Great neighborhood park in my town, the 'City of Walnut,' but it's unlike Chino Hills' 'English Springs Park,' with a touch of a huge pond there. This local park is more for baseball games, large parties, varieties of daily exercising and dog walking as well as for kids to play around the playground. It's right by my house, so I can actually walk here, but it would still be a bit of ways. I would prefer walking in a park over exercising in a gym, because this is more of an open space and you can still walk, run, jog with your iPod on without having to pay a dime or feel peer pressured to work out. Stopped here today for pics!

This is a cool place. There is a new renovated water play area. Nice for summer kids play. Recommend!

I really like this park! They have water fountains for the dogs if you want to take them on a run and if you are practicing any sports they have a really big field. The playground is great as well

There is more then enough room for parking if you decide to try out this park. The kids will have a lot of fun because of the different types of climbing structures the have. There's 12 acres of fun that your kids will truly enjoy. The playground was renovated in 2016. Only down fall if if you are in the grassy area the restrooms are really far. Amenities: 3 Baseball fields (3 lighted) 1 Restroom/Snack Bar Play ground area 8 Picnic tables 3 Barbecue grills 3 Drinking fountain 2 Park benches 1 Volleyball Ct.

Situated on 12 hilly acres, this park boasts a beach volleyball court, playground, baseball fields, walking trail, restrooms, a snack stand, open spaces, a whole mess of trees, and a dinky parking lot. This is the more less known park in the Walnut area since it's located west of Lemon Ave. but it's taken good care of by the city. (Located next to Oswalt Academy) Personally I think this is the best park in the area, it's maintained everyday, people who frequent this park are extremely nice, it's generally not too crowded and there aren't a million flies eating your face and legs. This park also hosts some community events during the year, such as the 9/11 Memorial, Chinese New Year Festival, and the Summer Concert Series (this is when the park gets a bit crowded). The one complaint that I have about this park is the parking lot, it's really small and when there's little league games/practice or some event, the lot gets full fast and cars overrun the residential streets, and as a resident of the area, I find it annoying. But, it's only once in awhile, so it's not too bad. This park is really hilly, so it makes for awesome roll-down-the-hill fun for all ages! And, with all the trees, it makes for awesome picnics in the spring and summer! You can reserve spaces for your own parties through the City of Walnut's Park and Recreation Department a week in advance. Also, if you come in the morning, you'll be fascinated by the Tai Chi groups doing their thing! It's pretty cool. So, go out and PLAY!! =] *For everyone's safety, please don't visit the park alone in the dark, this is coyote and snake season. Also, never leave your children unsupervised, that's just selfish. Thanks.

Fun park to play when hot for the slash pad. The actually playground I would say is better for older kids. But still enjoyable for everyone.

Ask the Community - Creekside Park

Where the hell is this so called "dog park" that's claimed to be here?

There are grassy areas and a water fountain that accommodates pets. I don't really think that constitutes a dog park, but it is a popular place to walk dogs.

How often are the volleyball courts used?

Hi Charlie, we have a group from work that tries to play every Thursday afternoon. Occasionally, there's a high school group that plays and finishes just as we arrive at 4:45 pm.

Does this park have tables and seating?

Yes, there's a few, under trees too

New Playground for the kids!…read more I like how the playground has two areas for different ages and the city used padding for the ground under the play areas because sand is messy and wood chips get everywhere. We've been here twice in the last couple of months and my kids love it. (The city is updating the baseball/softball fields next to the playground). Parking could have a larger lot, but when the lot is full, there's plenty of street parking. And the playground has bathrooms right next to it. I hate when playgrounds/parks don't have bathrooms because kids always need to go when there's not a bathroom around. Very inconvenient when there's no bathroom. Cheers! Please see my photos. They added a new playground area bunch of new playground toys and just seems a lot more fun for the kids compared to the previous arrangement. The Park and play area appears to be larger than it was before which is a plus the old playground was kind of outdated, but this new one has a lot of fun activities for kids. It was very spacious very kid and toddler friendly. They also have a picnic area for people to rent space to have birthday parties and other celebratory events. There's some lighting in the playground area so even after hours you could still play for a little bit they are doing construction near the baseball field. Parking was pretty accessible led right to the park. There's a good amount of parking and then also you could probably park in the neighborhood nearby if there is no space but I never had an issue since I've been there the last two times highly recommend checking out this park and my daughter loves to come and play here.

There is a round about parking near the entrance with a moderate amount of parking spaces but if you go past that further in there are more parking available. The play ground is quite large compared to other smaller park playgrounds. The cool think i like was that stairs from the first parking lot with the restrooms connect to the playground. So kids can jump right into the fun. Next to the playground its surrounded with plenty of picnic tables (concrete) and lets parents sit and relax while the kids play. The playground has multiple entries with two slides? Two monkey bars, stepping stone style elevated steps, a fireman pole, etc... definitely a fun park to come to. There is a little creek adjacent to the playground where you get a nice tranquil stream of flowing water drowned by the screams and laughter of children in the background, lol.. its nice really and something that sets it apart. We did not go further past the stream but there appears to be additional tables and a trail. Had a great time meeting our friends there and enjoying some fun times with the kids in the process. My kids loved it.
