The lady that answered the phone wouldnt let me talk to a specialist, she just kept asking me if I wanted someone to come and treat the house! Its very complex whats going on at my brothers house. He has infestations of earwigs, several species of aunts, one of which is a colonization of imported red fire ants. I believe its all stemming from the giant ponderosa pines lining his property that are sick. She said they only exterminate inside the house. They dont do trees, Id have to get a landscaper! I told her that I had a forestry specialist coming to advise about the trees and that I was calling Orkin to address the infestations of the various species of ants, earwigs and several small dead snakes ive found on sidewalks in past couple days. that the insects were a result of the sick trees and I needed to talk to a pest specialist about the infestations. she said they dont do trees, that she could send someone out to treat the house!! Grrrr! I told her I needed to speak to a specialist that could understand what im dealing with and she said she could send one out to treat house! I told her that by just trying to sales pitch me and not letting me talk to someone that knows what they are talking about lost a possible good steady customer! Then I hung up. my brother has had a steady exterminator coming in here for years and the guy did not do anything for all these infestations! Never even mentioned any of these issues or noticed or remedied even the earwigs that are all through his house! I assume they went out of business but then reading post here perhaps they have not after being a standing customer for nearly 4 years. It's disappointing to not get a return call. I tried every number including the WhatsApp contact and the email. I even entered a request through the email like a new client and still no return response. Product wise I would be very highly and very kind, but I find the lack of response to be highly unprofessional in the service overall unreliable.

Yes, they do make you sign a contact but you're given all the info up front about cancellation fees, quarterly charges, etc. we're currently renting anyways so the year of applications will work out perfectly! The technician who came to treat/spray was super quick. In some instances, I thought he could have spent a little more time spraying ALL nooks and crannies. I know we have a lot of stuff in our garage right now but I highly doubt he covered much area bc he was in and out so fast. (Due to spiders, I would have liked a little more coverage). And I thought the sales guy said they would spray in the cabinets under the sinks and I don't recall seeing him do that. I have only seen like, one ant and maybe 2 spiders inside since the initial spray. (I f-ing HATE spiders!) I like that the treatment works on all types of insects. This mistake ultimately led to our account being sent to collections! The result was days of frustration, working with a collection agency and our bank from another country to untangle the mess. Initially, everyone suspected fraud, but it turned out to be Home Team's error--and they refused to fix it. Here's what happened: After years of paying yearly, in October 2024, they switched our account to a monthly plan and began billing us monthly without authorization. Monthly $27 charges went through initially. Then, in December, they realized their mistake and credited us back the money. This resulted in our account to go from "good standing" to "past due" in an instant, instead of resolving the issue --they sent us to collections! Home Team claims they tried to contact us by phone and mail, but we were out of the country, had a mail hold in place, and were not using our US sim card. When we finally spoke to their representative Tracy T., she was rude, unapologetic, and skirted all responsibility. Only after pointing to evidence from our bank, did she admit their error in billing. Despite acknowledging that they had billed us without proper authorization, then credited us the money and sent us to collections: they offered no resolution, no help, and no responsibility for the damage they caused. As a result of their incompetence, our credit score has taken a significant hit, and we were left to deal with the aftermath on our own from another country.
