I'm sharing a review here in response to a horrible experience made worse by the company's greed and utter lack of humanity. I had not one, but two awful visits to True Society. In addition to having my dreams of a wonderful shopping experience shattered and then providing my feedback for future brides, I was also hassled into a conversation with a store manager and district manager who wasted an obscene amount of my time. No reparations were made, in fact, in the unfortunate case that you have an awful experience they will serve you the same line that they are sorry that they didn't find a resolution, but the reality is that they will not try to rectify the situation, they already have all of your money. No reasonable solution was offered or extended other than lip service. Instead, True Society felt it was appropriate to talk in circles about something that I did not want to rehash repeatedly outside of having to live it. I will add that no one cared to address that the same dress I purchased was even quoted for less at a bridal shop with the same owner, Luxe ! They do not and will not treat you like a human being, you are a dollar sign above all else. Please use so much caution if you do find yourself in one of their stores. If you find a dress you like I would urge you to purchase it at a different shop 1) for a lower price and 2) to avoid the unreasonable corporate agreements you are bound to upon signing numerous forms that release them from any and all accountability. It was my first time dress shopping and Bri was so helpful and awesome. She would ask me my opinions on even the the smallest things and would bring dresses based off of them. Usually I struggle making decisions but she made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. Bri was super nice and in tune with everything. She knew just the type of dresses to pull to ensure we found just the right one. The environment itself was very positive, uplifting, and beautiful. This place exceeded my expectations when it came to the dress options, timeline, and customer service! Also it doesn't hurt that the store is beautifully designed and decorated from the layout to the fitting rooms. The whole experience was top notch and 100% better than any other place I've been. I found my dress after one appointment with them - it was actually the very 1st dress I tried on! Dress options: They have so much variety for dress styles/designs not just sparkles (which is what I struggled to find). The style/design vibes that stood out to me were modern, romantic, and boho options as well as some more traditional. Timeline: My wedding is in May of this year 2023(so I was time sensitive) but they use a company portal to see which dresses are being made already and available for rush delivery. They also have off the rack dresses you can take with you. I fell in love with a dress and it'll be here in 2 weeks! (Rush shipping was not crazy expensive) Customer service: I worked with Bri and she was AMAZING. She understood my vision and knew what dresses to pull before we even got started. She didn't rush me and gave me time to really take in all the styles while providing advice. She was supportive, kind, enthusiastic, and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. Wow, wow, wow! That is what comes to mind when describing my experience with True Society. From the first impression when you walk in the door to the love and excitement you feel from everyone when you decide on a dress, this experience is unlike any bridal shop in town. The look of the shop is jaw dropping with a trendy and earthy vibe. Upon arrival you are greeted by their lovely staff who quickly get you situated with a dressing room and consultant. (I even arrived before my appointment and they were able to get me in sooner) The dressing room experience is amazing you are helped and catered to the entire time. You are given a luxurious robe and set up with 3 mirrors, studio lighting and curtains for that wow reveal to your friends and family. The curtains and large dressing room really allow you that intimate moment to look at yourself privately in a dress and experience your feelings before showing everyone else. We were helped by the lovely Marcia, who not only assisted me in trying on the gowns but really took initiative in taking my likes and dislikes into consideration. You can see her passion in her work by how she supports you in your decision making, hypes you up, and shows genuine happiness for you as a bride. It always felt like her and I were on the same page and the whole experience was about making me feel happy and beautiful and not them "selling a dress". I went to three separate shops the day of my appointment and True Society was the overall best in service, intention and wow factor. They even give a special token to remember the occasion which I felt was the most thoughtful and touching way to commemorate the day. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for the perfect dress. They have a wide variety of dresses at all different prices and also include a large variety of plus size dresses which can be hard to find at most bridal boutiques. I had an absolutely amazing experience at True society! First of all, the set up is amazing. I felt like I was in a movie. Secondly, everyone made a point to make the day special. When I found my dress, Taryn and Brie asked what my first dance song was and they played it so I could visualize my day. I had one more appointment after so I didn't want to say yes in that moment, and they told me I could come back after the appointment if I still felt that my dress was the one. When I came back with my friends, Taryn helped me get all dolled up with a veil and popped champagne when I officially said yes to the dress! I would highly recommend coming here! read more

I recently had an appointment at True Society and left very disappointed. I had three appointment's in one day and was most excited for this appointment as they seemed to have mostly the style of dresses I liked. Before my appointment, I sent a photo of a dress off their website that I wanted to try and they informed me they had this specific dress on the sales floor, but never brought it for me to try. Starting the appointment off, the associate took me on a very detailed tour of all the dresses they had on the floor. As her tour went on, I was very excited as I saw a lot of the dresses I liked from their website as well as some new styles I wanted to try. I was even grabbing dresses I liked letting her know I'd like to try these various styles on. She then brought me to the dressing room and had 1 dress for me to try. I found this a little odd as my appointments earlier that day, had 8-12 dresses in the dressing room to start. I found this much more efficient then bringing one dress at a time. I feel structuring the appointment this way was very very awkward. I let her know I did NOT like the dresses she was bringing and we went on to talk about why I didn't like the dress for 8-10minutes for each dress... wasting everyone's time. It seemed like the associate was either not comfortable pulling dresses for me or didn't seem to care about the appointment. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

My best friend and I went in just to look at dresses and see what silhouettes we liked the best for when the time does come. Marcia walked us through the whole store showed us all of the collections, did a really good job explaining which dresses could be customized and in what fashion. I didn't think it was possible for someone to actually be able to know what would look good on me besides myself but she did an amazing job. We both found our dream dresses and left sooooo happy with the experience. Cannot recommend Marcia enough she is what made the experience so special. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!! They also have the most beautiful selection of dresses compared to the other stores I had looked at online. Marcia also walked us through how long the process takes of ordering the dress and getting the alterations and gave us a really good idea of the timeline. I found my dream dress here! I went in originally because I love the designer Stella York. They had the dresses organized very nicely and I was able to tell the woman helping me exactly what I liked and didn't. She pushed me out of my comfort zone by having me try a few new things she thought I would like, and I ended up walking out with one of her suggestions! I never thought I would buy a dress the day of, but it was too great to pass up. They celebrated me afterwards with champagne! Let me start by saying this was my very first experience wedding dress shopping and I was so nervous. I didn't know what to expect and the thought of dressing with a random stranger had me feeling anxious. The whole experience felt so foreign to me. When I walked in I felt welcome and the staff were so kind in addressing me and telling me they were there to make the experience fun. I then met Olivia, my stylist and I felt like we just matched. She listened to what I had to say and helped put my mind at ease as we walked around the store. I felt comfortable with her while changing as she helped me find my perfect dress and pinned them all so I could get an idea of how each would fit in my size. She took mental notes of what I said in each dress and helped reemphasize the feelings I was feeling. I believe it was the manager (I can't remember her name *facepalm*) who kept coming around to check on things and see that my anxiety was easing and help hype me up as I tried on different dresses. Olivia truly did a wonderful job having me try multiple styles and helping me narrow my choices down to make sure I knew that the one I was in love with was the one. I didn't think I'd pick my dress at my first appointment but I did! I'm hoping the process of getting my dress in goes as smoothly as my apppointment did and I don't have any reason to believe otherwise. My daughter came for an appointment to try on wedding dresses. The staff was so very polite and helpful. They truly listened to my daughter and only picked dresses they thought she would like. They did not try and upsell or pull dresses with features she said she didn't want. We had decided on a dress but had another appointment with another dress shop, so we left to attend that appointment. Our experience at the second shop could net have been more opposite! We left that shop feeling dissatisfied. We wanted to go back to True Society and look at the dress she liked again. On the way over there my daughter was feeling hesitant that she hadn't picked what she really wanted and was having doubts. The staff at True Society welcomed her back in and helped her try on more dresses, even though we didn't have an appointment. She then found THE DRESS and was so very satisfied with her new pick.
