The first day I came I brought a friend (you will need to bring someone if you do not own a firearm). And everything was great but what my friend pointed out is that the first person who helped us with the rentals wasn't really helpful and was kind of a smartass. I didn't really think anything of it but when we came back to exchange our rental firearms for the next round we got a different guy (Nathan). And this is where it made me notice the difference. He walked us thru which guns we should look at and really talked to us like he cared. To the point where when we left my friend even said something like 'damn that second guy was really helpful' Second time I came back with my brand new firearm to try it out. After checking in, I was about to walk into the bay, but saw the guy that helped us (Nathan) at the rental so I just asked real quick if I was okay to shoot my firearm as is out of the box. He stopped me and suggested I oil it first. He gave me a brief rundown of how to field strip my firearm and the points to oil. Along with some other newbie/safety things to know. Honestly if it weren't for this guy I may have hurt myself or something lol. Also he gave me a lot of tips that were a big help. I would say this guy cares about the customers and is extremely knowledgeable. The place is great and especially if its your first time shooting and are in the area check this place out.

Like any other indoor range they check ammo, but generally don't care what firearms you bring, most I've gotten is "Oh dude is that a X? Sweet." On the firing line. I only shoot pistols here, rifle and shotgun ammo must be bought from them (no thanks.). 25 yard range, ventilation is pretty good but FT3 in Stanton is definitely better. In the firing line the marks for distances are numbers on the wall for yardages with lines painted across the floor for reference. I typically pay $25-28 for a lane and 2-3 paper targets, if you want to bring your own it must be approved by them. Only thing that might be a turn off is the fact that it isn't the prettiest range, and the furnishings are pretty lackluster. I've never seen a chair on the firing line and there are wood benches about 10 feet behind the line. But for the value, solid target selection and good options for rentals (Glocks, M&P's, 1911's, revolvers, many more) you can't really beat it as a regular without spending significantly more for a club membership or range fees elsewhere.

Tap Rack Bang Training - Josh, TRB Sponsored Competitive Shooter

Tap Rack Bang Training

Review for Tap Rack Bang Rating: 5/5 Stars…read more If you are looking for CCW training that goes beyond just "checking a box," Tap Rack Bang is the gold standard. I recently completed my first class with them, and to say the bar has been set high for any future training would be an understatement. The Coaching The instruction from Ernie and Josh is truly superior. They strike the perfect balance between being encouraging and providing the kind of necessary, corrective criticism you need when handling a firearm. They don't just watch you shoot; they coach you through every movement. Their ability to spot a mechanical flaw and help you fix it in real-time is impressive. Professionalism & Environment CEO Ernie has built an incredible team. From start to finish, the entire staff was professional, helpful, and clearly dedicated to the craft. As a first-time student, I felt welcomed but also respected as a serious trainee. The Standard This class is designed to prepare you for the real world. They ask you to push yourself for perfection, which is exactly the mindset demanded by CCW criteria. They don't settle for "good enough," and they make sure you don't either. Final Verdict I strongly recommend this class to everyone, from absolute beginners to experienced shooters. You will leave more confident, more capable, and with a much deeper understanding of what it means to carry responsibly. Also, shop at costco.

I went into class thinking we would just be taught law and how not to get in trouble being a ccw holder. That was not the case as i have mentioned before i frequent the range and after my ccw course with Ernie, Josh, Tyron(sorry if i misspelled that), and Dustin i walked out with not just knowledge on law but technique when it comes to drawing, concealing, proper holster fitment, stance, and some drills to practice. If you are pursuing your ccw you will pay about the same amount of money to get a "PASS" type class behind a screen why not get your moneys worth and actually learn something. Thanks TRB i will be back I'm beyond thankful for everything you guys have taught me.

To be completely honest, I started this class with a significant amount of fear regarding firearms. However, the patient, safe, and professional manner in which we were taught immediately put my mind at ease. Tom does an incredible job of prioritizing safety above all else, ensuring that every step is understood before moving forward. His teaching partner Val added such a wonderful, welcoming touch to the class. Her presence and guidance made the experience feel even more approachable and inclusive. Because of their combined efforts, I walked away with so much more confidence than I ever thought possible. If you have been hesitant or nervous about taking that first step, I cannot recommend this course enough--you will be in great hands.

If you're someone who knows nothing about pistols or don't care to buy one but want to know pistol safety and the "feeling" of using a pistol - I recommend this class! There are many options to choose from but if you're not sure where to start - I recommend the Pistol 101-A: Friendly Intro to Firearms online video!! This will give you a good idea of how you want to proceed while also learning the 4 rules of firearm safety. I took the 4-hr Pistol 101: Safety & Fundamentals training afterwards and honestly time flies when you're learning and having a good time with the instructors and classmates. Also, shout out to my classmates for being supportive and warm, really diverse group! If you do take the in-person trainings at the gun range, I would say please be patient and careful with the driving since it has some curvy areas and wifi is wack up there plus some construction. Definitely take water and snacks!! (FYI; don't put any sweet perfume before the training because the bees wouldn't leave me alone!)
