) God Bless Kevin :) read more

Kevin is wonderful - he's nice, comforting (we had a number of different critters around and I was pretty spooked and frustrated), and very knowledgeable and helpful. He responded to my Yelp message within 30 minutes when I initially reached out, and then responded to every subsequent message within in hour at most. He texted when he was on his way, and then was very helpful in identifying potential access routes and then subsequently treating them. It's amazing customer service all around, and I'd highly recommend him. read more

The Eco Man Pest Solutions - Business card since no one needs photos of dead wasps... - Pest Control Near Me - Durham, North Carolina

Kevin, The Eco Man, is fantastic: efficient, professional, responsive - and he took care of our ant problem without fumigating our house with toxic chemicals. Now more than ever, with having to work from home, I appreciate this so much. Our master bath and kitchen were the main ant hubs, which had never been treated before. the house was built 5 years ago; so newish but many crevices. Kevin prepared us of the possibility that we might see a few again, to call him back to top off treatment. And thats what happened. It was included in the initial fee and we haven't seen more since. But he said if we did, to simply call again. He's local and has been in the business for a long time. Slam dunk. read more

I cannot in good faith continue to recommend this company. I retained their service for my 94 year old grandmother and secured an ongoing contract. 2 trips into the contract , they disappeared. The same voicemail claiming to have a shortage of staff that they've had for the past 8 months still plays and, of course, the mail box is still full. I've texted 2 numbers they had on file (910-709-5214 & 910-507-1815) to no avail. As suggested, I visited the website and entered an order. I have not received a phone call, text, email, or anything. It's been days. Now I've got to find another service provider. It's a shame because they were overall rather effective. read more

I recently switched from a big corp pest control to Ecoman because I grew frustrated that it always took 30 minutes to call to talk to a real person with the other company. Too much corporate rigamarole. I also really wanted to support a local business. I spoke with Kevin at length on the phone several weeks ago and felt confident starting service with his company. He is very personable and knowledgable. After our service today, the difference in quality really stood out. I usually sit and work while looking at spiderwebs outside windows that are not easily reached. While I was working just now, I realized that those webs are gone! Tim, who services our area, is also so friendly, and he does a great job. It truly is the details that make the difference. Highly recommend. read more

Kevin is the best!! My husband and I recently bought our first home and we were looking into eco-friendly methods to keep our home pest free, and we could not be happier with Kevin and his business! First, when he does spray your house it smells like awesome rosemary and such after which is a win already. And you might be skeptical like I was in thinking that eco products couldn't possibly keep pests out, but so far for us it has been great! Plus any sign of a pest you can just contact them and they are super responsive and will do free come back services between your quarterly sprays. They spray the inside and outside of your house and can do al pest treatments too if needed. You pay easily online so no cash or checks needed which I like, and really Kevin is just such a nice awesome person to work with! read more

Great experience with Eco Pest Control. Just moved out to North Carolina a few months ago and was searching for a safe, pest friendly (if that makes sense lol) company. I live in an area that was formerly farmland so technically these bugs now "invading" my home used to live here. So while I don't want to completely wipe out the ecosystem that has been established here I need to tame it down close to my front door and around and about where my kiddos play! I love their text program. They text reminders, they text when they're on their way, they text your bill everything text text text (or email) which is great. I'm so busy during the day and get so many unwanted calls it's been great to just text when something is on my mind send and keep on with my day. I have the quarterly service with an add on for mosquitos. There are other services as well that require add on, recently learned red ants and that sort of thing is not in the standard coverage so be mindful of that when calling to get a quote. Ps: I recently met the owner and he knows this business and he knows bugs!! Best combination. Definitely recommend. read more

Left my previous pest company as they sold out to someone who has little care for customer service. Loved this service and what they stand for. My yard smelled great for days after, as a side benefit! read more

Highly recommend! Not only is Kevin a pleasure to talk to, but his pest treatment is effective and non-toxic, for both people and the environment. Kevin has figured out a better solution vs. the chemicals most pest control companies use. It's been easy to correspond with him and book appointments. I love that he reaches out to me when it's time for my quarterly visit. I am excited to be supporting a local business for a great person who also delivers a quality service. read more

Kevin's great, timely, and highly communicative with an effective treatment. It smelled like a lavender farm outside!

EcoMan Pest Solutions became the regular pest control company for our Apex, NC home because of their focus on ecologically friendly methods. It was very challenging to find anyone who doesn't use toxic chemicals. Eco Man's use of essential oils to deal with an ongoing ant problem has done the trick. The ants are gone and stay away with the regular treatments. Ants live outdoors!! And, of course they will always be around. EcoMan gives us good advice about how to keep them out while dealing effectively with those that always insist on looking for a way inside. An EcoMan repesentative comes a few times a year and will treat any particular areas we want. They always consult with us first and will focus on interior/exterior/attic/crawlspace - or any combination of the above. It is reassuring to know that, with EM's help we're not contributing more to the poisons that make their way into water ways. We highly recommend EcoMan pest solutions. read more

I love this company! Same day responses and usually a next day visit! I LOVE that I don't have to interact with automated voice machines! Kevin has been VERY informative, and helpful. I also, appreciate that his chemicals are all natural and safe around my children and pets. My son looks forward to the visits as well as be also gets educated. Our family will continue to have Eco man pest soultions as our mtce, and would highly suggest them to anyone! They go above and beyond! read more

No one wants to call an exterminator, as no one wants any unwanted visitor in their home. While I didn't want to make that call, I am certainly glad I did, and I have found my go to guy to keep my service regular. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The product used does not have that awful chemical smell which is exactly what I want being that I work from home and have pets in the house. Kevin's prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend The Eco Man! Go Pirates! read more

I was thoroughly impressed with this company from top to bottom. They were responsive, easy to book with, communicative, and knowledgeable. Kevin clearly knows tons about insects and how they work, and has a healthy respect for them. He was easy to talk to, easy to work with, and communicated clearly with me about what he needed to help remove the wasps taking up residence in my home. It's nice to know that there are consummate professionals out there breaking stereotypes, providing sustainable services, that are earth and people friendly, in a customer-focused manner. When the UPS man started having to fight his way through a curtain of cobwebs on our front porch, we knew it was time to call in professional pest control. But with a young child and an old dog, we were reluctant to use a commercial pest control company that would spray toxic chemicals all over our house. My Google search for an eco-friendly, non-toxic pest control company led me to Kevin at Eco Man. He answered my phone call on the first ring, and was out at our house within the week. He even texted me on the morning of our appointment to let me know his ETA. When he arrived, he was driving a pristine work truck and was professionally dressed in Kahkis, a polo shirt embroidered with his logo, and dress shoes. Things like that mean a lot, when someone is going to traipse through every nook and cranny of your house. And you wouldn't want to meet a nicer, more knowledgeable guy. I mean, I wanted to invite him to stay for dinner. He spent about 2 hours removing cobwebs from the exterior of our house, and sprayed his blend of essential oils inside and out. Our house smelled amazing. Like a spa. The best thing was that he runs a completely paperless business, and I was able to pay him on the spot with a credit card. We arranged to have him return on a quarterly basis, but he told us that he would come back in between visits at no extra charge if our critters showed up again. Who does that?!? Seriously, I rarely write Yelp reviews, but this guy is the best. read more

Love this business! Kevin first had me at "eco" but then, when he actually came to do the treatment, I now love him as a person too! He seriously might be one of the most friendly guys I've ever met. Kevin is great! He not only came down one day before our appointment (very late in the afternoon) upon my request, but also did a terrific job in spot cleaning, bug repellent spraying, and constructively treating the cracks where bugs and ants could come in. Kevin has been great. My fiance and I live in an older home, where ants and bugs more easily get in through even the smallest of cracks. Our house had not been lived in awhile before we bought it, so the critters began to came out once we moved in. That being said, we have had to have extra treatments after our initial which have been wonderful! The initial treatment smells lovely and if Kevin needs to come back, you can make sure the job will get done. Kevin is a very kind-hearted, efficient, knowledgeable and reliable individual. I recommend Kevin with Eco Man Pest Solutions for his view for our environment and his great products/customer service. read more
