Store got a lot of guns and accessories to choose from. The price is competitive and reasonable. The owner jokingly said he will explain to me in details how to operate the airsoft safety after buying the gun. I just wished he treated his customers better and not prey on lack of knowledge about airsoft. If you don't know much about airsoft, you will feel more stupid after talking to the owner, then he will educate you. You don't know how you will feel. You get insulted for not knowing much and educated after buying the gun.This review is to let the owner know that customers sometimes get offended. It may be unintentional but it can be improved. Jack the Tech gave a reasonable turn around time, to only then have it ready in less than a week. The price was more than reasonable considering the amount of hours i spent not knowing what's the issue, trouble shooting with limited equipment. AEX is now located in the Victoria business park. You must use google maps to get there or you will end up inside a gated community. You will pass two closed gates before finding the main entrance so don't give up. They sell everything you will need to airsoft. AEX also services guns and will get them back to you in a week or two. I don't know much about airsoft guns but Jack and Andrew are there to help point you in the right direction. The prices for gear are pretty competitive.I was about to purchase parts from Amazon thinking it would be cheaper but I was pleasantly surprised that AEX was cheaper for gun bags, tracers, vests, and batteries. read more

I visited their Torrance location way back in 2014 or so with some friends when I was barely getting into airsoft. It was the only airsoft place that was close as the next closest one would be about 20+ miles away. The experience overall at the time was awful due to bad staff. Fast forward to 2023 I learned that they've moved a lot closer to me and I decided to check it out as I was getting back into airsoft. The first thought when I came in was that it was tiny, way smaller than the storefront they had in Torrance. I was greeted by Andrew and the two of us talked for a bit before I decided to purchase a few things to maintain several of my airsoft guns. The next time I came in I brought in a gun for repair as it was not functioning correctly and locked up quite a bit. They attempted to fix it on the spot by lubing a few areas but it did not resolve the issue. It was checked in and Jack told me that it would be about two weeks before I got it back as they were backed up. I was fine with it as I wasn't planning to use it for a while anyway. I came back a couple of days later as I was wanting to pick up a new gun and was informed by Jack that he had completed the work already. I checked it out in the store and was surprised by how much better it was improved. The next few times I came to the shop I talked with Jack and another employee (Sorry I don't recall the name currently) about building up a Hi Capa. Each time I was there they were more helpful than before. I managed to complete most of the gun but got frustrated at the frame, I took it in and the employee and Jack both inspected it, advising that I would need to sand it down in order for the slide and frame to be able to work together. I wasn't comfortable with doing the work myself as I tend to sand a little too much. I left it with them and they quoted me about two and a half weeks. I get a call the next day saying that they were able to get it mostly done and would be able to pickup by the end of day. Each time I came into the shop I end up staying pass their closing time. Their customer service still remains great despite that fact. I've been in several stores and worked in one where they try to get the customers out by closing and try not to stay pass closing. With that said I appreciate their customer service and will be back here more! The only thing that sucks is that they're not opened during the weekends. read more

The salesman there made the experience feel like a chore. he kept trying to sell me ANYTHING I was looking at and tried getting me to buy the most expensive things immediately. And when I asked to see cheaper things he literally sighed and said I was "too picky". Wouldn't let me look for anything by myself and just kept pressuring me to buy things. Besides that chud, the place has a lot of cool upgrade options for aap01s and Hicapas. The tech was a cool dude. Jeff I think? he gave me a bunch of tips for maintaining my guns and built me a HopUp and barrel on the spot. I recommend only going if you know exactly what you want. Cool new store front in the Carson area by the Freeway. They usually have what I need and if not they can order it. Friendly Customer service from Jack who's always there to help out with any questions and also the manager Andrew. Sometimes the prices differ from their website but just watch out for it and get a price match. No longer have a lounge but it's better to just buy your stuff and enjoy your Airsoft in the field! read more
