Decent batting cage, nothing fancy but gets the job done to hit some balls. Ibby was the gentleman working at the batting cage, he was nice and answered all my questions.

Great smaller batting cage located in the back of the public park near the horse stables. One of the only cages with 80-90 mph pitch as well as slow softball - pay in increments of 15 mins or discounted hours. Nice friendly staff. Plenty of park parking.

I've been to this park several times and had never seen batting cages. Turns out they are tucked in the back near the barn yard! My boyfriend comes here frequently and had recommended it. I figured there would be a long wait since the park was packed on a Friday night. There was no line and we got it to ourselves. They have 5 cages for different speeds and they also provide bats and helmets. I would recommend bringing along batting gloves. They sell slots of time in 15 minute increments I believe. I had fun! Can't wait to go back.

Not a very nice place. Very basic. They give you a bat and gloves but not the best quality.

Although the main window was closed, we were greeted across the way by a gentleman who immediately came over to check us in. The gentleman was multitasking around the area but at the same time, very attentive to my inquiries and made sure we were taken care of. A week later, we decided to book some lessons- their website is very easy to navigate and the pricing is very reasonable. When we showed up to our first session we were setup with Coach Reuben. To my surprise, Coach Reuben is also the same gentleman than helped us the very first day we came by. Coach Reuben has been very attentive to my son's coaching and provides me feedback on what we can work on in between sessions. Coach Reuben has an unwavering passion in what he does at The Hitting Zone and it shows everytime we see him. He provides exciting lessons for my son and even gives me a few pointers I can learn too. Coach Reuben is what makes the difference when it comes to batting cages and coaching; he brings everyone to the zone- The Hitting Zone :)

I get there and there's already someone there and they still have another round left. Go back to cashier who then sends me to cage 2. Go in and definitely was not slow pitch arch softball. I ended up getting hit by a ball which cut and bruised my hand, since I wasn't expecting a faster pitch baseball. End up getting in line with the cashier again now behind a couple and I ask if I can get cage 1 since I was originally sent there and the people had left. Mentioned how cage 2 was not slow softball and the cashier kid told an older gentleman behind the counter that it kept switching to baseball. They send me to cage 3 since they gave cage 1 to the couple before me. Eventhough I had already paid and got sent to 1 beforehand. Cage 3 was a waste. I spent majority of the time at 3 waiting for the machine to reload, while cage 1 was batting with no issue. Needs an upgrade since the balls go to cage 1 first and when they finally came to 3, they would bounce off the rail. I was only able to hit like 5 at a time when it should have been 15 per round. Bad experience overall especially since it was practically empty when I went

Now at 13U, he's hitting .480 and one of the best hitters on his team. I can't say enough good things about our experience. It's a no nonsense facility, extremely busy and you see everyone putting in the work. From Manny Jr. , Manny Sr., to Kristina, everyone working there is so nice. Manny Jr. is really good about finding an age appropriate approach that will work for your child. He is direct, he doesn't coddle, and yet he builds confidence in a way my son really believed he could be a hitter. Even now at 13, whenever he has a big day, he can't wait to share it with Manny Jr....and when he has a rough day at the plate, he will ask to see Manny. There's no substitute for when your child has a hitting coach they trust. They discuss mechanics, game situations, and the importance of school because wanting to play baseball in college can't happen without good grades. I can't recommend the facility enough. If you are serious about committing to your child getting better in baseball or softball, Triple Play is a great place to start.

And this takes the cake as my all time favorite. The courses have great holes, with a large variety of simple classic style holes. But the place really shines in decor and atmosphere. It really leans into a more vintage vibe, considering this place is nearly 60 years old the grounds are immaculate, which is unheard of anywhere near LA. Amazing buildings and hedge arches dot the real turfed landscape. Vintage music plays out of old megaphones. Did I mention the place is massive? The parking lot holds maybe 400 cars, but expect it to be nearly full. It has vintage bumper boats, an arcade and 4 18 hole courses. Pricing is fair, 16.50 a person, and parking prices can vary but are usually free. Whoever maintains the grounds needs a serious raise, everything here is just perfect! COME AT NIGHT. All the buildings, obstacles, decor and equipment were clean and well maintained and the water features all had fresh, clean water flowing through them, no signs of algae or stagnation anywhere. There were a few signs of aging around some of the cups and on some of the putting surfaces, but it is to be expected. I really wanted to score a 4.5, but gave it the full five because the mini-golf courses were so well-maintained. (Since we were there for a benefit and didn't pay admission, I cannot comment on the pricing or the relative value.)
