I'm not quite sure this is called Summitridge Trail or Grand View Trail because it has many names…read moresuch as Canyon Loop or Diamond Bar Loop. Anyhow, we parked our car at the Diamond Bar City Center then we started to hike. This trail is about a 1.5-mile loop trail. It takes an average of 47 min to complete. I would say this is an easy hike for us. However, we enjoyed this beautiful trail with some nice views up on the mountain. Some sections are a little steep but not to the top. This is a popular trail for hiking. We hiked on New Year's Day and the weather was so nice and it had a lot of people there. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

I loved how it is secluded from the city and it was very quiet and less crowded. There is a parking lot that holds about 15-20 cars. Even on the weekends, it was still quiet. I loved how the park was well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. The park offered 2 age groups background, 2-5 yrs and 5-12 yrs. The playground was pretty new as well too. My son loves coming here and be entertained for awhile and still want to go home. I love the fact I don't have to worry about watching my son whenever I'm at this park. The park offers a walking trail for you and your dogs. There are benches and even a bbq grill.

Even at night the park is very safe. The paddle ball court is quite popular and usually a wait if you want to play during peak hours. The park is right across from Maple Hills Elementary School. The park offers about 20 parking spaces but you can also park on Maple Hills Road if you can't find parking. The city of Diamond Bar did a major renovation to build a brand new playground, new bathrooms, and basketball court. It's a really clean and beautiful park. The city does a good job in maintaining the park as well. This small park offers tennis court, paddle ball court, basketball court, playground and a huge open field to play soccer. This park is also dog friendly. I see many people walk their dogs and neighbors that live around the area enjoys walking to the park. There are plenty of benches to sit at and also several picnic tables located by the tennis courts.

There's a little lake that has geeses, swans, fishes, & turtles. A lot of folks are picnicking. Some shaded areas. There was a street vendor roaming around. There's slight incline if you plan to do some walking but there is some paved paths where I did see folks walking around. There are poop along the path and also on the grass. This is wonderful park to have in the neighborhood. Wished I lived a bit closer and wished we came prepared with a picnic blanket. New Playground for the kids!…read more I like how the playground has two areas for different ages and the city used padding for the ground under the play areas because sand is messy and wood chips get everywhere. We've been here twice in the last couple of months and my kids love it. (The city is updating the baseball/softball fields next to the playground). Parking could have a larger lot, but when the lot is full, there's plenty of street parking. And the playground has bathrooms right next to it. They added a new playground area bunch of new playground toys and just seems a lot more fun for the kids compared to the previous arrangement. The Park and play area appears to be larger than it was before which is a plus the old playground was kind of outdated, but this new one has a lot of fun activities for kids. It was very spacious very kid and toddler friendly. They also have a picnic area for people to rent space to have birthday parties and other celebratory events. There's some lighting in the playground area so even after hours you could still play for a little bit they are doing construction near the baseball field. Parking was pretty accessible led right to the park. There's a good amount of parking and then also you could probably park in the neighborhood nearby if there is no space but I never had an issue since I've been there the last two times highly recommend checking out this park and my daughter loves to come and play here.

Put paddles on top of the goal and the first on the right is next, they move the paddles to the right as groups go on. Recommended for PBall!
