Every time we go there we have great service and delicious food the ribs are delicious and the chicken pot pie is the best I've ever had

My husband and I ate at Truffles in Bluffton for Valentines Dinner. We were promptly Seated in a cozy booth and a very pleasant waitress named Jasmine came over to introduce herself and take our drink order. We enjoyed our drinks and then put in our entree order. This was for my in laws 51st Anniversary and it was only 7 of us and we had our own private little room. It was so nice and we didn't expect that. Our server was so nice and was always asking if we needed anything as well as all the other ladies that were helping her.. And, they all wished my in laws a Happy Anniversary! Everyone loved their meals ( chicken pot pie, meatloaf, filet mignon, curry chicken salad, baby back ribs and burgers) and we will definitely be back. Thank you. : ) read more

I am a frequent dinner at Truffles Bluffton. Two recent things of note - both reflective of excellence: 1. The salmon cakes are absolutely terrific. they have been a "special" for many months. it would be great to see them as a regular item on the menu. Kudos to those involved in the preparation of the salmon cakes. 2. The service by Brooke. She exudes excellence and class. Her warm smile and demeanor, as well as her smart and gracious service mark her as the epitome of hospitality, making the time at Truffles an overall joyful experience. Great private rooms for large party! We actually didn't reserve a private room but it was probably smart on their part since we had so many kiddos. However the food was just so so- the best part of the meal was the baked Brie appetizer but the flavors didn't match up for what you received for the price. The service was pretty good considering how large our party was but they did take a while.. long dinner and with kids it wasn't a good combination... I had the bbq salmon which I probably should have known would be a little strange since it's a salmon with bbq flavor which in concept is just strange. My husband had the coconut shrimp and enjoyed it... kids meals are decently priced but no fried shrimp option like other restaurants in the area. A relatively small menu. This is my sister in laws favorite place so perhaps I just had super high expectations. Environment and service was good-- food was slow though... friendly employees.. perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing- would try something else next time. read more

We moved to Bluffton 9 mos ago and while I've driven past and seen Truffles Cafe, we didn't try it until last night (for dinner). We loved it! We made a second reservation before we left. The ambiance is cozy (inside)--nice lighting, server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Drinks were delicious and well balanced. Highly recommended the truffle Parmesan fries and the ahi tuna salad. Truffles Cafe might just be a our new go to restaurant! read more

Me and my family decided to come here for Mothers Day, and we couldn't be seen except in the private room but it was reserved for 1:30 so we would have been rushed. So we decide to leave. Upon leaving another family came in without reservations and was immediately seated outside. I am so embarrassed that my ethnic family could not get seated. read more

Went here for a family brunch. We were about 26 people. Food was good. I had the crab cake. It was delicious and served with fries and delicious slaw not drown in mayo. Another had the salmon and enjoyed it. We were seated in booths, and tables. However I don't know what anyone else ordered although a few were disappointed saying their entree was dry. Truffles in Bluffton has become one of my favorite restaurants in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area. Their food is so on point. The curry chicken salad is a work of genius. I don't know who came up with that recipe, but it is one of the best salads I have ever had. The tomato dill is also amazing. All of their sandwiches are awesome, love the cuban, great burger, etc. I cannot say enough good things about the staff there, including the two managers, who I still cannot tell apart. The servers are usually college aged kids, who must have been plucked from the same pool where Chick-fil-a gets their employees. So personable and polite. It is refreshing to see given the current state of our country. Anyone who has given this restaurant a bad review, does not understand what quality food is supposed to taste like and I am assuming there was something else that they did not like, because it could not have possibly been the food or the service. I will continue to frequent this restaurant. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! read more

Nice ambiance for a shopping plaza location. Very good service. The menu is limited, but we stopped in because it was on the way to where we were headed and had coconut shrimp (which was good). Normally, I prefer more of a local flare in both menu and ambiance, but this was convenient with a nice atmosphere, decent food and good service. read more

Truffles is a solid choice while in the crowded area. This location is quite large - and there is not enough parking for all of the businesses in this strip mall. There are private rooms suitable for business meetings or parties. The bar did not appear to be too lively and it's basically between the entrance and the kitchen (i.e not separated). There is a decent amount of outdoor seating too. "The food?" you ask. There are several unique and scrumptious choices. The tomato or onion soups are superb. There are quite a few entree style salads, complete with optional chicken or salmon. Our customer's salad has a piece of salmon that could have been an entree itself. I was tempted by the grilled pimento cheese sandwich, but instead went for the spinach quiche with mescalin greens and french fries. There honestly are quite a few dishes I would love to try if/when I return. The last Yelp I'll make about Truffles is how awesome our server was. When we arrived on time for our lunch meeting, he brought our drinks and offered us appetizers while we waited (which we declined). Our customer was quite late, but our server was very patient and refilled our drinks MANY times during our two hour lunch seating. We never felt rushed and he was attentive throughout the meal. My husband and I come to Truffles for every date night. When walking into a restaurant we usually see a happy smiley host welcoming us in. The last three dates we've spent with you, including tonight, we were greeted by a grouchy host. Not even a hello. Didn't even look up from the stand until my husband cleared his throat.
