I actually enjoy taking my children here as they love the plane and keeps them occupied. I'm not sure about the cleanliness of the bathrooms, I'm not sure about the changing table in men's bathroom was there. I definitely will continue to return. read more

Came here for my daughters soccer game on a Saturday morning. The place wasn't too bad, with a small parking lot, and overflowing dumpster with all sorts of stuff, dragged halfway out into a parking space, a significant homeless population, and a makeshift soccer field featuring 300 ft.² of sprinkler flooding in the north east corner. Water polo anyone? There's a playground here for the kitties, featuring a simulated fighter jet of some kind, and one of those workout areas with stations that use your body weight. Most of them were not broken. Most of them. The only funny thing about it was that the other teams coach had previously talk down about our home field a couple of weeks previous, between volleying insults at his players and saying things to the kids that would not be tolerated in my line of work. But I guess that's none of my business, and if you're a get over there on the swings, there's probably no better place on earth. Oh, and lots of palm trees. And PokéStops. I love that this park has its own gated in toddler play area. My 22month old daughter loved it. Park seemed clean and safe.

This park is great for the kids to play on it. Baseball diamond is very nice and keeps up . But smack area. The city needs to update this area. And bathroom. If money is short for the city budget .May you so ask West Covina parents and business to help paint it and clean it up for the kids . Update smack area. It bad. read more

I want to love this place!! My parents grew up at this park! The airplane is an icon of West Covina. But the vibe here is so bad! There's cops driving through the parking lots, often. You can say "they're keeping the park safe". Safe from what?!? Covina/West Co. are safe communities for the most part. This park just tends to attract the wrong folks. Im sorry but dudes on bikes, with no kids, meeting other randoms is not normal park activity. Just beware. read more

Beautiful park with Los of space and benches to sit. Has a wide grass area to kick the ball around. A pretty cool giant airplane for kids to play all over. There's even a smaller toddler/ baby area specially sectioned off away from the big kid area. There's trees with shade and the parking is spacious. read more

Was looking for basketball here but I guess it's in the adjacent school which you can't really get to. The playground was nice, the standout being the plane obviously, great for photos! They had a little workout station too. read more

Clean - no trash anywhere. Bark in the playground area is in good condition. Grass is green, trimmed and has been maintained. Two Play Areas - smaller gated area I am calling the toddler area. Good for kids under 5. Can't run out with the gates and different things for them to play with. Picnic Area - I counted at least 16 benches. Spread out so you have options if its crowded. Public Restroom - clean. Very close to the playgrounds. Parking - lots of parking. It looks like it could be connected to a school? I see a baseball field and basketball courts. read more

Super fun playground for kids. I was in the area and stopped by to take my nephew for a bit. He loved it. Nice playground area and well shaded! Even a cool airplane which he absolutely loved! He spent almost an hour running around the park. Very kid friendly. read more

Three stars because I have tons of memories with my children here and my youngest shared her first laugh here but recently we noticed that the park is filthier and the worst part is that there are roaches inside the famous giant airplane! Huge roaches that everyone has been complaining about so it's been months since we've gone back. read more

Palm View Park - Parks Near Me - West Covina, California

This park is average size, not too small, and has adequate play area for the kids. It even has 2 separate play areas, one set for the bigger kids and a partially gated one for younger toddlers etc. It's nice enough on weekdays, pretty quiet in the daytime but after 5pm it's a whole different story! After 5pm on weekdays MANY different teams of kids playing soccer will converge on this park and completely take it over. I'm not talking about designated soccer areas during a league game, I'm talking they just set up EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE they want and start kicking their ball around. They will practice and kick their ball around even if you are still picnicking on the floor with your baby. The parents are ghetto enough to see their kids kicking balls back and forth and pegging picnicking families and say NOTHING. Seriously, it becomes completely overrun and is not safe to be sitting there on the grass with your baby. read more

This is such a cool park! They have public workout equipment, enough to do any full workout you may want. No weights, but good enough. Big playground for kids to keep busy with an awesome airplane the climb on! Plenty of street parking and a dedicated parking lot as well. Great park! read more

Best park, ever...clean (even the rest rooms!), plenty of shade from tall trees and picnic shelters, LOTS of picnic tables/benches, lots of parking close to playground/picnic area (if you forgot something in the car, it's not a long trek/ordeal to go retrieve it). Plus, it has an airplane to play on. I love this park! read more

I was driving in the area with my kids and came upon this cute park - what captured my attention was the airplane! This place has two play areas. One seems to be for school age kids while the jungle themed one is for kids 2-5yrs old. Both play areas have wood chips. As my kids were playing I noticed lots of trash - wrappers of candy, gum, ice cream. The airplane was tagged up with a indecent genital pic and just random tagging up names on other play areas spots. Restroom break called and that place was not the cleanest place. I was lucky to have gotten a drop of hand soap. Shade was another issue. There isn't ANY! we spent about 30min and said "see-ya". read more

I love this park! I remember coming here a few times as a kid for family events (bday parties) or just to come! It was so big to me and the airplane was huge! I just started bringing my toddlers here and idk if it's just me but I am pretty sure the park has changed the playground up , I have a bad memory but I just really remember the airplane and not much else. Continuing on , this park is great for all ages. They have a small playground with a gate , for babies my kids love playing here but of course they see the big plane and other kids on the other so they play on both. It's a nice park with lots of grassy space, a few shelter areas, baseball diamond, and playground with sandbox. Coolest thing is the rocket ship in the play area. = ) Parking is abundant with 2 lots to choose from. When we went on this Sunday morning, there were already people roping off their areas of choice at 9AM! By the time we left at 12PM, there were two moon bounces set up. Must be a popular place to have a get together because people were trucking in chairs, tables, etc. There are a couple water fountains around and the bathroom facilities are ehh. Theres always a good amount of people here, kids playing, people walking dogs, games going on. I've never stepped in dog mess, but I've experienced at least one dog off leash each time I've gone there, so I just wish there would be somebody there to enforce the leash law. read more

Airplane Park as I know it. They should change the name from "Palm View Park" to "Airplane Park" . Everytime I'm close to this park I get flashbacks when I was a kid flying that airplane into some mysterious place. Great Park!!! read more

A decent park with plenty of open grassy space. A lot of parking available. The playground is pretty nice with a cool airplane to climb on.

The park for the most part is clean. The play area is ok. The plane in the middle is my son's favorate. It's a solid 3 stars. I would have gave them one more if there was a few more slides or plastic horses for the kids to get on. read more

I really like this park, is peaceful and most parents are watching their kids which makes it a safer environment for kids preventing discord and fighting (well you know how kids are!). The playground itself does not have a lot of shade but there are shaded areas where to relax, not much seating though bring a blanket or chair. Park is clean, some people do bring their pets, bathrooms and drinking fountain are very close to the playground which is great for kids. The outdoor gym is a cross the playground so you can do a few exercises while keeping an eye on your kids. read more
