The food is amazing, the wine is absolutely perfect, and live music on Friday and Saturday nights!!! What more could you ask for?!

I tried their lemon chicken for the first time...what can I say, it was DELICIOUS!!!! With the pita bread was even amazing! So good I finished every bite! Would definitely be going back for my lunches Excelent customer service as well! Thank you! read more

This is a gem of a restaurant. The owner is very attentive. Restaurant clean. My sister and I shared the Greek salad, stuffed dates wrapped in bacon and the Salmon Carpaccio. Pricing good. Neither one of us lives in the area, but it was an equal distance for both. We will go back!!! read more

Enjoyed my meal. I had Mia Bella Farfalle. It was yummy. A bit salty. Really nice server. He was spread a bit thin w the tables. Took a while to take order but was attentive after that. Overall great customer service. Friends that I was with really loved the food. Tiramisu was good. Not great but good. Of course I realize food is a very personal experience. So it can be interpreted many ways. Loved my glass of Chardonnay. Overall good experience. read more

Truffle Bistro is a wonderful addition to the Orange/Villa Park Community and is great if you like Tapas, excellent wine pairings and great food. We gave this 5 stars for excellent food, excellent service, and knowledgeable and attentive wait staff. Henry is the Owner and Chef. Henry is unpretentious, friendly, and approachable. They have Flamenco guitar on Saturdays. We tried the Stuffed Mushrooms, Smoke Salmon Carpaccio, and Cauliflower in a Sriracha Aioli. My Wife had the Montepalco d'Abruzzo Dry Red Wine. When purchased a portion of the sale goes toward a Children's Charity in Italy. We shared the Penne and Colossal Prawns in a red sauce. We closed the evening out with a house made Tiramisu. We highly recommend you give it a try. We are very happy and had a great experience. read more

This new cute restaurant just opened near me and I was so excited to try it! We need new fun cute restaurants where I live (Villa Park). Anyway the atmosphere was very nice (had a live guitarist in the corner playing spanish sounding music but was not overpowering) and it's small and cozy. Our waiter was wonderful and I could tell he was passionate about the place. However where they came up short was the food. Nothing that we ordered had a lot of flavor. The tuna tartar was just ok, very bland and I ordered the caprese salad and the tomatoes were not even ripe. My husband had the garlic shrimp which also was very bland. The brussel sprouts were good but that was it. I hope they improve the food because the place has potential! I will give it one more try! read more

My wife and I have been looking for new alternatives for good food in Orange. We found a new gem in Truffle Bistro. Have the Greek pizza with fresh dough made daily - awesome! Henry the owner is in the kitchen and shops fresh ingredients daily. Fair priced and great service. Still coming back to try more dishes. Best new restaurant in Orange for quality food and variety of dishes. Must try. read more

A very enjoyable meal. Will definitely go back. A great variety choices. The chef was accommodating! The wait staff was awesome. The cheese plate and stuffed mushrooms were a hit. read more

Truffle Bistro - Italian Near Me - Orange, California

We had 8 tapas and their famous tiramisu. Every single dish was superbly prepared. Staff was amazing. Drinks were outstanding. It was one of the most memorable dining experience we've had. Thank you, Chef, for such an incredible evening! read more

We pass by this place all the time. Never really had the urge to try it until now. We were originally going to the Mexican restaurant next door, but that place looked really gross so we walked over to this place instead. This is a cute small bites eatery. The restaurant is not very big in size and it looks like it can get packed pretty quickly. Due to my dietary restrictions, there wasn't a lot for me to choose from on the menu. This place offers a lot of red meat items, but I ended up ordering the burrata cheese salad because I wasn't too hungry when we got there in the first place. The hubs ordered a chicken and veggie pizza and my in-law ordered a salad which I do not remember what kind. I LOVED my burrata cheese and tomato salad. I just wish it would have been bigger. The hubs pizza was delicious and my in-law loved her salad. You can see right into the kitchen area from the dining room. It was funny because the chef kept looking at my hubs when he was picking the mushrooms off his pizza. Yes, picking things off your food is insulting to the chef ;) Albeit, the hubs said no mushrooms on his pizza and he got them anyway, so he was allowed to pick them off :) The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is for price range. This restaurant serves little bites for a big price. We will definitely be coming back, but not on a regular basis. read more

Truffle Bistro - Delicious caprese salad...burratta cheese. - Italian Near Me - Orange, California

I hosted a happy hour for one of my accounts at this restaurant yesterday. We loved the tapas format where we were all able to select a few items from their expansive menu selections. All of the food was amazing. I particularly liked the ahi tuna, stuffed mushrooms, brussel sprouts, and the special of the day - potato dumplings with gorgonzola sauce. Our waitress was very attentive and took very good care of us as well. I would definitely recommend this spot for a nice meal. read more

Amazing food! I felt like one of those food reviewers on TV where he closes his eyes and he's like "this brings me back to my childhood". Except it brings me to heaven because I have just died of deliciousness. That doesn't make sense... but you get the point. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. The Brussels sprouts and tuna pyramid thing (I forget the name, but it looks like a pyramid and has tuna) are two must-haves. read more

Awesome tapas and wine selection! The salmon is amazing. Mussels and clams are delicious!!! Owner is the cheff. Check out the wine pairing dinner on July 30th!!! read more

This place was amazing. Good food great prices. Super friendly. Nice environment. Will definitely be back

First time here. Called around 3 requesting a 6:30 reservation for six. Henry, the proprietor, stated he could take us at 7. Arrived at seven to a packed place (max occupancy 35), and our table was waiting for us. Multiple tables flipped while we were there, and at times there were diners waiting. Place was hopping. People were laughing, seemed to be really enjoying themselves. The plates of food looked good. Great sign. Three servers, ours was Tony, and he was fantastic. Knowledgeable, patient to all our questions, and prompt. Three bottles of wine, and 2.5 hours later, we were so happy and satiated. Our new favorite place! Mix of dishes from Spain, Italy and Greece. Fresh, quality ingredients. Fantastic Mom-n-pop place. We must have had 15 orders of tapas. All the seafood orders were great. Salads were great. Chicken, rack-o-lamb, pasta dishes were great. My fav's were the spanakopita, anchovies, bow ties, chicken with capers, lamb empanadas. Missed the oxtail, lamb shank, and pizza. Next time. read more

Great neighborhood gem. Delicious tapas, nice servers. Went with a group of 10 girls for a birthday. Prrfect

Really good stuff!!! For a small place they really do it right. Great food at a great price, great ambiance, servers know their stuff. Definitely go back. read more

Henry is a food genius! Absolutely wonderful experience and food! The restaurant sits in a somewhat unexpected mini-mall, but when you walk in, the charm and ambiance are undeniable. The food, in particular the tapas, and so rich in flavor. Our new favorite date night location! We highly recommend the cajun artichokes and the smoked salmon. Also, the house wine is delicious. read more

I'm not a regular reviewer. This place is glorious. It's like a dream restaurant for anyone who ever wanted to try it on their own and actually had the talent to do so. Henry is a presence. He cooks everything that goes out with care right in front of you. His sauce skills are unbelievable. He makes beautiful pizzas and the calamari..the best I've had. Ever. I've lived all over. This place and chef are doing amazing things. Can't wait to go back. read more

A great new restaurant in Orange. We had some tapas, salads and pasta dishes. Wow... really good stuff and worth the try. Henry is a great chef and the service was fantastic. Save some room for the tiramisu. Best of all the prices are good. We definitely will be going back. read more

I love this place. I feel like I'm in a bistro in Europe. The food is great, the atmosphere is inviting and the Chef and staff are amazing.

We got a few tapas and the food was amazing. There was this shrimp in a tomato sauce and omg it was incredible! You could tell the chef cared about what he was putting out and it showed. The staff was great, nice quiet atmosphere and food was great. I'm excited to go back and try more. read more

We come here a lot and I just wanted to say that it keeps getting better and better. Our waiter Tony was great as usual and Henry's food is always top notch. Can't wait to go back read more

So my best friend and I wanted to try something different and this is where we ended up. The food was delicious. Served piping hot and seasoned very well. We only had the Tapas today, but we'll be back. The Tiramisu was wonderful! Our server was fantastic as well. Love this place and look forward to coming back! read more

HIDDEN GEM IN AN OBSCURE LOCATION...Amazing appetizers!! We read the reviews and we thought let's try it for appetizers and wine...so happy that we did!!! What a great place, Fantastic music, ambience and OMG the food!! Sooo amazing!! Tony was our server and he was awesome, very professional and courteous! We will be back! read more

I can't being to describe how amazing and happy I am to see this place open! Henry, the owner, previously had a restaurant in Fountain Valley that we loved. When we heard about Truffle Bistro opening, we immediately made plans to get down there. I'll start at the beginning, we brought two bottles of wine. We weren't informed before, but corkage was $15 / bottle. Very reasonable, but probably could have been communicated. Regardless, it's posted here and you're reading this, so you know now! I'll start with ambiance. The place is, to say the least, lovely. Great style, great colors and look, and nice lighting. If you're looking for a more romantic/dim dining experience, make sure you sit more toward the windows. We sat near the kitchen which was fine, but the lighting from the open kitchen was definitely brighter. Great for people who want to see their food and the menu, but not great for those looking for a more date-like experience. Regardless, the place is very well appointed and very nicely decorated. After reviewing the menu we opted to do the tapas style as we were there with close friends who also love a more "sampling" kind of menu. Most of the menu sounded amazing, and so we made a selection of items to start with. All the food started to come out after a few minutes and each dish was cooked to perfection and perfectly spiced/flavored! As we have come to expect from Henry, his attention to detail and quality of cooking is astounding. The ONLY downside to the meal is that there wasn't bread to sop up the sauce, which Henry was more than happy to provide us with something upon request. Our server Tony was very nice, attentive, and informative. The perfect combination of taking care of us without being intrusive. He was absolutely slammed with a very busy Tuesday night. Several large groups with a lot of walk-ins made the place packed. We did see a couple groups having to wait, even with an open table it took a bit to get them seated. The place is great, so be prepared to wait (didn't mean for that to rhyme). But Tony was doing the best he can with running all the tables by himself. This is a great place to go with a group, but larger groups may have a problem. Reservations are recommended if you're time constrained. They do have a bar overlooking the kitchen, but it's not really a social bar area to hang out waiting for a table. I imagine they're very accommodating but be ready. Definitely a highly recommended place to swing by! I can't wait to stop by for lunch and give that a review! read more

Ok. Wow. So glad they are here! Tapas done right in a little strip mall in Orange. We live less than two miles away in Old Towne and we will be regulars... the food is EXCELLENT. We had tapas: Brussels Sprouts, Lamb Meatballs, Lamb Chop, Spanikopita and HOMEMADE Tiramisu. It was all delicious. We will be back to try the lamb shank and lemon chicken. They looked wonderful! The service was very attentive and extremely hygienic. My husband and I appreciate that the handwashing sink is in plain view and that everyone uses it regularly. Love the open kitchen and the friendliness. Looking forward to our next visit. :-) read more

If you love tapas, then this is the place for you. Truffles has a variety of tapas with delicious wines to pair. Great place for date night, very quaint. read more

Stumbled across this restaurant looking to take my mom out for her birthday dinner, last month. Such a treat! Delightful staff, yummy appetizers/small plates and the desserts were amazing! A ridiculous creamy cheesecake and a chocolate concoction that was unbelievable. It is smack in the middle of a strip mall, but the truffle fries are crazy good and worth it! read more

Our first time to Truffle Bistro last night, although the eatery has been open more than a year just around the corner from us. What a treat to discover the gourmet version of a speakeasy on our doorstep. This is a high quality European style tapas restaurant with the choice between small plates and regular entrees but we stayed with the tapas menu for our first experience. It was excellent. As fine as anything you will find in Barcelona, the home of "tapas" dishes. Add in a wonderful ambience, professional and knowledgeable service and Henry, the Chef-owner who takes pride in management by walking about, and this all adds up to a place to keep. It was busy while we were there and I'm sure that word of mouth and the excellent reviews that are accumulating will only increase patronage. That is well deserved. So now, before thinking about defaulting to the Circle in Orange, there's an off Broadway option that is as good as the best in this town, maybe better. On Tustin, between Walnut and Collins. Thanks to Henry for spending time at our table on our first visits - because he obviously cares. Thanks to Tony our server who explained the dishes and options and made great recommendations for favorites. It was a fine first evening and we will be back. read more

The tapas are just not that great. I don't really understand the reviews. The truffle fries were just standard. The tuna pimentos were not really great. It was a while since we went to this place (maybe 4 months), but I really just wanted to be sure not to come back for tapas. The other main dishes looked pretty good. Maybe we would have had a better experience if we didn't don't order tapas. read more

I don't even want to tell you about the oxtail...because then there won't be any left for me. I was torn between giving this place 1 star (so you wouldn't go) and 5 because they beyond deserve it. Sit at the bar, talk to the chef. This place is great. read more

Truffle Bistro is amazing! We ordered tapas items and main dishes as well. Everything was so delicious and well presented. The brussel sprouts were a table favorite along with the cauliflower, lamb meatballs and caprese salad. We also ordered and half rack of lamb which came with rice, veggies and a delicious sauce. I should have taken pictures but we were too busy enjoying it! The prices were very humble which enticed us to order/ try other items. The owner Henry is extremely attentive and insured his customers are happy and well taken care of. Happy to see such a great place in town! read more

Have eaten there twice we order different tapas everyone of them have been delicious. It's become one of our favorite places to eat

As an Orange local, I took notice when this new place opened. I've been for dinner twice now and both times I was very impressed. The menu selection is extensive without being overwhelming. I'm a firm believer, that a few menu items done to perfection is better than a huge menu with mediocre execution. Everything I tried at Truffle Bistro was delicious! My first visit, I had the truffle fries to start and the grilled salmon with vegetables for my entree; both were amazing! My second visit, I had the Brussel sprouts and garbanzo bean salad to start; both were very good. The salad was light and refreshing although I prefer mine a tad more seasoned; nothing some lemon and salt didn't fix. For my main course, I had the Spanish Seafood Stew. The dish was very hardy and so flavorful! I also tried a bit of my fiancé's lamb shank and it was tender and juicy; he enjoyed it! All in all, this place is a gem and I'll def be back. read more
