My friend and I decided to stop by at this batting cage for a quick source of stress relief and fun. The facility itself was pretty small and it was completely empty but wasn't able to use the automatic feeding cage since it had reservations, which was fine. Since the manual feeding cage was our only option, we decided on that option for 30 mins. The manual feeding option was $30 for 30 minutes which I thought was a little expensive but this place had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. So, the guy helped us to set up the projectile machine and showed us how to feed the softballs manually. For the first 3 minutes, everything seemed fine until almost 70% of the softballs were projected straight to the floor. As a result, the softballs ran out pretty quickly and had to spend time picking them up again pretty often. Since it was projecting to the floor too much, we asked the guy if he can readjust the projection angle. He ended up increasing the speed and adjusting the angle a bit more upward. As I was feeding the softballs manually for my friend, I noticed that the projectile feeder machine motor could not stand the speed changes and started to rattle and move side to side causing inconsistent throws which lowkey turned into a dodgeball session and also caused my friend getting hit. Overall, poor maintenance of equipments and poor handling of the situation from the staff. If you decide to come here, I do not recommend the manual feeding option. read more

Will was such an amazing help! He went above and beyond for my daughter and I and he didn't really have to! We rented a cage not lessons but it's our first ever season in softball so we were kinda clueless haha he was so friendly and patient, he brought us a T that I didn't know we even had an option for and showed her the correct form and a few more pointers that really took her to the next level! She left feeling so great about herself! We are definitely coming back and are so grateful for Will! read more

This place gets packed during BB season and reservations are a must. A lot of LL teams practice here, so for the $40.00 for the hour, it's not bad. Each kid had to kick in $5.00. What gives this place a 3 star rating is its parking and equipment. The parking just plain sucks. The lot is small and packed and the street parking is terrible. There's no safe drop off zone, so parents double and triple park in front to drop off their kid, then drive away to find parking or hope the coach sees them... When you walk in, there's a crowd to check in and a foul odor coming from the open bathroom... if you're a first timer, it's easy to get lost and confused, so make sure you book a reservation with a cage number and then you can wait by your cage. We were in Cage 3 and the kids before us were using about 45-50 mph pitches. It wasn't anything fancy, but it had a pretty heavy duty mat, home plate and a pitching screen. The screen was pushed to the side and the kids before us were batting like champs using the machine only. We're coaching 5 and 6 year olds so we dialed it down to 30 mph. That's when the machine started acting up. It wasn't consistent with the speed or distance. No matter how much we tried, we couldn't get the machine to work. We moved the mat and home plate up 5 feet to compensate for the machine's lack of distance. It would work every other pitch. After 10 minutes of fiddling with it, we went to the owner. She came out and tried to adjust it and it didn't work for her either, so she kept moving home plate closer and closer (to the point it was about 15 feet away from machine! )Yikes! And, after another 5 minutes of fussing with the equipment we finally just said forget it and made do. The plate was so close to the machine that we set up the pitching screen behind the batter as a back stop and a shield so the kids could practice off the tee! Yup, that's how close home plate was to the machine... To top it off, she didn't even extend our batting time. All that being said, it's centrally located for our guys, so we'll give it a go next week. But this time, we'll get there extra early for parking... and hopefully, we don't get cage 3... read more

The folks working were pleasant and professional. I think I had a wrong understanding of the facilities. It is NOT air conditioned and so it wasnt the savior from the heat I thought it would be. Basically, it "gets the job done". read more

If there was a option for zero stars this place would qualify for my first ever 0 star rating. After speaking to someone at RBI to make a reservation I was very clear I would be running late and that I was on my way from la habra. RBI told me that they had a 5pm time slot available. Once again I made it very clear I was in la habra and I would be running a little late. The guy on the phone who was making the appointment for RBI let me know that I would only have it for the hour time slot and would still have to pay to full price even if I got there late. I agreed and said I don't mind paying full price for the cage. He clearly said I will reserve the cage for you. Raced down there in the pouring rain. Get there 10 minutes after and the dumbfounded person behind the counter pretended like she didn't know what happened and with a guilty reaction told me they gave my cage away to a walk in.. Wow! Glad to know making a reservation at this establishment doesn't mean crap if someone else walks up and wants to pay for the cage before you pay for it. Apparently these are new owners and they are already on there way to becoming old owners. read more

I think batting cages are a great place to practice for the kids. This location in particular is located in a nice area. It's surrounded by businesses and on the weekend is pretty quiet. The owner is nice and always welcomes our small team of baseball players. The price is reasonable and they use both self feeding and automatic loading machines. They also have softball and baseball size practice balls. If you forget your helmet they do have several to borrow. It's not fancy, but does the job. read more

Good place to take kids for batting practice. They are strict on the time. Not sure if they start the clock at the register or when you first enter the batting cage. read more

I've been going here for about 3-4 years now since I live about 2 miles away. But today I came in did 30 min with my daughter and right on the dot lady came to my cage and said your time is up!!! Mind you the place was almost completely empty. I said ok I just need 10 minutes she said no it will be too much $$$ I said fine I'll pay for 15 min more she seemed to get mad or something you would think any smart business person would say yeah sure go another 1/2 hour just give me $10 since she is empty so we finished up I payed for the 15min extra and said " this will be my last time here, I come in all the time spend good $$$ and you rush me, you lost my business". She just said thank you! Anyways thought I'd post about my experience today but everytime before I've had great experiences here they have what you need nothing fancy just good ol cage work!!! But for me unless emergency to get some hitting as I have other options my business is done here!!! Thnx for reply but your not understanding. I go here lots of times and also bring business to you guys! The place was empty besides on other cage. All I'm saying is better business practices with your loyal customers. If I'm the owner I'm not even minding customer staying a bit over - I'd say go another 1/2 hour for $10. read more

Good spot to get some hitting practice done, especially since most batting cages closed down.

Great and friendly staff. The machines run great and is convenient to use even as a first timer.

When we don't have a game at BLD we come here to get some swings in.. 30 minutes is $25.00 for the automatic feeder read more

This place never fails! ill call in & ask if I can still come in for a round of BP at 10min to close. Sure enough whether its sweet Crystal her mom or sister, they ALWAYS say.. your coming right now, ok come in ill wait for ya. The folks are always pleasant and attentive to my needs. Tons of ample parking and at the end of the cul-de-sac so not hard to find. They're open pretty late compared to other batting cages and that's a huge plus. read more

Front desk is so awesome and friendly. They always try to accommodate us. Free wifi for us data hogging parents while we wait! One on one with Coach Mike is so worth every cent. He works to your kid's strengths and helps them improve. We have done hitting lessons and couldn't be happier with the results. My son and nephew have really grown since they began to work with him. They enjoy his style and learn while having fun. It keeps up coming back! :) read more

I have always passed by this facility and always see their sign off of the freeway, I finally decided to bring my son and hit some baseballs. It's really big inside and they have lots of different machines to use amd the front desk was very helpful to show us how to use them. Coach Mike was able to give my son some pointers and recommend we give one of their clinics a try. My son loved every minute of the beginners class, Coach Mike was very informative a(4/4) nd made the class really fun! We definitely recommend this place and their staff were excellent!! read more

Great experience at this place! Very friendly staff and spacious interior. I came in to try hitting for fun. They offer softball and baseball at different speeds. They don't rent helmets, but they do rent out bats. I used a slow pitch softball cage, so I didn't need a helmet. I think faster speeds require a helmet. It was a lot of fun and the staff was really attentive! Would definitely come back! read more

Highly recommend this place! New owners are doing great things to the place! You can already see the difference. Make sure to book your cages!! Can't wait to go back! My son loves it there! Everyone is so friendly there. read more

We were very lucky to find RBI Batting cages open while on our way to a softball tourney! I had called so many that were closed or we outside in the high heat. Chris was great with returning my phone calls. The facility is very large and does not feel crowded even with the Summer Day Camp in process. We were able to get plenty of swings in. We look forward to returning before Tourney again! read more

Upon arrival, I felt I was going to get mugged lol. This place is on a industrial dark street. However, when going inside it is very well lit. The staff is friendly and great customer service. There are many cages. The bats are crap lol no offense but I advice to take your own bat. They offer training as well. Overall, I recommend for hitting some balls. read more

The lady is so nice and sweet. The place is amazing! My team goes here and they get the practice in!

This place has been recently renovated. It's awesome. Staff is nice and friendly, the coaches seem okay, but I wasn't there for that. Rates are also pretty good too. If you're looking for a fun afternoon, stop by RBI it's worth checking out. read more

Indoor batting cages. $20 for half hour. $35 for a full hour. You can chose softballs or baseballs. It's fun. Try it out. read more

I came here on a Sunday afternoon with a friend because we didn't have anything else to do. We walked in and the place was empty and quiet. A lady was sitting in the front counter and she checked us in and helped us set up the speed for our cage. You can alternate between softball or baseball at the switch of a button. We went with the 30min session for $20, which was more than enough time for us beginners. Batting is exhausting, and apparently painful if you strike the ball at a bad angle. I didn't do too shabby for someone who hasn't held a bat in years. I had a bunch of fun and I will definitely come back and bring my other friends along. read more

If you love baseball or softball and you aren't on a team anymore and find some fun activity to do during the week or weekend by yourself, with friends or even a date this is the place to go. The staff is nice the equipment is decent and for the price it's not bad at all. Just parking kind of sucks but come when it's not Baseball season and it's sometimes dead. Well I'm the days I went. Either way it's a nice place. read more

I love this place. I came here for the first time on Thursday [March 28, 2013], during my Spring Break, to practice hitting some softballs. The ladies who work there are extremely nice. They have automatic and manual feeders for the balls. I was lucky enough to have someone set everything up for us to bat. I will definitely come back for more. Sadly, this place is hidden in the boonies. I would have never found this place if I didn't have someone who knows this place. Next time I go, I'll GPS my way there. read more

Nice clean facility with a snack bar and clean restrooms. $40 for 1 hour session in a cage with a machine and the opportunity to pitch by hand. Staff was nice, friendly and I believe you can make an appointment to reserve a cage. Plenty of parking and my son enjoyed his session. read more

This is the first time I've ever been to a batting cage. Didn't realize how much it hurts your hands (the bf suggested I borrow his gloves next time, so make sure to bring your own!), but I did very much enjoy taking out my work stress on them balls! Rental for one cage was $20 for 1/2 hour. Saw coupons on their website after coming back home. Make sure you print before you go! When we arrived, the girl working at the front counter wasn't the friendliest, and failed to tell me that the bathroom was out of service (my bad!!), but she was very thorough in explaining how to use the pitching machine and I don't blame her as I remember only too well what it's like to work on weekends. (Her mother, I'm guessing, who we spoke to later was very sweet though.) The machine's manually fed, which is kind of nice and allowed us to take "breathers" between pitches. You can also manually adjust the speed and height of the pitch, which allowed for some fun experimenting too. There's a variety of bats and helmets available as well. The place was completely empty on a Saturday afternoon, which was interesting. There were also a variety of drinks and snacks, which I'm guessing they use to sucker parents into spending more money on their children. Yummy! Overall, I had a good time and with only three of us I got in more than enough hits to yield a nice burn in my arms the next day. Fun!! read more

Came in last minute to get some work in with my son. Cristal took great care of us and was so nice. Looking forward to coming back soon.

I had a blast. Be sure to call ahead and reserve your time. They have softballs or baseballs. And you can use their bats and helmets. I would recommend bringing antibacterial wipes or bring your own gear. Thanks! read more

Been coming here for about two months. I've tried several places and rbi does more in establishing a long term relationship. Kid clinics (coach Mike & Sean) on Sunday mornings are great. My son looks forward to them and I definitely have seen an improvement with listening & confidence. In addition, I do private clinics with coach Sean. read more

Went in today (Sunday) and made a reservation because I heard this place can get busy... when we arrived it was fairly empty but judging by the crowd outside I think we just missed the rush. Lady behind the counter was extremely nice and showed us how to operate the pitching machines... she gave us the choice of automatic or manual loading... softball or baseball. We went with a manual-loaded baseball machine because we could adjust the speeds as we please. We went in with our own equipment, but they have everything you need there free-of-charge with the exception of batting gloves which they had plenty for-sale behind the counter. Half-way through our session, my Louisville Slugger cracked (I heard it). So we had to switch out to an aluminum bat that they had... she gave us two different ones... one for my wife and one for me; we just had to leave our car-keys. All-in-all, the place was very well maintained, the rates were very fair and the place was nice and clean. It's a great way to spend some time getting some batting-practice in. I definitely found my new spot to go! read more

They run good clean INDOOR cages here, and they also have open cages (without the machines) They are SUPER reasonably priced, and the couple that runs the place is so nice, and always accommodating! I've gone to other cages, and been let down, I've never had that issue here! read more

I love the renovations. I spent an hour there with my friends. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Good Times!

Great indoor batting cages! I took my boyfriend's son who is 9 years old to RBI to get some batting practice in, and the found that the prices are good, facility is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The cages weren't busy, probably because It was such a hot day and the lady working the front brought a fan over and placed it by where i was sitting and even offered to give him a water break so that he wouldn't lose the time that we paid for. I thought that was very courteous and great customer service. We'll definately be going back! read more

I came here yesterday in the late afternoon and had a great time. The service was excellent, the employee was so friendly. I could have sat and talked to her for hours.
