My neighbor and I headed out to see Led Zepagain performing at the Street Market in the Park stage. When we arrived we were in shock on how many residents were sitting in their lawn chairs waiting for the concert to start. Senior center is fantastic so many classes brought out by my San Antonio college, April gave me wonderful information for my mother in law

Accidentally ended up in the area so decided to take my dogs for a walk here. Not particularly dog friendly but that's fine, not everywhere needs to accommodate dogs. The water fountains don't have a dog bowl and poop bags aren't restocked. No big deal. This park just serves as an expanse of grass to hang out in I suppose. There were quite a few people on a Thursday morning. Many homeless I'm guessing but not causing issues other than potentially littering. Pretty well maintained park otherwise, with gym equipment, tables, and a playground. On the small side so not much to be explored. Looks like lots of seniors come here to get their workouts in. read more

This is a nice park in the middle of the city. There are exercise machines you can use for free without going to the gym. Or you can just walk or jog on the pavement around the park. I just wish the people took better care of their park by throwing their trash in the bins and disposing of dog poop properly. read more

This park could do for some improvements. Let's start off by saying they could work on the little water park they have a few things not working. Beside that it's a nice little water park for the children to get wet at. The bathrooms need some deep cleaning! One toilet was clogged up nasty smell. And out of toilet paper! They have enough tables for people to sit and eat and enjoy the day! The place it self is pretty clean shocker. But there are a lot of homeless here which make me not wanna bring my child back. I saw maybe one cop come hang out in his car, they need to be walking around. Overall it's a nice neighborhood park for people to come down and enjoy they day. We waited for an hour and 45 mins for the water splash pad and it never worked. I called the park and asked what was going on and they said it was filtering the water. It was a waste of my time and gas because we sat in the car waiting with the air on and it never worked for us. read more

Cool place every Thursday night during the summer to come and enjoy great bands in the park. It kicks off from 5:00 to 9:00 at night or until you get out of hand. Safe environment lots of families and local police are there as well to keep the peace. While your there you can also enjoy some food from various vendors and local restaurants. Local business are also set up too. Parking is a b**ch so you have to come early. Just don't forget to bring a chair and find some shade to beat the heat during the summertime. Today, I was at Morgan park around 8:45ish I'd say(for the night market), it was a nice place and I had fun with my kids. But what made me disappointed was the fact that as I was there, I saw a man who I assume works there (possibly a shift lead, but looked too young to be manager)yelling at his staff in a very rude way. He was a man who was of Asian decent and was around 5'6 I believe and I understand it's their job to keep staff in line but the way he was talking to these boys seemed uncalled for. Especially since they were doing their job. It was multiple boys that he was yelling at and it just made me feel as if it's unsafe to be at the street markets if the leadership job here is not thoroughly done. keep in mind that these boys are young, put yourself in their position and think of others who are here to enjoy the night with their family's. read more

I rented senior center past weekend for my daughter's sweet 16. I would like to thank Ivette she was so attentive answered all my questions I went several times and Baldwin park staff were awesome and very friendly. Location - Baldwin park. Next to a senior center? Didn't have a chance to walk around and see what else is there. People - I only saw Asians and Hispanic families. Saw lots of people walking their dogs and picking up their mistakes at least! Playgrounds - two. The little one had a shade built around it which was nice. The sitting area for parents had no shade so bring a hat and wear sunblock. Clean? - yes. Landscaping people were there today. Grass was green and lush. I will come back over the summer and try out the music in the park event. read more

Beautiful park with lots of trees where you can rest easy under their shade. There are halls you can rent to have events (kid's birthday party, baby shower, etc). It is clean and the people are nice. There is also a great jungle gym for the kids to play on! read more

Good park, lots of shade and nice amenities for children and adults. Having been going there since I was very little, the park has come a long way. Until recently it was a very great pokestop for the game Pokemon Go and I have to say, I have never seen as many people at the park (be it day or night. At one point there were 40 or so people playing until 1AM) without any special event going on. It was awesome to see so many people here, young and old, all connecting over a game. The city and the people who run the park had an opportunity to capitalize on so many people coming together on their own. They could have done community events and maybe even have had local businesses come down to sell food for all the people coming to play pokemon. Instead they decided to contact the game to get rid of the pokestop and that opportunity was lost. Rather than keeping kids off the street where they are likely to go party or find trouble, the park decided they didn't want people coming together in a good environment. At the end of the day it's still a nice park, but it's not as full as it was before and it lies dead and empty at night. For pokemon go players: If you're looking for a similar set to what was at this park I recommend going to La Puente city park, there's a lot of stops close together and it's a squirtle nest. read more
