The bridge has been one of the most popular locations where I've seen people take photos in.

I love this community park. It's a great spot for walking, roller skating, reading and just minding your own business lol Recently, I've been noticing that the bridge here has become a very popular spot for photo sessions and it's wonderful to see this. However, I recently became disappointed when I saw blue confetti and a balloon left behind on the bridge after what looked like a gender reveal photo session. I wish people were more mindful and respectful of public spaces. An animal or toddler could easily ingest this balloon that was left behind and could cause serious harm.

I really enjoyed this park. Pretty well maintained and has a parking lot. Not sure busy just a few people walking with their dogs. You can run decently here where 3ish full laps is a mile. Enjoyed the scenery and really peaceful park.

This park is really nice! It has picnic seating areas and some by a fireplace that might be cool for a party. Went here on a weekday when the sun was going down, so it was pretty empty. There's some nice flowers and a well kept paved short trail around the park.

Awesome little nature park in Baldwin Park, located right in the middle of its residential area. It has a small trail walk area, some simple exercise areas, log climbing for kids from 3 to 12 years, and a picnic area. My boys love it very much.

    Is it open on Sundays?

Should be always open before it gets dark as far as I know.

Many cars were lined up before the recreation area opened for the day, so it took a while to find parking. Many teams found their patch of grass to pitch up tents for the better half of the day, while it seems those who weren't part of the festival were partitioned off. From around 7am to 4pm, a lively environment of DJs and live music, jersey vendors, drumming competitions, costume contests, and even Zumba, a nice mix of distractions between all the waiting between heats. The park's maintenance team were on hand cleaning the restrooms, emptying trash cans, and driving to and from whenever they were needed. Some of the dragon boat teams and vendors also drove into the booth areas which made it kinda dangerous with so many people. There was even a close call of an infant almost getting run over. In terms of dragon boat, participating in 250m sprints was a positive experience. Much different sense of urgency compared to the usual 500m.

We arrived early to reserve the picnic area (first come, first serve) and there is no charge. This park is well maintained, offers so much to all park guests, is safe, and offers so much shade on account of do many large trees. Park visitors always seem to be relaxed and super friendly when spending time here. Be it while playing basketball, softball, soccer, playing tennis, pickleball, walking, jogging or simply relaxing under a tree or out in the sun etc.. being outdoors puts people in a good mood and this is one of the reasons I visit this park 5-6 times per week. Covina Park contains six basketball hoops, public exercise equipment, two tennis courts (w/ pickle-ball lines), public ping pong table (without paddles or ball), horseshoe gaming area (without horseshoes), play obstacle course, shiny playground, swimming pools, baseball diamond, and much more. Truly, Covina Park has blossomed into a popular local destination. When having a "rest day" from the gym, I select Covina Park for my daily cardio/walking. Recently, Covina Park feels very safe and welcoming. Commonly, there are only local residents or health-nuts getting their daily health fresh air. Speaking of "health-nut" I observed groups of squirrels happily munching by their homes. Covina Park not only has the luxury of having a soft trail, it's also accompanied by many tall trees for shade. Covina Park is very clean, well-maintained, and contains plentiful parking. I am very appreciative of the time and money invested in developing such a lovely, public recreational space. I happily recommend. 5 out of 5

When I enrolled my child in the Parent and Me class, I specifically asked whether both parents could attend. I was clearly told yes. I was also informed the class would be held at the playground. When we arrived at the playground, no one was there. I had to call to find out the class was actually being held inside. After going inside, the instructor informed us that only one parent was allowed to attend. Roxanna then referenced the flyer and stated that "Parent and Me" meant only one parent, insinuating that I misunderstood or could not read it correctly. I have attended many Mommy and Me and Parent and Me classes in the past, and when only one parent is allowed, it is clearly specified on the flyer. This flyer did not state that limitation. She then told me that I should have contacted Tiny Tots directly for information rather than relying on the front desk. This was my first time visiting this park. There was no way for me to know that the information provided by staff was incorrect or that it was my responsibility to verify it elsewhere. The conflicting information, poor communication, and dismissive attitude made this a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I hope staff receive better training so families are given accurate information and treated respectfully.

There is a cafe/ convenience store across from the campground where you can also purchase your day use park pass for $5. I experienced a foggy day, which gave a cooling effect to my hiking. Restrooms are vault toilets, so unpleasant smells and a mess are a given. The lake has lots of swampy algae, therefore not appropriate for swimming or water sports. However, they do allow fishing with permit. I am a nature enthusiast and it was saddening to see the lack of humans respect for nature, with graffiti and trash in some areas of the park. Crystal lake definitely could use more funding to preserve its natural beauty. The loveliest part is listening to woodpeckers as they work, watching an eagle fly above with a fish in its talons, and treading quietly not to startle the squirrel who is crossing my path. I suggest picking up a map with hiking trails from the rangers post or convenience store, before planning your day!
