There is a round about parking near the entrance with a moderate amount of parking spaces but if you go past that further in there are more parking available. The play ground is quite large compared to other smaller park playgrounds. The cool think i like was that stairs from the first parking lot with the restrooms connect to the playground. So kids can jump right into the fun. Next to the playground its surrounded with plenty of picnic tables (concrete) and lets parents sit and relax while the kids play. The playground has multiple entries with two slides? Two monkey bars, stepping stone style elevated steps, a fireman pole, etc... definitely a fun park to come to. There is a little creek adjacent to the playground where you get a nice tranquil stream of flowing water drowned by the screams and laughter of children in the background, lol.. its nice really and something that sets it apart. We did not go further past the stream but there appears to be additional tables and a trail. Had a great time meeting our friends there and enjoying some fun times with the kids in the process. My kids loved it.

Also there is a hiking trail that I now frequently go to now. Especially the last few weeks (despite it being late January/early February) its been very warm in SoCal. This trail is relatively easy as it only takes about 30 minutes to complete the trail. I also love how most of this trail has plenty of shade. One of my favorite parks and hiking trails to go to around the Diamond Bar area.

Does not have the biggest grassy area, but there is a cool trail that connects you from DB Blvd. up to the park. Fun for hikers and people with dogs, and exercise buffs. I'm not quite sure this is called Summitridge Trail or Grand View Trail because it has many names…read moresuch as Canyon Loop or Diamond Bar Loop. Anyhow, we parked our car at the Diamond Bar City Center then we started to hike. This trail is about a 1.5-mile loop trail. It takes an average of 47 min to complete. I would say this is an easy hike for us. However, we enjoyed this beautiful trail with some nice views up on the mountain. Some sections are a little steep but not to the top. This is a popular trail for hiking. We hiked on New Year's Day and the weather was so nice and it had a lot of people there. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

I loved how it is secluded from the city and it was very quiet and less crowded. There is a parking lot that holds about 15-20 cars. Even on the weekends, it was still quiet. I loved how the park was well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. The park offered 2 age groups background, 2-5 yrs and 5-12 yrs. The playground was pretty new as well too. My son loves coming here and be entertained for awhile and still want to go home. I love the fact I don't have to worry about watching my son whenever I'm at this park. The park offers a walking trail for you and your dogs. There are benches and even a bbq grill.

Maple Hill Park is a hidden gem with a lot of things to do for everyone. It's a small and quiet…read morepark but it happens to be very busy all through out the day. Even at night the park is very safe. The paddle ball court is quite popular and usually a wait if you want to play during peak hours. The park is right across from Maple Hills Elementary School. The park offers about 20 parking spaces but you can also park on Maple Hills Road if you can't find parking. The city of Diamond Bar did a major renovation to build a brand new playground, new bathrooms, and basketball court. It's a really clean and beautiful park. The city does a good job in maintaining the park as well. This small park offers tennis court, paddle ball court, basketball court, playground and a huge open field to play soccer. This park is also dog friendly. I see many people walk their dogs and neighbors that live around the area enjoys walking to the park. There are plenty of benches to sit at and also several picnic tables located by the tennis courts.

New Playground for the kids!…read more I like how the playground has two areas for different ages and the city used padding for the ground under the play areas because sand is messy and wood chips get everywhere. We've been here twice in the last couple of months and my kids love it. (The city is updating the baseball/softball fields next to the playground). Parking could have a larger lot, but when the lot is full, there's plenty of street parking. And the playground has bathrooms right next to it. They added a new playground area bunch of new playground toys and just seems a lot more fun for the kids compared to the previous arrangement. The Park and play area appears to be larger than it was before which is a plus the old playground was kind of outdated, but this new one has a lot of fun activities for kids. It was very spacious very kid and toddler friendly. They also have a picnic area for people to rent space to have birthday parties and other celebratory events. There's some lighting in the playground area so even after hours you could still play for a little bit they are doing construction near the baseball field. Parking was pretty accessible led right to the park. There's a good amount of parking and then also you could probably park in the neighborhood nearby if there is no space but I never had an issue since I've been there the last two times highly recommend checking out this park and my daughter loves to come and play here.

Whenever I go the covered bench area always has a party going on. I don't see any phone numbers to call to reserve so I'm not sure if it's first come first served but there is a large concrete area and I've seen people bring their own chairs and tables.

I didn't walk the whole park but it appears pretty large. I played PBall there with my son and the people are NICE. We played with two sets of strangers and they were very welcoming for us out-of-towners. Put paddles on top of the goal and the first on the right is next, they move the paddles to the right as groups go on. Recommended for PBall!

We did come during noon so that's when everyone wants to go to the park. I'm so glad I discovered this park through my friends. I decided to come and they have a nice and easy hiking trail which you can finish within 30 mins. I love that this park has a bit of everything for those who are active. They have the basic amenities that a normal park has including a walking path, basketball and tennis courts. I love how they offer a small dog park that leads straight to the trail.

We encountered a huge brown spider (maybe poisonous) on the trail. There were benches everywhere which was nice too. The only downfall with this park was that there wasn't a restroom (that I could find). Going somewhere with toddlers means you've got to have access to a restroom so that's my only note!

It is on the smaller end for a park but it creates a space where it's easier to watch your kids. Though it is by a busy intersection, the city did a great job with making sure to create fencing and plants that provide enough distance from the street to the playground. High fencing and nice touch with the plants. I always love walking to that park when I need time to journal.
