Covid 19 injection. Stay safe / Stay healthy......
    Joseph W.

Just came to get my Covid 19 injection. The city staff had a nice set up for the Covid 19 injection. The Kaiser staff was very helpful / professional during my visit. The staff answered my questions regarding any questions that I had about obtaining the 2nd injection. Overall the visit at Morgan Park was a 5 STAR rating. Be safe / Stay health.

This park could do for some improvements. Let's start off by saying they could work on the little water park they have a few things not working. Beside that it's a nice little water park for the children to get wet at. The bathrooms need some deep cleaning! One toilet was clogged up nasty smell. And out of toilet paper! They have enough tables for people to sit and eat and enjoy the day! The place it self is pretty clean shocker. But there are a lot of homeless here which make me not wanna bring my child back. I saw maybe one cop come hang out in his car, they need to be walking around. Overall it's a nice neighborhood park for people to come down and enjoy they day. Just need a little improvements here and there.

Cool place every Thursday night during the summer to come and enjoy great bands in the park. It kicks off from 5:00 to 9:00 at night or until you get out of hand. Safe environment lots of families and local police are there as well to keep the peace. While your there you can also enjoy some food from various vendors and local restaurants. Local business are also set up too. Parking is a b**ch so you have to come early. Just don't forget to bring a chair and find some shade to beat the heat during the summertime. And did I mention it's free with no service charge added.

I rented senior center past weekend for my daughter's sweet 16. I would like to thank Ivette she was so attentive answered all my questions I went several times and Baldwin park staff were awesome and very friendly. The day of my daughter's party everything was set up perfect. Everything went smooth i would definitely rent hall again. Thank u!!!

Improved. Love the outdoor gym. The parents need to let their kids know the exercise equipments are not for playing on.

Location - Baldwin park. Next to a senior center? Didn't have a chance to walk around and see what else is there. People - I only saw Asians and Hispanic families. Saw lots of people walking their dogs and picking up their mistakes at least! Playgrounds - two. The little one had a shade built around it which was nice. The sitting area for parents had no shade so bring a hat and wear sunblock. Clean? - yes. Landscaping people were there today. Grass was green and lush. I will come back over the summer and try out the music in the park event.

Prior to Hollenbeck Park getting renovated we would come to Covina Park. 4/5 Family Events The park does offer family events in the summer (movies, concerts, etc). We've taken the kids to a few movies. 4/5 Recreation Renovated playground gives the kids much needed play. There is a padded walking path near Badillo Ave. Always a lot of people playing fútbol or catch in the open areas. 2/5 Bathrooms Well you do have to worry about this thing Outdated and always smells like urine. A good powerwash could help. 4/5 Parking Street parking available all around. This park doesn't have a designated parking lot. 3.75/5 Likelihood to Return While it's no longer our go to park it's still nice to be able to walk on a spongy trail. Hope they fix the bathrooms sometime in the future. Psalm 147:12, God bless and Stay Prayed Up

We arrived early to reserve the picnic area (first come, first serve) and there is no charge. This park is well maintained, offers so much to all park guests, is safe, and offers so much shade on account of do many large trees. Park visitors always seem to be relaxed and super friendly when spending time here. Be it while playing basketball, softball, soccer, playing tennis, pickleball, walking, jogging or simply relaxing under a tree or out in the sun etc.. being outdoors puts people in a good mood and this is one of the reasons I visit this park 5-6 times per week. This is by far, my favorite park of them all

Love the fact the parking is close to the park entrance and several co-located picnic benches for those with mobility issues. There was a small rose garden along the walking path in front of the stage, with built in benches around it in case you need a seat. Lots of beautiful open grass space, incredible playground, and impressive an coffee stand. This is what our communities look like when we invest in them. Great job La Puente local government and residents. You all rock! The basketball courts looked fun as well! When I enrolled my child in the Parent and Me class, I specifically asked whether both parents could attend. I was clearly told yes. I was also informed the class would be held at the playground. When we arrived at the playground, no one was there. I had to call to find out the class was actually being held inside. After going inside, the instructor informed us that only one parent was allowed to attend. Roxanna then referenced the flyer and stated that "Parent and Me" meant only one parent, insinuating that I misunderstood or could not read it correctly. I have attended many Mommy and Me and Parent and Me classes in the past, and when only one parent is allowed, it is clearly specified on the flyer. This flyer did not state that limitation. She then told me that I should have contacted Tiny Tots directly for information rather than relying on the front desk. This was my first time visiting this park. There was no way for me to know that the information provided by staff was incorrect or that it was my responsibility to verify it elsewhere. The conflicting information, poor communication, and dismissive attitude made this a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I hope staff receive better training so families are given accurate information and treated respectfully.

There is a cafe/ convenience store across from the campground where you can also purchase your day use park pass for $5. I experienced a foggy day, which gave a cooling effect to my hiking. Restrooms are vault toilets, so unpleasant smells and a mess are a given. The lake has lots of swampy algae, therefore not appropriate for swimming or water sports. However, they do allow fishing with permit. I am a nature enthusiast and it was saddening to see the lack of humans respect for nature, with graffiti and trash in some areas of the park. Crystal lake definitely could use more funding to preserve its natural beauty. The loveliest part is listening to woodpeckers as they work, watching an eagle fly above with a fish in its talons, and treading quietly not to startle the squirrel who is crossing my path. I suggest picking up a map with hiking trails from the rangers post or convenience store, before planning your day!
