I really enjoyed the staff's attitude and the field itself (maybe the field had way too many corners? it was hard to move anywhere at times) Staff had a good attitude when it came to safety. But safety lacked a lot when it came to BB weight and rechrono. There was clearly a guy using a Black TM Hi Capa with overweight BBs and higher FPS I know this because none of the other shots from any other players gave me any bleeding injuries other than that one guy and another HPA guy. For the HPA guy, it's clear that he turned up his FPS after some time since he also gave me bleeders. There were also some people shooting through and running through the Red Dead Zone and the ref didn't even catch that until I pointed it out. There should really be 2 refs on the field at one time. It feels like BB weight should be pointed out on the websites rules and stricter regulations should be taken against tinkering with your gun after getting chrono, especially for HPA systems. EDIT response to owner: Some places will zip tie the valve/adjustment knobs such that players wouldn't be able to adjust the pressure of the HPA after chrono. The player in question was using a pistol that looked very similar to a paintball gun, except without the feeding tray on top. The gun had an HPA tank attached to the bottom and could be used like a stock. As mentioned in the main part of my review, my and my friends only ever had bruises that bled when shot by this one HPA player and the player with the Hi Capa. read more

While everyone is reviewing about how amazing their airsoft games are, I am here to review about the gym and archery -- since I have never played airsoft yet. Anyway, their gym is at a very affordable price, and it's usually rather empty; and, that is something I love because it feels like I'm working out in a private gym. Best place to play airsoft ever! My home airsoft field! Very friendly they helped me fix 2 of my pistols it took over 3 weeks to fix and all they wanted was a thank you in return. My son wanted to experience airsoft at the time he was 12 so I did a little research and picked this field due to it being close to us as there isn't very many options available. The first time I rented gear/gun/protection "full battle rattle" my son had a blast we knew it was going to be something we both wanted to get into and while my son ran his first set of games. I got to speak with Gabe who from day 1 has absolutely gone above and beyond to make every day we go the best experience possible and every single employee from the owner to the kid doing chrono (fps check on all airsoft used) has been friendly respectful and completely professional even when some people have been quite the opposite in their treatment of this field and other patrons that have come to have a good time with family and friends. I can tell you about the rules here and how much better I think it is compared to Tac City or wherever else but people will find that for themselves it's not hard to understand the difference between N1 and other establishments which are completely fine in their own right. However this field show young men how to be men. How to be honest. How to be accountable for your actions and mindful of the decisions you make and how it affects others. Other places for airsoft show people Of all ages a fun place to experience a great sport with friends and family. N1 does all those and 1 single thing more that other places simply don't...raises men and women to be the best people society needs. And EVERYONE that plays at this field go hard so toughen up buttercup it's only plastic bbs it's not that serious! read more

This indoor airsoft field is *fantastic*! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is electric and welcoming. The staff and refs are top-notch -- knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about the sport. They care about every player's experience and are always rotating game modes and mixing up teams to keep things fresh and exciting. Time management is also excellent. Games start quickly, breaks are reasonable, and the day flows smoothly without long periods of downtime -- something a lot of other fields struggle with. The *only* downside is the air quality inside. It gets pretty muggy, especially during the day. For the best experience, I recommend showing up after 6pm when it tends to cool off a bit and feel more breathable. Still, even with that minor con, I'll always recommend this field to both new and experienced players. This is how an airsoft field should be run! read more

Our whole family comes here at least once a week. It's my son's most favorite place to spend his time at. Even before he started playing. His dad's been playing since our son was about 3 years old. We used to go watch. The employees there were the sweetest. Great customer service and always made sure my son and i had a good time even though we weren't playing. It was a place my husband would go to outside of work to unwind and just play with friends. My son is 10 now and started to play when he was 8 years old. Our family always go together and almost always make new friends every time we go. The people there just make it such a positive environment. They always help each other whether it's helping fix a broken part for a kid or even just giving tips on how to play better. The owner and manager there are such good people. They really watch out for the players. Especially the kids. It's always safety first and then making sure everyone is having a good time. We're blessed to be a part of this community and I'm so grateful that there is a field like this in LA for us to play at! read more

I am a casual player who gets to play every other month or so and each time I go here I love the experience. This place is for casual players who follow the rules and leave the egos out of the game, you're playing with TOYS. When I have seen a bad encounter it's either the person who decided to play the game didn't know that this game can hurt and that N1 is known for its no engagement distance(which I love btw). It's not for the weak but I've seen a 10-year-old be more of a man on getting hit by a BB than an actual grown one at this place. And or that they just don't know how to follow rules and that actions have consequences(I've seen people cheat and play the victim when field calls them out). I used to be a casual at Wackcity for years but had WAY MORE bad encounters there with over shooting and favorites getting away with straight up being bullies to people at times. played on 5/13/26 worst first experience ever people were calling there hits late the ref had bad attitude since the beginning and when we got there we got our gun ready for chrono i Literally have a hpa m4 mag adapter for hpa an had my hpa hose showing with my backpack on i was obviously running a hpa pistol and the ref told me to remove my mag so i did and all of the sudden after 5 games later he said did i chrono it with hpa an i said no he didnt , he told me to remove my mag and after those cheaters complained about the chrono was higher than the green gas my gun shot over 300 with green gas an didnt even pass 300 with my hpa tank an also calling "stupid" after closing the door when we have people in our group that was in the field at the moment who heard him clearly and we even told him we were first timers an was my first time running a hpa setup , yes i confronted him but in a calm way but it's cool if he just wanted to make it a big deal an kicked me off the field for asking him why he called me "stupid". read more

So this business is claiming that they actually do consistently check players weapons and gear, "every single round". It's been almost two weeks since I visited this field, and because they can't properly run their business, I still have open sores on my arms that refuse to heal. They're most likely gonna make up some bullshit story about how this normally doesn't happen and blah blah blah, I have been to this field multiple times over the past couple months, and I now have almost 20 little scars across my body from this field. If you have young kids or anyone that might have medical conditions that would like to play, take them somewhere else, protect yourself and your loved ones. Excellent field, friendly staff, chill players. I go here practically every week and it is probably the best CQB field in SoCal. The weekly layout changes keep things fresh, interesting, and a novel experience each week. Most regular players are very skilled and experienced, but also very chill. The matches run rapid fire fast, therefore there is little down time with plenty of reps, incentivizing players to go at it. Only complaint I have is that the field can feel cramped with a lot of players, but sometimes that's a good thing. All in all, highly recommend, whether you're in it for a good time, looking to get good, or both. read more

We decided to try Project N1 after playing at our home field at CPP for some time as it's only about 50 minutes from Palmdale and we wanted to check out other fields with this one being on our list. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly by the man in the front and instructed to fill out waivers. After paying, we received our gear and prepared for chrono. Pricing was very fair and affordable. Our first issue came during the briefing. Ref was very chummy with regulars, with little attention given to newcomers or casual players. Rules were not clearly stated, and there was a comment from the referee that if we broke a rule, he "would shoot us," which was a first. During our game, we encountered a significant safety concern. One player repeatedly hit me from no more than 6-7 feet and both hits drawing blood and running down my arm, and couple times more on my neck - with the field's claimed limits of 350 FPS and 1.12 joules and hurting significantly more. For comparison, at other fields, including Battle Labs, similar and but even with allowing higher FPS resulted in only 2 blood drawing hits from a point blank - face to face distance shots - and a couple of blood blisters by the end of the night. This was either a chrono calibration issue or not regulating bb weights. By the end of the day, I counted 14 hits that drew blood and 26 blood blisters - the worst and unsafest experience yet. Additionally, some players were rude and riding their egos, making negative comments about our play style and creating tension. My girlfriend's sister, who was trying the sport for the first time, was repeatedly team-killed, which ruined her experience. Of course not necessarily the fault of the field itself, but this is the community that is here regularly. Team balancing was another concern. After around 40 rounds, our team only won about four, and the referee made no effort to adjust teams or balance gameplay. At the end of the night, the ref's response to my thanks for reffing our games monotone and sounding bothered with a "uh-huh" while laughing and smiling with the regulars all night long, which felt unwelcoming--especially after the long drive. The person at the front desk once again was friendly and wished us a safe trip, but the overall experience was very negative. Therefore, while there were a few friendly players and the man upfront being kind, safety issues, lack of clear rules with no briefing and asking for everyone's attention, unbalanced teams, and unwelcoming behavior make this field a difficult choice for casual or new players. We would recommend newcomers consider other fields with clearer regulations and a safer, more inclusive environment. read more

Started this hobby at this spot probably 3 months ago. Because of this place i fell in love with the hobby/sport compared to other places. Refs will hear you out, will check and call out anything suspicious. While my experiences have been stellar, I've seen mixed feedback from others. I was lucky enough to have been invited for a group game for three birthday boys out in El Monte. The group arrived a little before the 930a, per the suggestion of N1, to get chrono'd and prep for the game: but no one was at the facility. After nearly two hours of waiting and phone calls, the group leader had enough and we left after deciding to head to Battlelab in Ontario (review to follow: way better experience). Around 1p our group leader got a call from N1, essentially saying "our bad" as an explanation as to why no one was at the facility for our group. They cited a "system change" as the reason why we fell through the cracks. I am sure our paid-in-full monies did not fall through the cracks! The majority of the time was wasted waiting at the venue and members of the birthday party had to head out and others had to leave for work. Worst experience EVER playing at an airsoft field. read more

My 10 year old nephew is constantly begging for his next day here. He's been elsewhere and as a tiny human, this is the one place he's felt safe and welcomed. He knows what airsofting entails-you WILL get shot so make sure to shoot first. If it hurts, walk it off and do better on the next set. He's been asking to have his upcoming birthday here because of how much he loves mingling with "the big kids" on top of meeting ones close to his age and "playing level." If you want to airsoft in a non-toxic environment, play here. If not, go to Tac. That place was better when it was off Ramona. Stop whining on Yelp because you can't hold yourself accountable. I would not recommend this airsoft field due to a poor experience with both the staff and the atmosphere of regular players. The regulars showed a crazy level of arrogance that made the overall experience unpleasant and unenjoyable. Keep in mind i wear pant ball pants with a thick jersey and never had an issue the unfair play here was a major problem. I was left with welts that drew blood and shouldn't be dismissed by signing a waiver. My specific issues were with the enforcement of rules. They only did chronos for the first game of the day, and it seemed like it was more strictly enforced on newer players. The regulars were allowed to continue playing with what appeared to be more powerful guns after this initial check and using heavy bbs, leading to the unfair play I experienced. Teams can definitely be more balanced but wasn't too much of an issue. I played with the same teams for over five hours. A simple solution like asking if anyone is willing to swap teams or re-drawing team bands would have made the games more far more enjoyable and fair to everyone. read more

i think i've written a review here a year ago when i first started airsoft. This is what i consider my local. One thing that I really appreciated from yesterday was I misplaced my Odin Black Speed Loader ($50) and is out of stock usually.. Well i ask the owner, Gabe, and he told me "does it have tracer bbs?" You know, i know he didn't have to hold onto it, he could've used it for his business but instead he put it in the back so incase someone asks. I thank him!! I'm grateful for this field and the experiences i get to have. I have a year membership, and will get another one once it's up. I just started coming here and signed up for a 1 year membership. Overall an okay experience. the staff are very friendly, helpful and make the games fun. They stay on top of cheaters to ensure everyone has a good time. One of the big issues with this place is Friendly fire. I am constantly getting hit by teammates because they cannot clearly see the tape thats provided to distinguish teammates from enemies. A remedy for that would be to provide glow in the dark arm bands that I've seen at alot of other CQB airsoft spots use. This place gets really overcrowded on the weekends and you will just get sprayed by teammates over and over again. I hope they spend the extra money to remedy this. Another thing might just be a personal issue but I hate it when they dim the lights. You cannot see anything at all and you throw that in with overcrowding and not being able to separate teammates from foe and its a recipe for disaster. Ill keep going for the rest of my membership year but I probably wont renew unless they address the friendly fire issue. read more
