Such a gem! This place is the real deal--authentic Italian with a creative twist. Every dish is handmade and packed with flavor. The pasta? Unreal. You can tell everything's crafted with love and intention. Totally worth it--can't wait to go back.

I hesitate to write this review. Only because I want nothing more than to make sure we can always get a reservation. Un-be-leivable. From greeting to farewell, and every bite in between. Service 5 stars. Presentation 5 stars. Every bite of the food, from bread to desert was delicious. My wife has many allergies, and Matia the chef catered to every one of them. Eric our server was outstanding. I watched the kitchen staff take a plate that didn't have a perfect presentation off the delivery line and re-do it entirely. The pride this resterant put into every single stage of our dinner was phenomenal. My only concern is, too many people find out about it. But there is no way I could sleep good at night without attempting to help them promote. Call now and book a reservation.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food served by real Italians with an upscale European experience, then this is for you. Exquisite flavors and service with the heartbeat of genuine Italians. The ambience is upscale and the Chef is an artist.

Excellent meal, great service, and inviting atmosphere. We were in love with the open kitchen concept, allowing for a glimpse of the chefs at work.

Mattia, Giandomenico, & Camilla have really done something special here in Bluffton. From the second we walked in the door we felt like we were both family and in the presence of greatness. Three hours later, after a bottle of amazing wine, carefully crafted and plated dishes such as beef carpaccio, prime rib with a nduja smoked sauce, venison cooked to absolute perfection, and a tonka bean panna cotta that I didn't realize had been missing from my life all these years, we left so excited to come back again and again. These three came here from their Michilan starred resturants in Italy a few months ago with a dream to bring Italian fine dining to the Lowcountry and it will be a gift to this community for years to come. We have already been back a second time, because I couldn't stop dreaming about that panna cotta, and every single dish we tried was incredible. On our second visit we had the homemade focaccia bread (that takes like sourdough and fairy dust), the veal, the clam spaghetti, and more...all of it was amazing. It is a small menu, as with most fine dining, but with the carefully crafted and locally sourced ingredients, it doesn't need to be any bigger. If you are a party of two I highly recommend making your reservation at the Kitchen Bar Seating so you can enjoy watching the open kitchen work their magic. If you are a party of 3 or more, I recommend the dining room. You can't go wrong. The service, the ambiance, the food, it's all so good! This will be a regular spot for us for years to come!

To be honest, I thought the place as an over rated. The service was excellent but the food just OK.

I'd tried to get in here twice in the last month, so I recommend making reservations--you'll get turned away at the door for sure, and folks were queued up before the 5pm dinner opening. The interior is welcoming and there's ample space between some oversized high tops and traditional tables. Our server, Kylie, was an absolute peach. She was so friendly and sweet, and she really catered to our needs. There were 4-5 additional specials recited once we sat down. I do wish if servers are going to read specials, they should also include the prices. Since the entire menu was moderately priced (when you consider the area), I didn't think the veal ossobuco would be a $50 entree, but it was my fault for not asking outright. Delicious for sure, but if I were pinching pennies, I may have opted for several other dishes. But truthfully, I found my selections to be excellent. The bread service is unusual but awesome! Warm crusty Scali bread and all diners get their own individual saucers of dipping oil. My post-Covid self thinks this is the best idea ever and every restaurant should do this!! Everyone enjoyed their appetizer & entree choices, though my sister felt the chicken Marsala needed more Marsala flavor. The Caesar was outstanding and the wedding soup flavorful. The ossobuco was melt-in-your mouth tender. I loved the bone marrow garnish as well. My Bananas Foster cake was as if banana bread, caramel cake & pecan pie had a baby. I tasted the Tres Leche cake but it was a little underwhelming for me. I was surprised there was only one traditional Italian dessert (limoncello cake) offered among 3 types of cheesecakes and some chocolate options. No tiramisu, cannoli or spumoni here. But again, the food is delicious and I understand why you seriously need to make a reservation if you want to get in here. My first time but not my last!

The restaurant was pretty busy, but they did have adequate staff available so we were offered drinks right away. The bread that was brought out was very small pillow like rectangular pieces with some olive oil and balsamic to dip in. It was cold and not very impressive. We shared a burrata and it came with four slices of tomatoes and two balls of burrata drizzled with balsamic over some romaine lettuce. It was a nice start to the meal. I had the chicken marsala and my aunt had the chicken parmesan. The portion size was adequate and her pasta and veal had a lot of red sauce on it. The marsala sauce was a bit thin, and I would've liked more on my pasta. We each had a glass of wine which was served quickly and complemented the meal nicely. The server was attentive and the food was hot. Overall, it was a good, not great experience.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly and obviously very overworked. Only 3 people were working on this fairly busy Friday night. The owner/cook and 2 waiters (who also seat, pack to go, bus, expedite, etc.). I did notice an odd smell (like urine) but no one else seemed bothered. The burrata appetizer was good and presented well. Next up the entrees. We had veal Marsala which was average and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata tasted baked not fried (strange) but the sauce was good and gf pasta was great! Lastly, the dessert... tiramisu. The waiter said it was homemade and highly recommended. It was very cold from the refrigerator but otherwise was fine. I had high hopes coming in but I'd give an average overall rating.
