The menu at lunch is selective but offers a full array of salad sandwiches pizzas and pastas. The dinner menu is much more extensive. This deserves all five stars. First time diner! Came for lunch with friends. The interior is adorable and the bar is gorgeous. There's an open kitchen design so you can watch the pizza oven. My sister and I shared a funghi pizza and a margarita. The mushroom was delicious, but super-rich. Dare I say, less cheese might be better. I absolutely loved the simple flavors of the margarita pizza and determined it to be exquisite. The Neopolitan crust is marvelous! Friends had the chicken pesto orecchiette and The Godfather sandwich. The pesto dish was beautiful and the pesto was mild--more pine nutty than basil. Needed more parm in my friend's opinion. I thought the burrata was amazing. The sandwich was a huge meat bomb and was accompanied by a side salad. I'd go back to try many other entrees and I'll sit at the bar, which felt more intimate. Called 4 times for a take out order before anyone answered the phone. The young lady said they did not have any of the salads that were online but that they had an asparagus salad. Ordered the "asparagus salad and a pizza" I arrived to a non busy night, pizza was cold, bland and very under wellming, as was also the asparagus salad (not a salad at all) bland, no flavor, disappointing. It's difficult to find real Italian food in this area unfortunately. read more

We walked in and we're immediately greeted by Carson. We sat at the bar and started with an old-fashioned and a strawberry fields. We decided to start with arancinis. We then split the fig and pig which was perfectly balanced and delicious. We got two pizzas to bring left overs home. They were both full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We also took cannolis to go. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We especially liked the cards in the bathroom that said if this needs to be taken care of hand to a staff member, it shows that they care. Their lunch menu is only appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. We both wanna go back for dinner.. it was really fun celebrating my sister's birthday there today. read more

I have been eyeing Joelle on Instagram since they opened 10 months ago. I finally made the trip out to Bluffton from Savannah for a late lunch and I'm so glad I did! The restaurant was gorgeous and even had parking. We were immediately greeted and were able to pick our own table. The restaurant was quiet so the service was quick and efficient. We only ordered soda water and 2 pizzas, so the food came quick as well. I had the margarita pizza and it was delicious. The crust and sauce are made in house and you can taste how fresh it all is. The pizzas were served stacked on a tower. I love when restaurants do this to preserve the table space! I can't wait to return and try their house made pastas next time! The dinner menu and lunch menus are different. There is a window into the kitchen and we were able to watch the chefs prepare this evenings spaghetti. read more

I ordered the Chicken Pesto Orechietta because two weeks ago on Sunday, after church, my husband and I went to have lunch with friends and one of them ordered the Chicken Pesto Orechietta. It looked and tasted so good with generous pieces of chicken. Today, I looked forward to ordering that dish and was very disappointed..... it was all pasta with just a very few of the tiniest pieces of chicken (altogether making no more than a combined one inch cube)....this serving was definitely not worth the $22 price. Very nice place. Food was very good. I had the veal chop that was excellent. It was served with a steak knife but you could cut it with your fork. Served with a bright arugula salad. My wife had the Bucatini and it was fresh and very tasty. We sat a booth at the bar. I would recommend sitting at the bar or get a normal table over this. Service was a bit slow but very friendly and helpful. Overall a solid experience, we will return. read more

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. It's peaceful (lunch time), menu varies seasonally and the food is always exceptional and unique. Today I had the Mortadella sandwich: pistachio spread (yum!), arugula and stracciatella (hand-pulled shreds of fresh mozzarella mixed with rich, sweet cream) on Ciabatta bread. For my beverage, I ordered the non-alcoholic sparkling reisling (Eins Zwei Zero), which was amazingly delicious. It was all scrumptious! 5-11-24 8:15 reservation Called for reservation and was able to get an 8:15 PM. Once we arrived parked out front at no additional charge. Inside the place was hopping for a Saturday night. We were seated at a table outside. It was actually cooler inside the restaurant so I preferred the warmer alternative. A person came over and gave us water I was surprised he was also the server. We ordered two appetizers to share Arancini and Roman Gnocchi the sauces that accompanied these dishes were over the top amazing. Next we both ordered pizzas unfortunately there was a mistake and I received Bolognese instead of the mushroom pizza. I was hungry and cold so said I will eat it. Truthfully I can eat any pizza except I truly prefer those without meat. The server was extremely apologetic but no worries this is a new business and obviously still has to work the bugs out. I may be getting older but the gentleman that showed us to our table as well as our server both look to be in high school still. They both did great plus it is extremely difficult to get people to work in hospitality. Once the appetizers arrived we had no silverware nor napkins so I got up to get them for us. Our server said they were short on silverware this evening. The main thing was the food was good. They tried to do their best being it is a new business they are still working out the kinks. We had dinner at Joelle's a few weeks ago and were very impressed with the food and the waitstaff. The seating was spacious both inside and outside. We had a reservation for 4 and were seated promptly when we arrived. We ordered several appetizers including a prosciutto and soft cheese disk that was just amazing. For main course we had beef brisket, ravioli, chicken and pasta. The Easter was exceptionally knowledgeable, polite and attentive...he should open a school on how to wait tables. Another review from a nobody who isn't a chef. Bottom line: Joelle is the most authentic Italian food you're going to enjoy between SC and GA. Possibly a good portion of the southeast too. Pasta is made in house. Pizza is wood fired. We went one day for lunch, and the server we had (same server for dinner, I'm sorry I can't remember his name, young guy with brown curly hair) was an amazing server! Great at selling dinner and always kept glasses full without being on top of us the whole night! Lunch: The pizza is crisp and thin, with amazing flavor and you can't go wrong with any one you pick. If you don't order and enjoy the polenta fries, just leave. You tasteless *itch. Dinner: If you skip the pasta you're a fool, I will not apologize for saying it. As far as the entrees, we enjoyed them but when you're striving for greatness there is always something that can be worked on, and that's it. Chicken saltimbocca and short rib were great but did not match the rest of the food we experienced. Other things: amazing cocktails, whoever picked the color scheme, table layout, and designed the bathrooms (kudos to you, you designer, it's fabulous!) 10 out of 10 for Joelle. Joelle is newer to the Bluffton area. I think it's opened a little over a year. I had lunch here with a friend. The service was great. We ordered a pizza and the prosciutto burrata on focaccia bread sandwich. Both were delicious!!! The venue has a nice vibe. Nice abs bright. They do offer outdoor seating. There is also bar seating. I'm planning to go again soon with my husband. Maybe for dinner!!! I think Joelle will be around for a long time. The pricing is around $15.00 per entree. Had dinner with friends at Joelle last night. A testament to how good the food was - I didn't get around to taking a picture until my dessert (chocolate strawberry martini). I had the bucatini - delicious! Others at the table had the mint fava bean ravioli; cioppino; hangar steak; rigatoni alla norma; and a pasta dish with sole (forget the name!). Everyone loved their meals! The tiramisu was appreciated by those who had it (my dessert was the martini!). Service was spot on. And a real bonus - the restaurant was full, but the acoustics were very good and we could actually talk with each other! Highly recommend! read more

Six of us decided to visit Bluffton today. We shopped a bit and popped into a pub for drinks. Couldn't decide where to eat lunch and then saw reviews for Joelle. It was surprising not crowded at 12:30 this afternoon and they had no problem seating us. What a great decision we made! The food was very good. Arancini appetizer was shared by a few at the table, they raved about it. I had the arugula salad, which was excellent. Pizzas were delicious and I was thrilled they had a GF option.
