There is a round about parking near the entrance with a moderate amount of parking spaces but if you go past that further in there are more parking available. The play ground is quite large compared to other smaller park playgrounds. The cool think i like was that stairs from the first parking lot with the restrooms connect to the playground. So kids can jump right into the fun. Next to the playground its surrounded with plenty of picnic tables (concrete) and lets parents sit and relax while the kids play. The playground has multiple entries with two slides? Two monkey bars, stepping stone style elevated steps, a fireman pole, etc... definitely a fun park to come to. There is a little creek adjacent to the playground where you get a nice tranquil stream of flowing water drowned by the screams and laughter of children in the background, lol.. its nice really and something that sets it apart. We did not go further past the stream but there appears to be additional tables and a trail. Had a great time meeting our friends there and enjoying some fun times with the kids in the process. My kids loved it.

Once you head down the slope, it does feels like a secret hideaway beyond the trees. This was especially apparent during the late December rainfall, where the wet and gusty weather resulted in many fallen leaves. The air was extra crisp, a perfect place to run around or play hide and seek. I've also come here before during the summer, and I can tell the management takes great care of keeping this place clean. The hike itself is relatively easy with some stairs and incline as well as a nice view to boot. Exercise stations are sprinkled around the top portion which the regulars here can benefit from.

I'm not quite sure this is called Summitridge Trail or Grand View Trail because it has many names…read moresuch as Canyon Loop or Diamond Bar Loop. Anyhow, we parked our car at the Diamond Bar City Center then we started to hike. This trail is about a 1.5-mile loop trail. It takes an average of 47 min to complete. I would say this is an easy hike for us. However, we enjoyed this beautiful trail with some nice views up on the mountain. Some sections are a little steep but not to the top. This is a popular trail for hiking. We hiked on New Year's Day and the weather was so nice and it had a lot of people there. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

I loved how it is secluded from the city and it was very quiet and less crowded. There is a parking lot that holds about 15-20 cars. Even on the weekends, it was still quiet. I loved how the park was well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. The park offered 2 age groups background, 2-5 yrs and 5-12 yrs. The playground was pretty new as well too. My son loves coming here and be entertained for awhile and still want to go home. I love the fact I don't have to worry about watching my son whenever I'm at this park. The park offers a walking trail for you and your dogs. There are benches and even a bbq grill.

Even at night the park is very safe. The paddle ball court is quite popular and usually a wait if you want to play during peak hours. The park is right across from Maple Hills Elementary School. The park offers about 20 parking spaces but you can also park on Maple Hills Road if you can't find parking. The city of Diamond Bar did a major renovation to build a brand new playground, new bathrooms, and basketball court. It's a really clean and beautiful park. The city does a good job in maintaining the park as well. This small park offers tennis court, paddle ball court, basketball court, playground and a huge open field to play soccer. This park is also dog friendly. I see many people walk their dogs and neighbors that live around the area enjoys walking to the park. There's a little lake that has geeses, swans, fishes, & turtles. A lot of folks are picnicking. Some shaded areas. There was a street vendor roaming around. There's slight incline if you plan to do some walking but there is some paved paths where I did see folks walking around. There are poop along the path and also on the grass. This is wonderful park to have in the neighborhood. Wished I lived a bit closer and wished we came prepared with a picnic blanket. Tips: -Small parking lot. -Restroom available. -Basketball courts. -Small playground with 2 swings.

There are city parking times where you're not to park there, unless collecting parking tickets is your thing.

New Playground for the kids!…read more I like how the playground has two areas for different ages and the city used padding for the ground under the play areas because sand is messy and wood chips get everywhere. We've been here twice in the last couple of months and my kids love it. (The city is updating the baseball/softball fields next to the playground). Parking could have a larger lot, but when the lot is full, there's plenty of street parking. And the playground has bathrooms right next to it. I hate when playgrounds/parks don't have bathrooms because kids always need to go when there's not a bathroom around. Very inconvenient when there's no bathroom. Cheers! Please see my photos. The bathrooms and are large individual stalls with changing areas and a family restroom. There's even an outdoor shower to rinse off after using the splash pad. There's a limited amount of tables. Whenever I go the covered bench area always has a party going on. I don't see any phone numbers to call to reserve so I'm not sure if it's first come first served but there is a large concrete area and I've seen people bring their own chairs and tables.

Put paddles on top of the goal and the first on the right is next, they move the paddles to the right as groups go on. Recommended for PBall!
