Adam came out and spent almost three hours at the initial appointment at my elderly parents' house, giving us a thorough assessment of the issues their older house had -- including photos of the problems like holes in the structure, etc. They did a great job of getting rid of the bugs, as well as advising how to better insulate. BED BUGS!!! UGH. $2500! Double ugh! Adam to the rescue! I had two quotes to remove the bed bugs and both were over $2000. Then Adam came in and did a thorough inspection, even going into the attic to make sure they were not Bat Bugs. He then offered a quote that was a fraction of the price of the other guys. I had to do a lot to prepare for the treatment (which is needed for any bed bug treatment), but after 2+ weeks, we are bug-free. Adam was clearly very smart and understands how these creatures think. He was easy to work with and I will recommend him to all of my friends and family for any pest issues. He is that good. read more

Halfway through my contract, I changed my phone number, and forgot to update my number with Adams. By the time I remembered, the contract had expired and I had missed the last 2 of 4 quarterly visits/sprays. When I called to inquire about the status of my contract, they informed me that they had tried to contact me, but that the number had changed. No letter. No visit. When I requested one last treatment to make up for the two missed visits, they only offered to write up a new contract, and later agreed to a final treatment. They then ignored a few follow-up calls I'd made in response to their offer to make one last visit to make up for the two they had no problem billing me for. Very poor customer service, dishonorable, and dishonest. Don't bother. read more

I am writing this review after using Adams Pest Solutions services for a year. For those that don't want to read the in-depth review...Adams Pest Solutions has been the most knowledgeable and effective company that I have used for pest control. Using this company has definitely been the best bang for my buck. Adam addressed my issues quickly and effectively...I haven't had a problem since! I would recommend this company to anyone that wants an expert pest control company that goes above and beyond. Now, for the in-depth review, I broke it down into categories that could easily be compared to "other" companies because in the beginning I really didn't know what set one pest company apart from another or what to look for. Time: In the past, I've dealt with companies that had the typical "in/out and we're gone" type of service. I really didn't get to ask any questions and when I did manage to throw in a few questions, the technician couldn't answer them. Not to mention the mystery chemicals they were spraying and the reasons behind it. My appointments with Adams Pest Solutions have been very thorough from start to finish. The technician even took the time to explain what solution he was using and why. At the end of the appointment, I received a detailed receipt of the services that were preformed. Service: The technician was very professional and answered all of my questions/concerns with facts and solutions. He looked at areas where potential problems could start and took action to stop it before it started. For the first time ever of using a pest control company, I was asked if I had any questions about the services preformed or the solutions used; which is great given how the changing seasons affect the type of bug issues I experience. I was also told not to hesitate to give them a call anytime if I experienced any issue between the time of my quarterly services. He did this each time he came to my house. Knowledge: I asked him tons of questions about bugs that I had never heard or seen before. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and from my description was able to explain the type of bug, how they live, what to look for, and how to get rid of them for good. Some of the bugs I've had to deal with include water bugs (bigger roaches), ants (two different types), mosquitoes, and drain flies. Scheduling: Every appointment was easy to schedule and on time. I was able to talk to someone each time that I called. When I called after hours (non-emergency) I always received a prompt call the following day. They were very flexible given my crazy schedule. I am gone for the military quite a bit so it can definitely be a challenge. I was able to schedule my next quarterly appoint in advance and always knew the price. If I ever needed to re-schedule it was easy and I wasn't harassed about it. Indoor: The technician always sprayed the entire house.. I know this might not seem like a big deal but other companies skipped or missed places in their hurry to be done. He also made sure that big furniture or items were moved to be sprayed behind. I really appreciated the fact that the technician always avoided toys and animal dishes that I didn't pick up before he came. He would also check my attic to make sure no bugs moved in since the last quarterly service. Outdoor: The technician sprayed the base of my town home along with the exterior door and window frames. I used to have water bugs (big roaches) coming into the house from my neighbors compost bin. He put a bait trap out beyond our fence that took care of the issue and I haven't had anymore in my house since I contacted this company. Mosquitos were getting especially bad this year to where I couldn't enjoy grilling out or having company over; after Adams Pest Solutions, I don't have that problem anymore. Child / Pet Safe Solutions: I always look for child and pet-safe solutions, because I have 3 dogs and 2 kids that are everywhere and I want the peace of mind to know that they aren't running around in chemicals. Adams Pest Solutions offered me the kind of options I wanted and I was relieved to know that their products were safe as well as effective. Cost: After months of searching for the "best deal" and getting subpar service I can say that I am extremely please with the Adams Pest Solutions. We recently signed up for pest control and a mosquito fog with Adams Pest Control and couldn't be more pleased with the service so far. We did our research and got quotes from all of the usual suspects (Orkin, Terminix and Triangle Pest Control) and Adams beat them all. That said, price isn't the only thing, so it was Adam's knowledge of bugs/industry and his customer service that was the icing on the cake. He is very thorough and answered all of our questions.
