We have them spray with a organic spray, thus not killing butterflies and bees. They are by far the best service we've ever had. This has been a banner year for mosquitoes, and if they needed to come out more than once during the time period in our contract, they did so willingly and without extra fees. Their employees are courteous and thorough.They don't claim to kill ticks, but we have not had any since they began doing spring to fall three years ago. Before that, we'd both had tick diseases almost yearly. We recommend Mosquito Tek highly. read more

Extremely disappointed with service to date. We have been with this company for over 15 years and have always been happy with the customer service an attention to detail. A photo of our home is even on the companies website. In April 2026 we renewed our service contract with and paid in full for the season, April - Oct. $850. To date they have not completed the April treatment and have not responded to numerous voice messages left at both the Raleigh and Durham phone number as well as several email messages. read more

As with the other reviewer, we have been with this company for over 10 years. We have always been happy with the service, however, this year there is something odd going on. It is almost the middle of May and we have yet to have a treatment (usually starts the end of April). Communication/emails/phone calls are going unanswered. This was my 14th year using Mosquito Tech. I paid in advance for the entire season. it went fine until Sept. 12, 2025. I received a notice saying my lawn would be done. I was here all day. Mid day i received the notice of completed service. No one had been in the yard all day. I've sent emails and called, no one answers. I had paid for 2-3 more applications on my contract. i cannot recommend them ever again and will search for a new company. my guess is they have gone under. DO NOT USE! I am extremely frustrated with mosquito tech Durham. We have used this service for several years and they have been great. The last months things seem to have collapsed. The our last treatment we were notified that the agent came, but we were here and it never happened. I have a bad mosquito problem now and I have been calling many times leaving messages, I even drove to the address listed on the website and could find no sign of this business there. Maybe it's just a postal address. In the past we would always get a return communication of some sort. I have paid in advance for the seasons service and so I have no ability to stop payment. I highly recommend no one uses this service any longer. A quality service no longer. read more

I signed up for the bucket system this spring, and paid $480.00 for the initial install, and then the reoccurring service every 30 days was to be $160.00. Things were going OK until June. I did still have mosquitos, but thought it needed more time. But my buckets haven't been serviced since June 27th. They have scheduled me three times since then and never showed up for service. One of those times the tech texted me and told me that "his boss man keeps scheduling these service appointments, knowing that they don't have the product in stock to service the system". I know that things happen, but they won't return phone calls, and all calls go to voice mail. So, I canceled my agreement and hired a well know exterminator. They only charge $50 per bucket for initial set up ($$280.00 less than MosquitoTek) and $130.00 for service. They also said that the buckets didn't contain the "floater" that the mosquitos land on, so the buckets were never working properly. I had open the buckets to see what was inside, and there was no floater. read more

We've been using Mosquito Tek for years at two different houses to control our mosquitoes. The technicians and other employees are super friendly, great at communicating with us, are willing to re-spray if there are any problems, and will easily reschedule if the weather conditions aren't cooperating. We've used them for both the organic spray (which is fine but usually needed an additional spray between scheduled sprayings) as well as their normal spray, which works for many weeks. We've had two other pest control companies visit us doing door to door sales last year...looking to replace our current vendor (Mosquito Tek) and each time we've turned them away. The primary reason for sending them away is because of experiences we continue to have with the Mosquito Tek team. Sure, the market has plenty of competitive vendors... but this is a service and the customer experience is equally as valuable as the product itself. Cesar, Carlos, and other reps' visits each month further solidified that decision to stick with your team. They are always extremely courteous, professional, detail oriented, and go out of their way to hear our concerns, help educate us, and made us feel confident and comfortable with the plans to address our latest pest issues. I'm not sure if they do special customer service training (beyond just the technical training) as part of their onboarding or simply hiring stellar staff... but whatever it is, keep it up! He followed up after he was done spraying to let me know it started raining toward the end of his treatment & to call for a respray if we have any issues after the rain. We bought a deal for gutter cleaning, and were able to get Mosquito Tek on the schedule right away. Then, by surprise, I was not so happily awakened by the sound of [up-on-the-rooftop, click-click-click] men tromping around and leaf blowers at full blast at 7am this morning. I quickly realized the crew had come a week in advance of our scheduled date, when hubby saw he'd received a text message from the company informing him they were able to fit us in ahead of time. Since payment had already been accounted for, they took care of the job without needing us. It was done in about an hour, and we discovered -- to our surprise -- they bagged and removed the debris that was pushed out of the gutters IN ADDITION to leaves that had been collecting in an ugly mass on our deck all season long. The only thing that remained for us to clean up were the wet matted leaves and dirt on the deck that dried up later in the day, and were easy to sweep away. Quick, easy, affordable service that I wouldn't hesitate to use again. Much better than putting hubby's neck on the line by having him ascend the second-generation wonky-footed ladder we own! read more

We bought a Mosquito Tek LivingSocial deal for gutter cleaning. I half-expected them to arrive and try to up-sell us on additional services but that did not happen. We were told that the earliest available appointment was about a month out but that they might be able to fit us in sooner. Sooner actually became a couple days later when the gutter cleaning crew showed up at 7:30am. I was warned that it would probably be an early appointment so this was not a problem. I was just happy to see/hear all of the work going on while I got to lay in bed a little longer. The crew did an excellent job. They used blowers to clean the leaves out of the gutters and had guys on the ground picking up the debris. After it was all done, there was less debris on the ground than when they started, which was a pleasant surprise. The gutters no longer contained the piles of Fall leaves. My deck which was buried in leaves was now visible. The person that I spoke to when scheduling the appointment was very friendly. I got an awesome deal and would be happy to do business with them again. It was certainly much easier than cleaning the gutters myself. read more

Their service-persons are very sensitive to any problem areas on your property and are good at remembering those areas and making sure those areas are given special attention. I use Mosquito Tek for -- surprise surprise -- mosquito control and am really pleased with the difference it makes in the usability and enjoyment of my yard. Does it mean there is never going to be a mosquito in your yard? No. But it does mean I can be in my yard (with no repellent on) and not end up with dozens of mosquito bites within 10 minutes. MosquitoTek, LLC has been a lifesaver for us! We live in the neighborhood beside the Rainbow soccer fields, where there is a swamp right behind our home. We have a serious mosquito problem in this area. Without MosquitoTek, we would not even be able to go outside between April and October without their service. They come every 21 days and will come back if we have extra issues during the summer. Their technicians have been super nice and offer suggestions to help us! I'm very impressed - after an initial hiccup in service, I give Mosquito-Tek 5 stars for how they responded. It was my first time using a mosquito control service so i wanted to be there when the technician arrived to discuss my dog and my edible plants. The schedule got rearranged without my knowledge, and he called to say he was coming early. I was in a meeting so missed his call and he had already sprayed my yard by the time i reached him. When I called to talk with the manager, they went out of their way to make it right - they credited me for the cost of the organic soil and basil plants that I am going to replace because I wanted to cover them before they sprayed. This is not supposed to be necessary, but i am very concerned about chemicals and health, and they respected my sensitivity about this. Cat, the office manager was very kind and helpful about the mishap. She also offered to have a technician come to my house to answer any questions and retreat any areas that I had a concern about. Everyone makes mistakes now and then....it's how a company responds that separates an average company from a really good one. In my experience so far, Mosquito-Tek is one of the good ones! read more

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Mosquito Tek. I signed up for both gutter cleaning and yard leaf removal. I was assured that I would receive photo confirmation that the gutters were cleaned and that the leaf cleanup would include removal of all bagged leaves. We set a date to do this and they failed to show up. They called a few days later to say that they were running behind and would do it that day while I was at work. When I came home, I saw about 15 bags of leaves sitting on the edge of my property. No one came by to pick them up for several days, so I called the company. I still hadn't received photos from the gutter cleaning either. No one returned my phone call so I called again. And again. And again. Two months later, and the bags are still sitting on my property, I haven't received those photos and no one has called me back. After leaving 5 messages through email and the phone, I've given up. read more
