We had a birthday party for my kids. The organization is faltering. But other than that kids enjoyed the time spent there.

I really wanted to enjoy this field, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown from start to finish. We only played *three games* the entire day, which is unacceptable considering how long we were there. A big part of the problem seemed to be the refs -- they spent most of their time chatting with friends instead of managing games or keeping things moving. It felt incredibly disorganized, and the players were just left waiting around. On top of that, we only played in *one area* -- the trenches. The rest of the field was never used, which made the gameplay repetitive and boring. Why have a full outdoor field if you're not going to utilize it? I won't be returning, and I'll be moving on to other fields where the staff actually puts effort into running the day properly. I hope the owner, Glenn, becomes aware of what's happening. It seems like the current refs are just clocking in for an easy paycheck without doing their jobs. Disappointing experience overall. read more

So I have been going to this field for about 2-3 years now this is my main field that I go to. I would recommend coming back to this field if your looking for a bigger map and a bit more out doors feel of gameplay. The refs are good. I haven't seen them mistreating my friends that have just gotten into the sport or done anything to them out of the ordinary. I don't have anything bad to say about this field good prices for pizza (15 for a large pizza enough to feed three male teens), entry fee still decently priced (30 or 35 can't remember), good refs, good cashier I suppose is what you call the shack, safety is top priority here, 5 dollar barrel covers seemed cheap when I checked prices else where, nice players, and free air refills. I've been to this field many times years ago it used to be amazing even before the trenches. The refs can make or break the game and sadly the refs here have sucked the last 5 years. They hardly call out cheaters and as nice of the 300 pound ref was idk if it's your 4th week as a ref you where a player you should know the rules and be able to understand them and enforce them. It's because of your refs I rather drive further away to play even with these gas prices. Also repair your tables once in a while. I live further down south from this area, and I decided to check this place out with some friends. Field is decent, players and refs were friendly and called out their hits (at least from the matches we participated in that day). The reason why I took out 2 stars from this rating was because the fat bearded man with sunglasses at the shack/counter had a condescending, sarcastic attitude towards me and a few other customers, especially kids, teenagers, and parents. That guy needs to fix his attitude or leave. I don't think you should be treating patrons like that when they're coming to support your organization. He was unprofessional. First time here and overall it was a great experience Here are some tips if you're planning on going -$20 entrance fee -They also have the waivers at the main desk incase you forgot your slip -Bring a beach umbrella to place near your car cause that is pretty much where you'll be when you're not in battle -Bring lots of water and snacks because after each battle you'll be tired -highly recommend already having airsoft gear or having friends that already have gear for you to borrow -The field itself is great, just wear non slip shoes with a good amount of grip because there are obviously bbs all over the ground which makes it easy to slip. -This place is very convenient , simple, and all about having a good airsoft battle read more

We booked our son's bday party here and the staff was completely unorganized. Our booking included our own private field and a referee. However when we arrived we waited over an hour in the 95 heat before we could even play. Part of the time we waited was because our ref was playing a game himself! When we asked what the hold up was they said we need the waivers, which I tried to hand to them when we first arrived. They were very disorganized and took another 30 minutes getting the equipment ready. When we did get to play we didn't really have our own field to play in. We played while the regulars took a break. Also, the man who was in the shack was so unbelievably rude. He yelled and swore at my kids. He needs to be fired, then he needs anger management and then he needs to take an etiquette course if he wants to interact with the public. Our ref was nice and once we were playing we had fun. But it was not worth the $650 we paid for ten people. If the owners had any decency they would give us a partial refund. read more

This place has its ups and downs, the games are fun. It's affordable if you have your own equipment($20 entry), and free for military, but haven't taken them up on that yet. HOWEVER, the refs can be AWFUL. A lot of disrespect when they talk to players who aren't the regulars. They take about 10-20 mins in between "mag breaks". Citrus Rangers Review - Warped Ops Airsoft Park I was looking forward to playing with my friends again, to simply hangout and have fun. Well, I did get to hangout with my team and friends, and a bit of fun - but largely the fun part is also an experience, and I can say the experience from the beginning was a bit soured. Typically, most staff I've met at other Airsoft fields were all friendly and not apprehensive, I couldn't say the same for Warped Ops. Right from the get go at registration, I was met with a bit of sass for the smallest thing. I think I speak for most Airsoft players when it comes to signing waivers, that no one wants to wait in line to sign that piece of paper, we just want to get it over with. So naturally, I grabbed a few extra waivers from the one clipboard they had out, and handed it to the guys next to me. Then I also went to go grab the cupholder containing the pens. It was at that time, one of the guys sitting in the booth told me that, "the pens weren't just for me, they're for everyone". He posed to me a apprehensive and confusing logical challenge, since I was essentially handing the cup to the people next to me so they could grab a pen. He goes on to telling me to "not take the cup again". As you'd imagine, I was thinking, what crime or violation have I committed to deserve such sass? Poor first impression. Sad to say, the series of poor impressions would continue throughout the day. Before our first game, not only has the referee belittled us as an entire group, we've been repeatedly told to "shut up", and while it's understandable that they need to maintain their image of authority - it's very off putting, considering it always took a long time to get a game started. I do appreciate the fact that the ref was insistent on regurgitating the rules and regulations to us before each game, but the format should be closer to that of SC Village, and just give it to us before registration, or sometime after. For example, the ref had to spend time explaining to some players of certain unique rules, like with riot shields. In addition, we all know kids will be kids. But I have to say, kids aren't good at calling their hits, and they don't observe the minimum engagement distance rule, and they don't have self-control when it comes to sustained automatic fire on a person, and a combination of both of those rules. For example, someone got a sustained automatic fire at less than 10ft engagement distance, and you should have seen the welts on that guy. Simply put, sustained automatic fire for more than 2-3 seconds at 400fps and about 1.5 joules won't necessarily kill you, but I can guarantee that it will hurt a lot, and will leave lots of bleeding - and you'll be in great discomfort and pain for weeks. Playing at Warped Ops was interesting to say the least, especially when you're up at 2000ft elevation. The wind was definitely a considerable factor as it affected significantly the shot trajectory of BBs; even more so when you were firing against the wind. I also have to say, there was way too much friendly-fire, to which I'm assuming it was from the younger players - more so than I've experienced at other fields. Lastly, my 3 primary impressions at Warped Ops was: lots of yelling from the refs, sass, and friendly-fire. I can't say that I enjoyed Warped Ops, but I definitely enjoyed hanging out with my team and friends. read more

I played there years ago and it was okay then. I went back to play there again and the field was bigger and better. The refs at warped ops really know how to do their jobs and keep it fun for the players. I am going to play there again on 06/10/2017. I did play at there sister field in Moore park but the fields there are small and the ref don't really do a good job. I will recommend Warped Ops to anyone who wants to play airsoft. keep up the good work. the only thing I would like to change is the lunch break, it was too long. every one wanted to play more instead we sat for almost an hour and half. if it could be just an half hour that would be great. read more

Place is ok ... sadly there's no airsoft field in the San Fernando valley so The Valley people need to use this one. Better organization will help the place a lot. Played here for the first time today. First off let me start by saying the field is pretty awesome and the staff is really professional and friendly. You can tell they are very passionate about airsoft which is awesome. They started the day off with a good safety briefing and I noticed that most of the players adhered to the rules better then other fields. I attribute that to the safety briefing being a must for everyone, including "home field players". Where we start having the issues were the management of the games. The referee, although very pleasant, did not fully convey how to play each mode of play. It left a lot of questions for our group. I would suggest explaining where the re spawns are in greater detail for "first time players" instead of just simply saying re spawn at the goat field or the embassy. If it's our first time then we do not know where those locations are. I noticed A LOT of players were asking me questions like, where do we go? Or how do we play this game? I simply had to answer back "I'm sorry I have no idea either." This field also has A LOT of cheaters. Like surprisingly way more then any GIANT field I've been too. This was actually super surprisingly to me. Once again the staff does their best at addressing the fact this is an integrity based game and they can only do so much. So I don't really knock them for this, but it was overwhelming and the main reason our crew just decided to leave early for the day. We just got sick of people not calling their very obvious hits. It got boring to us and took away from the game. Which brings me to my biggest gripe of the day. Team Distinction. This field has a lot of bushes and brush and it gets really difficult to start telling who's side is who's. There were multiple times I was unable to tell who was on who's team. Multiple times I was eliminated by friendly fire. Multiple times I missed opportunities for kills because I just wasn't sure. The easy fix for this would be to give tape bands to opposing teams and have them clearly display it on their face masks. This is exactly what Warped Paintball Field does, so why not the airsoft side? This would help tremendously, and is a $5 fix. To overview... This field was really cool and the maps was different, the staff was cool, but the overwhelming amount of cheaters, confusing gameplay modes, and lack of team distinction lowered my review. I am sitting right at 2.5 stars at this point. I have a feeling this staff will work on these issues and rectify them. When I started airsofting I was stuck with cqb fields and a lot of kids running at you screaming bang bang bang with strobe lights and it wasn't what I was looking for, my first time at warped ops I was extremely happy with how open the field is and how many different paths you can take to get to your objective. The games change with time and the refs always spice it up but keep the hits in there every once and a while. The staff is excellent there, The experience you're dropped in to is amazing, this field is the reason I've continued growing and expanding my airsoft collection. I've been coming to the field since I started playing airsoft last year. Right off the bat I knew I had found my go to field. Not just because of the convenience of it being close to home but for the people. The staff may come off as a little strict but their rules have always ensured a safe and fair environment for play. I've never witnessed any major conflict on any of the days I've personally attended. There are some minor issues regarding hits not being called from time to time but these tend to occur from players who have never been to the field. There's a large group of regulars who frequent the park who are friendly and are happy to answer your questions about the field or airsoft in general. They've helped out a lot and I'm thankful that for having a great community. The field size is excellent. There's a variety of areas in play from buildings to tall grass and trenches that allow you to mix it up for each round you play and the variety of game types always make for a fun few hours. If you haven't been to the field and you're looking for a high quality outdoor field, you'll be hard pressed to find one that's better in LA County. read more

This place could be good but there was a lot of regulars who think they can get away with cheating since there buddies with the refs there and I feel as though they do a lot. I mean they hangout right where the refs have their little building for the field. Also the refs know the regulars by name so that's fun. Place could be somewhat decent but too many regulars that hang with the refs and get a lot of passes on rules that aren't allowed . One ref is extremely bad he has a long black beard and he is name is Andrew and he lacks a lot of things and one of them is when taking a break to reload mags he will wait 30 minutes until the next game so for 20 minutes everybody is sitting there doing nothing and that pisses a lot of people off. Probably never coming back here. The regulars are too cocky and complete assholes to everybody else and they think they own the damn place but Andrew(The REF) doesn't care and laughs with them about it. I went with my son and my cousin, it was fun, before the first game my rifle battery cord got stuck in the rear site, I went over to the booth and the guy immediately helped me get it unstuck and I was able to get back in time to play. I had no problem with the "long black bearded guy" Andrew, it's simple, listen to the rules when he's trying to explain them, there was time when he raised his voice, umm yeah, some kids in the back didn't think they needed to listen, look, airsoft is really fun, but shooting BB's and getting shot by them at your face can be dangerous they are very strict for your own safety once you understand that you know why he doesn't mess around, I will definitely continue to play here. read more

Warped ops is Simply put, the best there is .whether you are an experienced pro with a lot of gear or a kid in a hoodie using a rental gun .The field is vast and dynamic both in brush and in architecture with several buildings evolving and changing and becoming better almost every week .The field fps limit is 400 so I suggest bringing a pistol for closer engagements but again it's not necessary. Anyone can pick up and play with the bare minimum. The staff is friendly and inviting to any questions you might have but you have to speak up and ask. I'm lucky enough to only be about 20 miles away from this field but I would drive 4 hours plus just to get here .The day starts at give or take about 9:30 -10:00 depending on how many people show up. MAKE sure to bring water and snacks if not the staff offers to order pizza and they sell ice cold drinks out of the shack but they could run out towards the end of the day. Great place for kids and adults alike I just thought I should take the time to write this review after some of the negative comments I've seen on this page people should know the truth about this amazing field , make sure to read the rules posted on the shack so everyone can have a safe and fun time. read more

Its like playing COD or Battlefield 4 ! This field is great it has so many ways to tackle objectives. From high above or low. Plus a city that over a year has really expended with new buildings. I suspect it will continue to do so. I will say don't expect Speed ball or typical indoor CQB I'm sure you guys are looking for something fresh. Not all games revolve around the city which is a good thing. From capture the trench, yep they have a large square size trench to. Also capture the embassy which involve what else capture the building from the defending team. There are to many game modes to really go into detail. I would recommend heading out there and seeing it with your own eyes. The staff there are helpful. The Players even help out new comers. I been at this field for over a year now maybe longer don't really keep track. As for problems at the field, I only seen one in which a kid pistol webbed someone and that player was banned. They are that strict as they should be. Rules are there for your safety and other players and they are quick to warned you if your breaking them or just out right kick you like the example above. Which is why I give this review 5 stars it comes down not just to the field itself but PLAYERS and STAFF. It's a good field but some of the refs are buddy buddy with some players which I'm fine with, but when those people go there every weekend, and do airsoft for a living basically, are put on the same team against a team with a few good players and the rest of them new players it's very unbalanced and not very fun. I also didn't like how one of the refs didn't give a warning before the next game starts he would just say "next game right now, everyone out to the field." My last complaint is the owners do remove/censor comments on yelp which I don't necessarily like. If someone leaves a bad opinion, own up to it and leave it. read more

My first time trying out the airsoft battle world, i'll admit it was a great experience. Came out here with a few co-workers and one veteran to the game. I was told by him that they rent you all the gears and rifle/pistol for new comers to the game. HOWEVER, we didn't know that you can call ahead of time to reserve these equipments ahead of time so once you get there for the day you choose, they don't give you the excuse of "We're sorry, we ran out of rifles to rent!". Luckily my friend brought his own airsofts and we still manage to play a few games. I understand that there are some days when they might be slow and some like the one we had was pretty busy, its best to be prepared at all times. I've played at this field a fair amount so my opinion is averaged out over the course of many months. Firstly, the field itself is fun, well laid out, with lots of brush everywhere. Though It lacks a lot of cover, as the field only has a few building, which are made of plywood. Not uncommon on an airsoft field, but when compared to SC Village, or Hollywood Sports it's lacking. The staff is another story. They have moments of being courteous and professional, but many times I've seen them yell at players screaming profanity with many other young players present, I've seen them talk condescendingly to people asking for help, and most importantly I've seen them break the rules they stress so often. First and foremost, is the bias towards the regulars. Many times these "regulars" will join in reffing games, as well as operate the chronograph, and demonstrate bad sportsmanship without repercussions. Secondly is the lack of "reffing". They rarely solve disputes in a fair diplomatic way, if they do at all. The players at this field is ultimately what drove me away. There is a good bunch of guys who play there by the rules, and to have a good time. Unfortunately there is a bigger group of "regulars" and others that come with chips on their shoulders, constantly complaining and treating the newer, and younger players with disrespect. They also show horrible sportsmanship, and make playing at this field frustrating. I've had players come up to me bragging about how their guns are shooting over the FPS limit, as well as cheating. Just recently I was physically attacked by another player for shooting him too closely, and I was immediately assumed to be the aggressor. That was the final straw, as my safety was jeopardized and has prompted me to write this review. My opinion is if you're looking for a place to play airsoft in Los Angeles; FIND ANOTHER FIELD. Many first time players I've met over the year and a bit that I've played here have left dissatisfied and shocked at the lack of respect from the staff, and terrible sportsmanship of the other players. I've been playing here since they opened. I've had good and bad experiences but it has always been the other players not the staff or field itself. I used to go to Jericho at Simi Valley but they closed and WarpedOps is the only LA county outdoors field that is available. It's not a huge field but will give you both CQB and open field experiences. Not too many facilities available but if you're a serious or novice player the staff and other players will help you out. I've been playing at this field for roughly three years now. In the experiences I've had of playing at other fields for just normal weekend play, I can truly say I have not found another field I prefer to play at more. The very first time I played at this field, I was there early (as you should be for more than one reason) to ensure I got a spot to lay out all my gear, to be there for the first game, and not miss any of what the day had to offer. The day starts off with a mandatory saftey brief that all are required to attend. Usually, all questions, concerns, and usual problems are addressed by the refs thoroughly. If they skip something, the players who regularly play there ensure it gets covered. All rules and regulations of the field are covered and are made clear for all players. With the brief in mind, those who take the 10 minutes to actually listen and pay attention end up having the best time because they are focused on gameplay and having fun because they have understood the rules and choose to follow them. However, as reality has it, there are always those who choose to play by their own rules and disregard everything they are told. As this happens, the refs addressed what is needed and take all action necessary. In previous reviews there has been a problem of "favoritism." The refs favor no one. There are simply those who they have become friends with because of their regular attendance to warped ops. However, just because people make friends with the refs, does not mean they are exempt from the rules. The minute anyone breaks any rule they are addressed equally. No one is above a rule at anytime. We are all airsoft players and we are all responsible to abide by the rules set by the field. Whether you play once a month there or once a week there, you are addressed equally should you choose to break the rules. The refs are friendly and are there to ensure the saftey of others. Because of this, the need to be strict is inevitable. Whether or not you take offense to this, or choose to be an adult about it is up to you. As for the field itself, warped is looking at prestigious changes as the weeks go by. They are constantly finding ways to improve their field and gameplay through new terrains, new building, and new game modes. The field offers a most diverse form of gameplay that is incorporated in almost every game mode. The field is large enough where games are long, but small enough to keep them interesting. The field is absolutely one of the best in the SoCal area and is arguably geared towards mid level players. This is because almost everyone is equipped with their own guns and gear thereby making it a bit of a challenge to use the rental guns. There is no issue with the rentals, but every player with their own had in some form Modified the gun to conform to their play style, therefore making them perform better. This is simply the nature with any rental gun. This applies to every field both airsoft and paintball alike. This field truly is somewhere that all players can be welcomed and ensured to have a great day of airsoft, given they have fun and abide by the rules. read more
