Thanks for all the planning and hard work to construct the tournament range and the volunteers who put these events on. Fortunately the weather was great (not too hot). We had a great time in Simi Valley and looking forward to coming here again. Cell phone reception on the range is not too good although you can get a little bit of reception in certain spots, and it does work if you drive 5min into the surrounding neighborhood.

The staff goes over your eye orientation (whether right or left-eye dominant), provides you with an archery arm guard, and goes over the safety rules. They had multiple instructors who helped you orient yourself and your bow and arrows to shoot at the target. It felt like many directions, but as you go more rounds, your body and brain start to retain the information. I cheered when I finally hit the target! My only goal for the day, besides getting out of bed, was to hit the target! Maybe I didn't hit dead center, but an arrow (and even more arrows) made it onto the target! Yay! There is no good cell phone reception at the range where the public course is held, so if you're meeting anyone, try to make sure you decide where to meet beforehand. There is free parking on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. through a fence to your left, a little from when you enter the park. The public session costs $5, and you must sign a waiver. Bring cash, as, once again, you will probably have no cell service. Thank you to Kevin and the other instructors and staff who helped me patiently. Very disappointing experience after purchasing a $199.99 bat for my 7-year-old…read more We're new to travel baseball and relied on the staff's guidance. After trying a demo bats, their staff advised us to have my son hit baseballs with the NEW bat while it was still wrapped in plastic due to him going up from a 26" to a 28" since the 27" was no longer in stock. We purchased it, and after removing the plastic noticed a paint chip on the top of the barrel. When I asked to return it while still in their facility, I was told the bat was considered "used" because my son had hit a few balls with it in the batting cage, even though that happened in THEIR facility, while it was still wrapped, at THEIR staff's direction. Had anyone told me that allowing my son to test the bat meant it immediately became non-returnable, I never would have agreed to it. Instead, I'm now being told to pursue a manufacturer warranty claim. Which is a bummer since it's a nice size knock on the top of the barrel and the paint chip exposes the composite. From what I read, this can make the bat more susceptible to cracks. I understand return policies, but customers should be clearly informed when following a salesperson's recommendation makes a $200 purchase final. I would kindly ask the staff alongside the customer examen a product together before it becomes FINAl SALE. An exciting new adventure has now become a mama's headache and extra steps to try and make sure we won't through away money in today's economic times! Unfortunately, this experience lost our business. Other than that, nice facility. just think twice and asked for the sales team to examen any purchase with you before the sale concludes.

From books to relay batons to training devices, they have helped me out on more than one occasion. Where they really earned their stars is last summer when I was in desperate need of starting blocks. My daughter was training for the Junior Olympics and we needed to work on her starts over the first two hurdles. I called around but the lead time was weeks (plural) which would have meant her steps would have been seriously off for her first meet. A call to On Track had me on hold while they looked in their inventory then a promise of a call back in a few minutes while they checked in the back. Sure enough, they had an out-of-box demo that was still brand new and ready for my pick up that afternoon. We had it at practice that night and the rest as they say is history. I know this review will be useless to the majority of Yelpers but should you ever need anything track related, you now know where to go!

After I finished shooting, they told me that the people on duty did not know how to clean my rifles. I know that the range will not give a crap about losing my business, but I will never go shoot there or bring any firearms to clean there again.
