I'm still a fairly new customer of Triangle Pest Control, just a few months now. Yesterday was our first normal, quarterly, return visit for regular pest inspection and treatment. It was also our first annual inspection for termites with TPC, Inc., for our house. Our new service technician, did a great job from all I can tell with the quarterly pest inspection and treatment. He patiently answered all my questions, and I had quite a few. He refreshed baits for traps and sprayed where needed outside. And he spotted how some aphids were going after our crepe myrtle tree and treated for aphid protection accordingly, which is excellent. (I wasn't aware of that prior.) For the annual termite inspection, Shawn convinced us of the value proposition in adding on termite protection to our pest control service contract w/ TPC, Inc. Especially given the rise in termite related property losses in the southeastern U.S., due in no small part to worsening climate change. And given that termite related losses typically aren't covered at all by homeowners insurance policies; and riders for termite bonds are typically not available either from the insurance industry at any price. What's especially impressive to me about Shawn and TPC, Inc., though, is that given my decision on adding termite protection coverage to my services provided by TPC, they hit the accelerator pedal and Shawn came back out to our house today (the next day, in other words!) to install the Trelona ATBS termite bait stations outside around the exterior of the foundation. And the active pesticide ingredient is described by the WHO and the U.S. EPA as very low human toxicity. Triangle Pest Control seems to have a sound approach to termite deterrence. And they've got a great service technician in Shawn, who is super! read more

Triangle Pest Control has provided SUPERB SERVICE since we entered into a contract with them last year, primarily to stop the cockroaches (which they did). However, spring has sprung and we were surprised to see the beginnings of wasp interest on our back deck. One call, and the next day, BAM! Technicians are great and seem to know what they are doing. Management is another story. They send out technicians without advance notice and do not respond to complaints. They also have been known to raise prices without advance notice. If management is replaced they could be a good supplier but if nothing changes then I do not recommend. read more

I rarely make a fuss but I am very irate at this company. I've contracted with them for two years to have termite stations as well as the usual pest control. With my yard more cleaned up and a new fence install, i cancelled my termite service and requested they remove the stations and fill the giant holes with dirt. Not only have they delayed and delayed over removing my the stations (it took them several months to get a tech out here) but they refuse to fill the holes in the yard left by the stations and return my yard to its original condition. Their email to me reads: We do not have the material or tools to be able to fill holes. I am Sorry but we cannot assist will filling holes if the stations are removed. "material" - i've provided clean fill dirt. "tools" - you don't have a shovel? then how did you dig the holes in the first place?!? Very disappointed. read more

We had another yard service that was doing great up until 2 years ago. Our lawn had so many weeds and different grasses, and very brown. We decided to try TPC. We started them in the fall of 2022 and our lawn has never looked this good. Very nice green and all uniformed. We are very satisfied with this company. Also, Jim our lawn tech. communicates very well and is very detailed oriented. I highly recommend this company. read more

Horrible experience and terrible customer service. A solicitor came to our door to promote Triangle Pest Control. He was extremely pushy and refused to give me time to speak to my partner before requiring me to sign up. I was under the impression I could cancel, if needed, after speaking to my partner when he returned from work. I was also told specifically that the technician would NOT be there until after noon the following day. He showed up shortly after 9am, without the guaranteed 30 min notice. This left me without the planned time to read over the information I was sent regarding the service agreement. I was never told about the $250 cancellation fee from the salesman and was told I was sent a text with this information, which I never received (I made sure to check several times). It was in the emailed information, which again I did not have time to review because I was lied to about the time the service would take place. The service was supposed to get rid of ALL webs, bugs, etc from the exterior. It did not. There were still clumps in the corners and edges after the service. Within the next 2 days we saw more spiders inside our home than ever before. We also had a line of ants, which we never had before, right outside our front door, traveling back and forth. I emailed to cancel and explained I was willing to pay the next 2 months to get us to the next service month, since we did receive the first/initial service. This began communication with Rachel. She was very dismissive via email and I was told basically too bad, it's $250 to cancel. I was also told that Triangle has had issues with the contracted out workers going door to door and that "this has been a learning experience". I should not be the one to pay the price for Triangle to learn their lesson. After several unproductive back and forth emails with Rachel we began a phone conversation. Although I was extremely frustrated, I never raised my voice, I explained calmly what I had experience, why I was not satisfied and the happenings of the last few days. Rachel continued to simply say she was sorry for the experience and that it would be $250 to cancel. Becoming completely worn down I eventually agreed and stated that if this was the only option that is fine but it will also come with sharing my experience via review sites. At this point Rachel told me "well that's uncalled for, you need to calm down and we can revisit this conversation". Once again, I never raised my voice. I expressed my frustration professionally and was not given the same courtesy. I addressed Rachel telling me I needed to calm down, to which she replied "sorry, that was a poor choice of words on my part". read more

My review is specifically for their lawn care services, not pest control. I've been contracted with this company for two years. Overall could not be more disappointed with this company and their service. I have asked countless times to get at least one days notice that they will be coming to my home, and 90% of the 3-4 visits per year, I get ~15 minutes notice from the technician once they're on the way. I have been told over and over that I will get a notice next time, and I never do. Most recently, I was given 10 minutes notice for my core aeration service, and when I informed the technician that today was not a good day and my yard was not prepared they told me "this is the last day for the service" and that it would now be skipped for the year. Despite my very expensive subscription including the service, I would not get it, and I would not get a refund... all because they were unable to give me more than 10 minutes notice they were coming. Truly baffling. On top of that, this service is VERY expensive, only to have little to no impact on the quality of our yard. In fact, we just had more sod put down because it was dead after 2 years of working with Triangle Lawn care. Stay far away. read more

Worst company ever! They supposedly serviced my yard numerous times over a six month period and charged me, and my yard still looks terrible! When I complained about it, I was told that I would get a follow up from a gentleman, named Wilson. This man sent an invoice for the work he had done and texted us that he had done it, and there was absolutely no footage of him on our ring cam servicing our lawn. When I reported it to a manager, Rachel, she insisted that I was wrong and that he was reliable, and she was extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional!!! I was willing to even give it some time, and she condescended me to the point where I ended up canceling my service because I just can't tolerate that level of unprofessionalism and terrible customer service! This is a horrible company. They make you sign a one year contract and only come every couple of months and don't even do a real service, they just leave a tag on the door. I sold my property and still couldn't cancel my contract without paying a large fee of $250. I only had 4 months left so it didn't make sense to cancel and I would have rather just paid the rest of the contract, but I still had to pay the $250 fee to cancel, this makes the company seem like a total rip off. If I don't own the property anymore why would I continue a service on that property? I will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know that this is how they treat their customers. read more

I would NOT RECOMMEND Triangle Pest Control at 919-809-6278. We have moved out of the house to a condo complex and no longer needing their services but they refused to cancel the service and forcing us to continue receiving their service at $39.00 per month when we no longer need it and actually no longer receiving it due to the fact we are in condo complex now. I have called number 919-809-6278 and talked to a female rep named Morgan - a very unpolite lady. Triangle Pest Control at 919-809-6278 refuses to cancel because of a contract we signed on iPad for 18 months so we must continue paying $39.00 per month for the next year or so until our 18 months contract expires. I tried explaining that moving out of a house toa condo complex should be considered as live changing even and Triangle Pest Control at 919-809-6278 should cancel the service/contract in such event as there is nothing for them to service but they insist that we have signed contract and we MUST continue paying for the service we no longer receive.
