When you arrive, note that the main entrance leads to a boot camp gym just walk to the side of the building to enter Rocks. We were greeted by John, who asked about the kids' ages and experience level. Since they're beginners, he kindly set us up with a net and personally threw pitches to them, giving tips on form and helping with hand-eye coordination. We didn't expect a private coaching session, but John went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and supported. Once the kids were done they can choose a number from a raffle and get a prize that coordinates with the number. They currently offer a great promotion: just $5 for every 10 minutes between 12-6 PM. It's close to where my wife and kids get their hair cut, so if we are in the area, I like to stop by for 15 minutes so my son can take some swings. They have different speed cages, and only accept cash. Fellow working there is nice enough, but by no means is he overly friendly. This is a bare bones establishment, and if that is what you are looking for (as I was) it is perfect! I'll be back again when I'm in the area, but don't think I'll make the drive from Glendale. The coaches had the girls on a good pace with running drills. Baseball camp was 4.5 hours, cost more ($80/day) and did less. There was more down time than expected. Between snack time and lunch time, the kids were either sitting around, goofing off, or playing dodgeball. I didn't really observe much baseball exercises. When I did see some hitting exercises, the coaches never critiqued or complimented any child at bat. With pitching, the coach did give some advice, though. I'm not sure if this is how their camps usually run, but we won't be returning. Some positives about this place? It's indoors and there's a makeshift waiting area. The coaches are nice and very chill. I'm sure this place is great. I read some of the reviews. Sadly, we didn't have the same experience.

My friend and I decided to stop by at this batting cage for a quick source of stress relief and…read morefun. The facility itself was pretty small and it was completely empty but wasn't able to use the automatic feeding cage since it had reservations, which was fine. Since the manual feeding cage was our only option, we decided on that option for 30 mins. The manual feeding option was $30 for 30 minutes which I thought was a little expensive but this place had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. So, the guy helped us to set up the projectile machine and showed us how to feed the softballs manually. For the first 3 minutes, everything seemed fine until almost 70% of the softballs were projected straight to the floor. As a result, the softballs ran out pretty quickly and had to spend time picking them up again pretty often. Since it was projecting to the floor too much, we asked the guy if he can readjust the projection angle. He ended up increasing the speed and adjusting the angle a bit more upward. As I was feeding the softballs manually for my friend, I noticed that the projectile feeder machine motor could not stand the speed changes and started to rattle and move side to side causing inconsistent throws which lowkey turned into a dodgeball session and also caused my friend getting hit. Overall, poor maintenance of equipments and poor handling of the situation from the staff. If you decide to come here, I do not recommend the manual feeding option.

The self-loading, pitching machines are great, you can set the pitch type or even randomize them. Also Rapsodo, although not perfect, makes a cage workout feel so much more impactful and you can actually get some results and build confidence. I also really appreciate the Riley Lane for softball, my daughter is 8U and we can take the machine down to around 35 - 40 MPH. She gained so much skill and confidence in these cages and it really helped her excel this year. JB is also parent friendly. Whether you want to get up close and coach or just sit back on the couch and relax, it's a great environment. I can definitely see teams starting to book this place more because it has everything you'd need for a full team workout. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet.

They came back and said why don't I go and give it a try so I did. For $5 you get to hit for 3 minutes. I hadn't gone to a batting cage in a very long time so I gave it a try. Well now I regret it because I got bugs in my hair and it's been itching. I don't know how to get rid of it atm. I hope my doctor is not on vacation and will be able to determine what's going on up there. They provide you a helmet and a bat. I went with the softball since the ball would probably come out slower and I'd be able to hit it. I missed it the first two times then afterwards it was home runs and singles until it was over. It would be a better experience if I had my own helmet to wear.
