I used to go to their other branch in Garden Grove. Im glad to see that the same customer service and quality of airsoft parts still exists in this branch. I came in looking for parts to get back in the game, and they came through above and beyond to restore my gear. Amazing facility featuring Reball! I'm so grateful to find a Reball center like this for it's perfect to help me train for professional tournament paintball. The Reball center is the perfect size for 3vs3 , 1vs1, and drills. I noticed it's also a perfect experience for those who want to try playing for their first time but in a more casual setting in the middle of the city without driving far to the bigger paintball fields! The floor is padded wood and you can slide very far! I'm so happy to discover this reball center and i definitely will be back with all my friends! read more

The owner is great and knows a'lot about paintball. his services are needed when something goes wrong about the paintball gun, tank, hopper, etc. that i purchase from him (weeks ago). and he comes through when i need him for something that I can't fix myself. Thanks Paintball Gateway! You guys were able to fix my compressed air tank and it only took about 10 mins and $15. I think the guy that assisted me was Joel. He was awesome, friendly and helpful. Give to the BEER FUND (tip box) if you're happy! LOL! Paintball stores are a dime a dozen now. It's hard to find a nice store that is well stocked with popular, updated and new equipment and gear. Most stores now-a-days are poorly stocked and have little to no customer service...Paintball Gateway is the opposite of that. I'll definitely be back if I need something worked on or to pick up supplies. They have a lot of cases of paintball in stock and in store. They seem to have a good turn around in paintball and equipment also. Plenty of parking. Make sure you don't miss the store in the back of the warehouse area. I'm just getting back into paintball after a long break, Had a couple wgp regs thats been jammed shut for 13 years. I couldn't open no matter what I tried I was losing sleep over it, I called in they said they'll see what they can do. Chill azn dude worked his magic and got em open, when i go to pay he tells me i'm good without thinking twice. At this point i'm looking to spend some money so I pick up some small things even tho I don't need them. While this is happening I over hear another customer that just bought a gun ask " You think its a good idea for me to disassemble my gun or do you think i would mess it up" associate replies " I almost guarantee you will put in the valve in backwards" xDDD then continues to explain the proper way to assemble the gun and walk him through it. I don't know about you, but these small details in knowledge and customer service is what makes me want to continue coming back and makes me happy to spend money here. The staff is awesome and customer service is the best around. 6 stars read more

I would have put 5 stars but not once, but twice I have been to their store looking to pick up my gun and it wasn't there (after calling to confirm prior to coming). JACOB absolutely ROCKS! Great customer service and super knowledgeable about anything that has to do with airsoft. Modified my kids airsoft gun with a new mosfet, a few other additions and gun has been running flawlessly ever since. I wish I could give zero stars. Unfortunately this buisness sold my son and his friend (both minors) an airsoft gun. They could not prove that any IDentification was asked for and even allowed part of the charge on my credit card without ID. I tried to rectify this situation first before coming to Yelp and the BBB but unfortunately they were firm at only offering store credit (what the heck they are still minors). I even had the police come and they refuse to refund for an item that should not have been sold in the first place. Their response ? "Control your kid". Luckily the mom that I am I was able to find out he had it 4 days after purchase. It is up to these businesses to also be held responsible in selling to minors. So if you are under 18 and looking to purchase an airsoft gun you have found your place of business! Me? I'm reporting them to the fullest extent of the law and disputing all transactions. Horrible business. Hope you enjoy your $400 from underage children. read more

Typical PB store. This one seems to exclusively sell HK Army merchandise. Like 90% of there gear is HK. Don't expect anything DYE on the shelves or the salesman to wanna even mention the word DYE. I decided to go to the store to check out their two day sale they had going on. It had been about a year since I last stepped into Paintball Gateway. As I walked in I was handed a flier with the sale prices. I ended up purchasing to invert minis. It was so cheap, I'd have been a fool not to buy them! But on to my update. The store was packed with people but I still received excellent customer service. My friend and I made several requests and the salesman was extremely helpful in checking their stock in the warehouse. The sale was first come first serve, and people were definitely buying. The store cleared the central area of the store front, I'm guessing to make room for the people during the sale, but the walls were mounted with a large selection of markers. If I hadn't purchased an Etek a day prior, I would've definitely picked one up from them. I'm tired and I feel as if I'm rambling. Paintball Gateway, a pleasure doing business with you yet again. Oh, just to let you know how awesome the sale was, I finished my purchase and made about 4 steps towards the door before turning around and making some additional purchases. Came into the shop because I was having issues with all 3 of my air tanks. These guys not only took care of them with a service but they had all the parts and pieces I had been wanting to replace (gauge, reg and burst disk). Not to mention these are all tanks that are ranging form 3-7 years old that I did not purchase here. This is the second time they've come come through in a clutch for me! Definitely worth coming in and letting them take care of you. Not to mention they filled up the air tanks without charging me an additional fee like other places I've been to around here! read more

I can fully attest to what Nick S. stated about the quality of service offered by Hollywood Paintball versus Paintball Gateway. Hollywood paintball just doesn't have the customer services skills that Paintball Gateway utilizes. I believe when I walked in I spoke to Jole at Gateway. He was honest, provided a lot of information as to what I needed to get started. Didn't try to upsell me and actually deterred me from buying things that I didn't need. He also fixed a hopper that was sent to me missing a screw and replaced it for me. Totally something the other stores wouldn't have done. I really hope this place stays around because they found a lifelong customer in me. Do yourself a favor even if it's out of your way. If you need paintball gear and you want great people, and great prices, then come to this establishment. I guarantee you will be pleased at their selection, service, and availability of parking haha. Being in retail I really pay attention to customer service, store layout, variety of products, etc. This store had EXCELLENT variety of products and it was a VERY Clean store. A bit difficult to find, so pay attention to the entrance to the store. I talked to Mike there and he was SUPERB in giving me GOOD Advice and was Very Knowledgeable. So, I came to Paintball Gateway after getting totally snubbed at my local paintball shop HOLLYWOOD PAINTBALL in Hollywood. (I will be writing a 1 star review of that establishment as soon as I'm done with this). So I decided, I'll take the long drive to Gardena to check this place out, see if I can get some actual customer service, and I'm glad I did! Paintball Gateway is awesome. First of all, they have a bigger space than most other stores and carry a much larger selection of merchandise than any other store I've been to. Also, if they don't have something, they can order it for you and it'll be there in no time. What sets this place apart is their customer service. I spoke to Rex and I believe Joel(?) and told them about the terrible experience I had just had with the tech over at Hollywood Paintball, and they were equally as appalled as I was (I won't get into detail here, but if you really want to know, check out my review of HOLLYWOOD PAINTBALL). They told me to come down and they'd help me out with whatever I need. Joel (I hope that's his name, I don't really remember) was super friendly and knowledgeable. I spent a good hour in there talking to him about the sport, about equipment, about what I may or may not need for upgrades, etc. He was super real with me, told me what I might want, and kept it into a price range that I could afford. I ended up purchasing a couple hundred dollars with of gear, and I intend on buying all my paintball gear from them in the future. They made a customer for life. read more

I havent been paintballing in years and since my tank expired and my gun was not used for that long i started searching and was very happy to find this place. it was hard to find but i called and was helped out. i went in for a new tank and hopper and to also get my gun serviced since it wasnt used for so long. Joel, the guy who helped me out on the phone and who helped me when i walked in told me that the service on the gun would not be finished by the time i needed it (i went here on a friday around 2pm and needed the gun ready the next day) so i understood since it was a last minute thing for me. i asked him if i could just leave it and just pick it up the next day (worked on or not) and he was cool with that. Joel did me a big favor and had it ready the next day for me and fixed all its issues. he even gave me the old parts which i though was cool and honest. i will definitely make this my one spot for my paintball needs. read more

THE BEST! I'm new to paintball and was referred to PAINTBALL GATEWAY by a friend who lives close to the store and goes there often. I live about 20 miles away, but decided to give them a try anyway. I was not disappointed. Since then, I've gotten my marker serviced there a couple of times, and my damaged tank serviced there. Every time I go there, the customer service is impeccable. It has been over the top amazing! There was also no intimidation vibe, which I kind of expected, being a noob to the sport and all, but nope, not a bit of that! They make you feel like family. I've already spent hundreds of dollars there and will not hesitate to continue! They deserve it. Whenever you need paintball gear/supplies, I cannot recommend PAINTBALL GATEWAY enough! I've been paintballing for over 10 years and paintball gateway is by far the best store in Los Angeles. I've never felt pressured to into buying something I didn't need and they would even try to help me save money by telling me about DIY projects I can do at home. Their gun techs are amazing!!! I always ask for Brian to work on my markers. He worked on empire sniper and had it shooting lazers afterwards. They're very knowledgable and helpful. They have great deals on paint too and they lots of free give-aways on their facebook page. I've seen how they've intereacted with new-paintballers and they're really down to earth, good people. I've never seen them try to take advantage of anyone. I would definitely send family or friends there unattended and not have to worry about them getting ripped off. One of the other great things about paintball-gateway is that they have everything!!! If you play pump you're going to love them since they have hard to find items. Terrible customer service! My girlfriend bought a pair of gloves here as a present for me. They ended up being too small so I drove down on Saturday to exchange them for a larger size. The guy I spoke to gave me an unbelievable attitude about exchanging them for the same product in an XL (at the same cost). He acted like it was outrageous for me to think that they could handle that kind of transaction and treated me with a great deal of disrespect. At no point did he make any attempt to find a way to accommodate me. He seemed to be trying his hardest to find a reason he couldn't work with me. I later learned that he is the owner of the company. I will never shop here again after being treated so poorly. I would caution anyone who is thinking of purchasing from this place. There are countless other online paintball stores as well as many great local shops in the Los Angeles area. Go there instead. read more
