I am extremely disappointed... like EXTREMELY disappointed. We have recently gotten a cockroach infestation and I have an irrational fear of bugs, which is why I instantly took to the internet to find a good exterminator. Found these guys with a 4.9 star rating on Google Reviews and decided it was worth a shot. The first time our exterminator came over it went smoothly and we woke up the next morning with over 20 dead. I was then charged again a few weeks later and suspected that he came back to spray more of the house, but I wasn't notified or anything. Plus our "great" exterminator hasn't responded to emails or texts. On top of all this, the population hasn't decreased whatsoever and instead seems to be increasing steadily. Those 20 bugs that died seem to be nothing compared to how many there are. Their whole saying is that it can take awhile because they groom themselves every 48 hours and then they ingest the poison or whatever. I might as well just take some hair spray and mow these guys down (which is more affective than what this company has done). I came downstairs to see 8 of them (all over an inch) having an orgy in my kitchen. I want to burn my house down and I'm really upset for the amount of money we paid for absolutely nothing to happen. They spray the outside and yet all of them are INSIDE! They're living the dream in here, nothings been able to kill them so far and there's food for them in here. Please, please, please help me understand why you can't do anything inside the house where the actual problem is?! Unfortunately I created Yelp just to warn others about this terrible company. My HOA selected them for our termite protection, but when I got termites, I found out their warranty doesn't cover damages, just more treatment (which didn't stop me from getting termites in the first place). I'm sure they're nice people, but termite protection that doesn't cover damages seems worthless to me. read more

Customer service has always been good but they're turning into Time Warner Cable- they keep 'bundling/adding additional services' that I don't want and then hiking up their prices! I just want my yard sprayed for mosquitos... not African brown beetles, Tibetan ticks or Tasmanian devils! I won't be using them anymore or referring them again. We were under attack and Triangle Pest Control saved us. We moved into our house and were having major spider issues. Inside, outside, everywhere. One day, spiders had built webs over EVERY SINGLE DOOR to the house. It was terrible. I contacted a few companies and chose TPC. Their price was on par with other companies, and they were the most professional and courteous. Scheduling was easy, and they came out the same day I called them. Our bug guy showed up and knocked down all the spider webs and sprayed inside and out. Its been 3 months and life is so much better now. The occasional bug gets inside, but since we live on the edge of the woods, that it to be expected. Major difference from before. read more

We just started using Triangle Pest Control and are very happy with the service so far. I called after they had closed one evening, and left a voicemail. We had ants coming into the house through an electric socket and our home is currently on the market, so we were freaking out! I've called other vendors (not necessarily pest control) and left messages before and NEVER received a response. I don't alway expect the best customer service from companies like these. So imagine my shock when I received a return call from them early the next morning! Chalk one point for TPC! I spoke with Kyle, who was extremely helpful in explaining how their service works and my choices. I was nervous we would have to wait a few days and handle the any issue on our own with traps, but they were able to send someone here same day! What?! I was told I would receive a call about 20 minutes before their service technician got here. I got a call from Ryan, the tech around Noon, letting me know he would be here at 1pm. Guess what! He was here at 1pm! He was super friendly and very professional. He went through the service again, explained the contract and answered all of my questions. He was quick and efficient in doing the inside and outside of the home. They even knock down cobwebs on the outside of the house, around the windows! We're getting ready to move to a new home and I plan to transfer my service with them. Highly recommended! read more

I noticed fleas in my house after my foster kittens were adopted. I bought some flea bombs and tried to get rid of them myself but, unfortunately, they came back. When I called TPC, they were very friendly and scheduled someone to come out the next day. Ryan was my technician and he was super friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the service and what I would need to do to ensure the fleas did not come back, and then immediately got to work. So far, the place is flea free! read more

Triangle Pest Control is both efficient and friendly. The people you talk to on the phone are ready to get down to business and help get you set up for whatever it is you need. We had a lot of spiders and other critters because the home we bought had been vacant. Triangle Pest Control came out very quickly and started erradicating the bugs and protecting the house. When we saw some more three weeks later they came out THE NEXT DAY FOR FREE and we have been bug free since. The technician is very helpful and listens to all of our concerns and addresses them. I have been with this company for several years. They now decide to raise their rates, without letting customers know. Those on Auto Pay just get a new amount without warning. They also charge your account the day before the agreed upon billing date. I will be looking for another service provider when the world returns to normal. I live in Raleigh. Had a Camelback Cricket problem here at the house. There were hundreds of them in the crawlspace and they started coming up into the house. I HATE Camelback Crickets, they gotta go! TPC took care of that in a New York second. I later got their termit monitoring service, which will tell me if any termites even start to get close to my house. Last year, we added the Mosquito protection plan, but I'm not sure how effective it is - I'm still getting bit. So that's Pest Control, Termite Control and Mosquito Control. I'm a fan of this company. Terrific people, both the office and the field personnel. Highly recommend these folks. read more

We live in a pretty woodsy area with lots of nature around us, but Triangle Pest Control keeps our house critter-free, and our lawn free of mosquitoes. The service professionals are always highly knowledgeable. This was demonstrated to us when we moved in and brought a moth problem with us from another state. Only Triangle knew a variety of strategies to kill the moths and eggs in my yarn stash, keep my wool safe from re-infestation, and repel any new potential troublemakers. He apologized and was very sincere about his concern for my satisfaction with the process of setting up the service as well as its effective quality. I was definitely impressed that management took the time to address my concerns. He was not tacky and did not ask me to change my review. He also offered an additional service to what I already paid for in order to please me. This was unexpected on my part and have never had an experience like this before. Obviously this company cares about pleasing their customers. I will update my review and give a full 5 if the barrier spray is effective. Just set up my first apt for a mosquito barrier spray. I would first like to state I am veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I had the worst service I have ever had from any company in all of my life dealing with one of your technicians. The technicians name was Mike. He first showed up to my home 45 minuets with no phone call to inform me. After that, I informed him of the area of concern that he seemed very uninterested in solving. The area was in my basement where I was having a roach intrusion. He was in the basement for 5 minutes and said he was done(I should inform you he had a strong undertone of alcohol on his breath). After I told him it was a very bad problem, he stated he was the expert who left... After this, I knew I was going to get no where and told him he can leave. Again, this was such bad service that I informed everyone in my neighborhood never to use your company again. read more

No where on their website does it say that you have to sign a year contract in order to get the service, but be warned, that is what you have to do to get them to come out. No truth in advertising here! I am tempted to contact the BBB. That information should be fully disclosed on their webpage. You don't find out until they send you an email with a contract to sign (after you have already booked your first appointment and paid for it and the 2nd one) and they call you to get your credit card number for the monthly services for the REST OF THE YEAR. We wanted to leave a note of thanks for our service on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Jacob is always very patient and thorough. On Saturday, he tried calling us but was unable to reach us. He came out to the house anyway, and when he finally reached us - we were still 15 minutes from home. We had a lot of issues trying to get him in the house and our phone was barely working. We finally resolved the issue, but it took a lot of patience on his part while we worked everything out. Even after having taken a lot of his time, he still took time to explain everything and make sure we didn't have any other issues. My partner and I rent half of a duplex, and our landlord has a contract with Terminix for pest control services. We've lived here a year, and Terminix has never adequately controlled our problem with roaches in the kitchen and living areas, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I did some research and decided to call Triangle Pest Control. The receptionist was friendly, knowledgeable, and got us scheduled very quickly. Scott arrived right on time, answered tons of questions about his training and the chemicals he uses, asked the right questions to determine what kind of roaches we had, and did a thorough job of treating the inside and outside of our home. Ants appeared in my kitchen during the recent 2-week rain. Have not had ants often in the 35 years we have lived here, and when we did they were not hard to get rid of with home treatments. These ants would not leave. I called them roach ants because we saw just a few of them in daylight but in the morning when we got up, hundreds had come out while it was dark and made a mass foray into our kitchen garbage. I was literally putting scraps into sealable bags in order to throw it into the garbage can. Emptied the garbage several times a day. Decided that getting rid of the ants was a job for the professionals. Called Triangle Monday, they came Tuesday, and Wednesday we could put garbage in the kitchen garbage can like normal people. Their employee who treated for the "roach ants" said they were ordinary ants. I am not so sure. Could have been some sort of mutant, that close to Halloween. I'm new to the area and just purchased a house that is set back in the woods. For the first 2 weeks in the house I couldn't use the front door because of so many wasps. A few days ago Dallas, the technician, came out and found and knocked down about 20 wasp nests. He went above and beyond to help get rid of these pests. Total misleading company. Triangle Pest Control does not pick up animals that get cough in traps that they set and they do not tell you that. They also tell you that you get special pricing because you are a return customer when it is really because you are locked in for the year. Total waste of money. read more

I have been using Triangle Pest Control in Cary, NC for over a year, and they are great. We pay a small monthly fee, and they come out to spray 3 times per year. They will come out between scheduled visits as well if needed, you just need to call them up, and they come out. We moved into an old home that had tons of cockroaches, and they came out 3 times in 6 weeks, and the problem went away. Then I had an ant issue and they came out twice in two weeks...ants gone! The service tech is very nice and knowledgeable, and never has any issues when we ask him to go above and beyond what he should probably be doing. Very easy to deal with and at a reasonable cost. My ant problem was gone in a few days after the first treatment. They also take care of the spider nets, although they missed a few during the first visit. You sign a contract for a year, and that gives me three scheduled visits and unlimited call-ins as needed.
