There were some branches placed on one of the fields, so that was a perfect spot to dine. The main stage had a good location. There was a lot of lawn seating in front and the audio was clear in the area. Of course at around 9:00 pm, they launched the firework shows. This lasted for around 15-20 minutes with a variety of fireworks. This was a really great event and would recommend it!

They have a small side and a bigger kid side and my son enjoyed playing on both sides. I have noticed unsavory characters in the parking lot before but they left us alone. There seemed to be a restroom in the community center area but it was locked when we went so when my son had to use the restroom, it was time to go! There was also a nice little walking trail as well and baseball courts that we didn't use.

The park borders a school, and the school parking lot was open. There is also a parking lot on Walnut avenue. A snack bar was open and sold everything that youth sporting snack bars sell (water, soda, candy, nachos, etc). There is a park restroom and a couple of portables. In regards to the spectators, parents, and coaches, they were friendly and good sports. Overall, this park is able to facilitate a whole lot of youth baseball games simultaneously. The facility seems to be part of the San Dimas high school proper (insert Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure reference here...) and appears to be a first-class facility for track and field, baseball, football, and other outdoor activities. The field is a blue all weather track, with large bleachers on either side. And array of solar panels adjacent to the 57 freeway, right next to an old windmill, give this place a sense of past, present, and future. There are ample restrooms, warm-up facilities, training rooms for both home and visiting teams, and plenty of space to spread out. There appears to be a parking area south of the track, but we parked up north of the high school, and walked him. Either seems to work out just fine. Signage indicates that the truck is open to the public at times, but events such as this preempt any public access.

We arrived early to reserve the picnic area (first come, first serve) and there is no charge. This park is well maintained, offers so much to all park guests, is safe, and offers so much shade on account of do many large trees. Park visitors always seem to be relaxed and super friendly when spending time here. Be it while playing basketball, softball, soccer, playing tennis, pickleball, walking, jogging or simply relaxing under a tree or out in the sun etc.. being outdoors puts people in a good mood and this is one of the reasons I visit this park 5-6 times per week. This is by far, my favorite park of them all

Love the fact the parking is close to the park entrance and several co-located picnic benches for those with mobility issues. There was a small rose garden along the walking path in front of the stage, with built in benches around it in case you need a seat. Lots of beautiful open grass space, incredible playground, and impressive an coffee stand. This is what our communities look like when we invest in them. Great job La Puente local government and residents. You all rock! The basketball courts looked fun as well! When I enrolled my child in the Parent and Me class, I specifically asked whether both parents could attend. I was clearly told yes. I was also informed the class would be held at the playground. When we arrived at the playground, no one was there. I had to call to find out the class was actually being held inside. After going inside, the instructor informed us that only one parent was allowed to attend. Roxanna then referenced the flyer and stated that "Parent and Me" meant only one parent, insinuating that I misunderstood or could not read it correctly. I have attended many Mommy and Me and Parent and Me classes in the past, and when only one parent is allowed, it is clearly specified on the flyer. This flyer did not state that limitation. She then told me that I should have contacted Tiny Tots directly for information rather than relying on the front desk. This was my first time visiting this park. There was no way for me to know that the information provided by staff was incorrect or that it was my responsibility to verify it elsewhere. The conflicting information, poor communication, and dismissive attitude made this a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I hope staff receive better training so families are given accurate information and treated respectfully.

The bathrooms and are large individual stalls with changing areas and a family restroom. There's even an outdoor shower to rinse off after using the splash pad. There's a limited amount of tables. Whenever I go the covered bench area always has a party going on. I don't see any phone numbers to call to reserve so I'm not sure if it's first come first served but there is a large concrete area and I've seen people bring their own chairs and tables.
