Cute little park. Very clean, in a nice quiet neighborhood. Basketball court, restrooms, shaded picnic seating.

We came here to burn off calories after a heavy brunch. Rancho Park is one of several situated in our Rosedale community and this is one of our more frequented ones because they have a swing for babies and their slides are suitable for smaller children. The playground structure is shaped like a fire truck, likely an homage to the nearby fire station just a stone's throw away. There are 4 swings - 2 for babies, another 2 for bigger kids and adults. There is a roofed area with 2 picnic tables but no barbecue grill. I have seen families spread blankets on the grassy lot for picnic purposes. I have also come across some ladies who do yoga exercises. For those who shoot hoops, there is a half basketball court. It is a small park but it is clean, well-maintained, not crowded and just the right size and atmosphere for those who want a laid-back playtime with their kids.

Other than folks mistakenly referring to it as 'Finkbinder', we love our local G-town park…read more I think the additional 'd' might come from an old 50's themed restaurant in the Village called Fender Benders (sp?), which closed many years ago - and folks confusing the two. But, that said, only old Glendorans would be making that mistake and yet I hear folks of all ages add the 'd'. The park has lots of amenities we've used since our kids were born and even before... - summer concerts and movies in the park - birthday or event areas (Scouting) - playground - tennis court (other side taken by pickleball :( - skate park - sports fields - horseshoes - volleyball - community center And more. We love walking through the park on the way to the Village. If you haven't been, worth checking out pretty much any day of the week. So many fond memories created at Finkbiner. Even Pokémon Go events, haha.

You can move all around this park. 5/5 Amenities From pickleball, to the playground or doing Ollie's on the skate park. There are a lot of activities you can do at this location. There are courts for pickleball or tennis, fields for baseball or soccer, picnic tables all over for you to take a load off or paved walkways for you to get your steps in. 5/5 Trees Nothing beats having large trees to give you shade on sunny days. Rainy days are a different story. 5/5 Parking Parking all around the park. You can even park right next to the kids playground. Overall solid park to fit whatsoever your heart desires. So be sure to move and Psalm 119:89, God bless

I came looking for a park for my kids to play and found this hidden gem tucked adjacent to South…read moreHills. This park hugs the edges of the hill and faces the Dalton wash. It's pretty calm, quiet and serene due to the low traffic which is at end of a cul da sac. The park has a few hiking trails trail called the Dalton Wash Trail and the Toyon trail which are simple, but at the same time fun. The playground looks pretty new and in good condition. I love how it's covered with rubber materials as cushion as opposed to sand and wood chips. It's cleaner on the kids and safer if they fall. The dog park is also in good condition with shading, seating and a small obstacle course it (sections separated for small and large dogs). There is also lots of natural shading due to the large trees with picnic benches. Additionally, there are also a restrooms on site with a water fountain. Everything about the park is great because it has everything you need within a small space.

There are lots of deviating paths, but you don't get lost here as most side paths are just viewpoints that end rather quickly. I went here with my mountain bike starting from the eastern side of High Country Drive entrance (taking Hunters Trail road). I recommend entering this side as it's easier to go uphill on cement and do most downhill towards the exit of Bonnie Cove Drive. Amazing views at many points of the trail. Some parts, you'll hear the deafening 210 freeway and electric clicks of the overhanging ropes from electric towers. Other areas, you'll be shielded and it'll seem like you're no longer in a city. NOTE: the trail of Bonnie Cove is a little overgrown from the rain, so you'll smack into a lot of tall grasses and it's only like 1.5 ft wide now. Totally fun if you don't mind it. Lots of others are also overthrown, but I don't remember if they had names.
