My wife and I were looking for some good authentic Italian food close to home with vegetarian options. Bricco checked all the boxes. Someone had also posted on a local social media regarding their service and quality of food. Reservations are STRONGLY suggested. We were lucky to get same day reservations--- but at 5 pm when they open. That worked out very well for us. When we arrived, another large party had arrived for their larger party room where they have a huge wine collection. We were seated at a booth across from the bar. The bar also had "reserved" signs. We were quickly offered tap or bottled water as well as bar beverages. My wife ordered a glass of Malbec while I had my classic Bombay Sapphire martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. Full martini glass and perfect!! Hot homemade baked bread came shortly after. Travis was our waiter for the evening and presented the specials as well as asking about appetizers or salads. My wife ordered the Insalata Del Sud which is the arugula salad while I ordered the Bricco Cesare which is their version of Caesar Salad, but with 3 nice shrimp as opposed to anchovies. My wife's salad had a lemon vinegrette which she said was very perfect and not overdone. My dressing was perfect as well. Fresh ground pepper added from a 3 foot peppermill--- quite amusing. For the main course, I had the Rigatoni Bricco which was nicely sauced and perfectly done rigatoni with shrimp, calamari and olives. Nice portion and great flavor. My wife had the Penne Belle Donna which was a pasta with eggplant, mozzarella and tomatoes. She mentioned the eggplant was quite subtle but excellent. The owners stopped by the table to make sure everything was to our liking. We learned they had a Bricco restaurant in Hells Kitchen New York City and now have moved to the Promenade and opened the Bluffton restaurant. I love their commitment to excellence and their customers. Their hours are limited and they are closed on Sunday. I hope our next visit is as good as this one.

Excellent authentic Italian restaurant. Everything was delicious: grilled eggplant, veal meatballs, pasta primavera, linguine with clams. Beautiful table clothes and decor. Nino the owner is from Capri and chatted with us for a bit.

Amazing food. Finnie our server was top notch. Could not have asked for better service. We had the octopus cuttlefish starter special followed by a tri color gnocchi (beet, spinach and potato) accompanied by a butter sage sauce. We had their special Chardonnay unoaked wine. To complete the meal we enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake which was perfectly sweetened but not obnoxiously sweet. We will definitely come back when in the area.

I had great expectations for this place, but the sauce was bland and the meatballs were disappointing.

The interior decor is chic, modern, clean, and illuminated beautifully; there are tiny black LED lamps on the tables which highlight the food without blinding the guests. Our server, Michelle, was friendly, welcoming, and attentive; she kept the water-glasses filled and the courses served. The restaurant features an open-air kitchen with a wrap-around bar; I was introduced to the chef and was able to speak with him in my (limited) Italian. It was truly wonderful to hear and feel his enthusiasm for excellent, northern Italian cooking! The menu is very small...and that is a good thing. By focussing on only a few dishes, the chef and his team are able to provide an unforgettable culinary experience. The highlight of our dinner was the halibut collar which, if you've never enjoyed, I highly recommend. OH. MY. GOD. Although I have enjoyed many fish courses in my life, this is, was, and remains one of those special meals which I shall remember for a very long time. It was truly exceptional: rhythmic with flavour and firm with texture, sauced gently but appropriately and (absolutely) served piping hot on the plate. I must confess I do not recall the other dishes but they were all very good. I believe there was a squid hors-d'oeuvre which I enjoyed, and a very special 'Black Leather' cocktail (?). I cannot remember a better meal than this, not in a very long time. I absolutely and unequivocally recommend Radici for anyone wishing for modern, beautifully cooked, and served northern Italian cuisine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

From the moment we arrived, the tone was set by a hostess who was sharp, articulate, and precise--a perfect ambassador for the front of house. Our server, Sophia, was a consummate professional and a delight to have at our table. She and the rest of the team seem to glide through the room, maintaining a watchful eye on every guest without ever feeling intrusive. The restaurant is defined by a simple elegance. Unlike many modern spots, the tables aren't overburdened; there is generous space between guests and seating so comfortable you could easily linger for hours. The culinary presentation is tantalizing. Every plate that passed us made us second-guess our order until our own arrived. * The Chef's Menu: Every element of every course was executed with pinpoint accuracy. * The Halibut: A "safer" choice that proved to be perfect in every way. * The Wine: An amazing, curated selection that complements the menu beautifully. The Verdict The chef-owners have assembled an elite staff and a dining experience that feels both refined and welcoming. They are a magnificent addition to the Bluffton community, and I expect them to be a local staple for a long time. Pro Tip: Do not miss the bread dessert (the name escapes me, but perhaps the team can remind me in their reply!).

I'd tried to get in here twice in the last month, so I recommend making reservations--you'll get turned away at the door for sure, and folks were queued up before the 5pm dinner opening. The interior is welcoming and there's ample space between some oversized high tops and traditional tables. Our server, Kylie, was an absolute peach. She was so friendly and sweet, and she really catered to our needs. There were 4-5 additional specials recited once we sat down. I do wish if servers are going to read specials, they should also include the prices. Since the entire menu was moderately priced (when you consider the area), I didn't think the veal ossobuco would be a $50 entree, but it was my fault for not asking outright. Delicious for sure, but if I were pinching pennies, I may have opted for several other dishes. But truthfully, I found my selections to be excellent. The bread service is unusual but awesome! Warm crusty Scali bread and all diners get their own individual saucers of dipping oil. My post-Covid self thinks this is the best idea ever and every restaurant should do this!! Everyone enjoyed their appetizer & entree choices, though my sister felt the chicken Marsala needed more Marsala flavor. The Caesar was outstanding and the wedding soup flavorful. The ossobuco was melt-in-your mouth tender. I loved the bone marrow garnish as well. My Bananas Foster cake was as if banana bread, caramel cake & pecan pie had a baby. I tasted the Tres Leche cake but it was a little underwhelming for me. I was surprised there was only one traditional Italian dessert (limoncello cake) offered among 3 types of cheesecakes and some chocolate options. No tiramisu, cannoli or spumoni here. But again, the food is delicious and I understand why you seriously need to make a reservation if you want to get in here. My first time but not my last!

The restaurant was pretty busy, but they did have adequate staff available so we were offered drinks right away. The bread that was brought out was very small pillow like rectangular pieces with some olive oil and balsamic to dip in. It was cold and not very impressive. We shared a burrata and it came with four slices of tomatoes and two balls of burrata drizzled with balsamic over some romaine lettuce. It was a nice start to the meal. I had the chicken marsala and my aunt had the chicken parmesan. The portion size was adequate and her pasta and veal had a lot of red sauce on it. The marsala sauce was a bit thin, and I would've liked more on my pasta. We each had a glass of wine which was served quickly and complemented the meal nicely. The server was attentive and the food was hot. Overall, it was a good, not great experience.

The burrata appetizer was good and presented well. Next up the entrees. We had veal Marsala which was average and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata tasted baked not fried (strange) but the sauce was good and gf pasta was great! Lastly, the dessert... tiramisu. The waiter said it was homemade and highly recommended. It was very cold from the refrigerator but otherwise was fine. I had high hopes coming in but I'd give an average overall rating.
