Super cool! I took the kids for an outing. They loved it! The staff were super friendly, helpful and inviting. Many of the participants were really nice to the kids. I had a group of 11/12 year olds and all the adults were showing the kids stuff and playing the games with them. Super cool experience for the kids!

We celebrated our son's 9th birthday at Battle Lab with gel blasters and VR gaming, and it was an absolute hit! The group of 8 boys (ages 8-10) had a blast from start to finish. All the parents were super impressed also, they all asked how did we hear about this place. The staff was awesome--super helpful and friendly. The food was great too. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable birthday party!

I found out about this place on Groupon. They have a deal for 3 players for their virtual reality lounge for an hour, for about $60, when the normal price would be $120. Being such a good deal, I made sure to snag 2 hours' worth. Not only do u get the game play, but you also get an entree and a drink per person, per hour. More on that later. When you enter from the parking lot, you walk right into the store. If you keep going straight, it takes you to the BB gun arena. And if you make a left halfway thru and down the ramp, it takes you to the Arsanal Bar where the 2 VR lounges are. Yes there's 2 lounges but it would've been better if there was separation or a wall for the rooms. Fortunately for us there wasen't another group. So we had both sides all to ourselves. Our waitress who was also working the bar was super cool. I didn't get her name. But she was super helpful and attentive to us. Helped us with how the groupon worked. Had free reign to make my soju inspired mixed drink, and it was amazing!! Food came out quickly. We had their chicken wings, their sliders, nachos, and mozerella sticks. Everything tasted amazingly. Quality and taste are so much more than what you would normally find in a bar. There are lots of different games to be played in the actual lounge. You can compete against your friend or play 1 player. Lots of seating area. Nice high top in the bqck to stand and eat. Great atmosphere. A little warm in the room. But it was very fun. The 2 hrs flew by like it was only 30 minutes. Going back to the groupon deal. 6 a great deal!! Because it turned out to only be $120 for 3 people for 2 hours. The free food option includes anything on their menu. From fries and mozzarella sticks to sliders and the more "expensive" things on the menu. And in regards to the free drink, it includes sodas, beers, and even mixed drinks!! So for $120, we got 6 entrees, 6 drinks, and 2 hours of play. 100% worth using the groupon!! Had a great time. It was fun. Literally had a blast!! The food was really good. Great experience. It's definitely a nice date night idea!! Or just hanging with friends.

Ssg1 ref let me use

Amazing place me and my friends come here 1-2 times a week and every employee is cool, the front desk is always welcoming and cool, and the refs. the refs are really good they explain the rules well and arent biased, thay doesnt mean you cant talk to them , my battery died mid game and i went to the ref box he let me use his and ome of them let me use his ssg1 for the night, i dont know what else you could ask for. theres a evike store next door too for when you need stuff. People complaim about the map but get used to it what can i say you can play 2-3 games and get the whole map not that hard , overall 10/10 place.

My favorite place to play airsoft. way more chill and casual than tac city. way better reffing system than tac city too. they also let you record here not like tac city. 10/10

Booked a group package for my son's 12th birthday! It was our first time for our boys and they were super excited. This place is awesome! It's clean and everyone working is very nice. They took care of us, and took the time to show the boys what to do. The front counter guy was very knowledgeable and because I ask a lot of questions, he answered every one and was very patient in explaining. The boys Referee was really cool too. Since he was inside with the boys while they played, I also asked him questions, and he also made me feel comfortable. Felt comfortable and safe the entire time we were there. I also have to mention that the store is REALLY REALLY COOL!! Thank you Battle Lab!! I totally recommend this place!!

This is by far one of the best indoor airsoft fields in SoCal. Great staff!! They also have a bar and grill on the weekend. Make sure you drop by Evike Outpost for all your airsoft gear.

My son geared up and ready!

Ask the Community - Battle Lab

What's included in both regular and premium rifle rentals? Do they come with mags and batteries? What about BBs? Sorry if this is a lot to ask, the website doesn't say much about this. I'd like to start playing with friends here, but only I have gear

From the start he was super approachable easy to talk to and very non judgmental which I really appreciated especially since I personally know nothing about airsoft guns. Brian took the time to walk us through the models my boyfriend was interested in and even checked which other stores had certain ones in stock when his own store did not. There was zero pressure to buy something that was not the right fit. He explained how different pistols and revolvers work including loading unloading and general handling in a way that was clear and not overwhelming. I never felt talked down to or brushed off even though I was very clearly not the knowledgeable one in the room. Overall Brian was just genuinely helpful and patient and made what could have been an intimidating experience feel easy and comfortable.

Field Experience Review - September 28,2025…read more On September 28, I visited the field and brought along seven friends. For majority of us, it was our first time, and overall, we had an amazing experience, some more than others. One of the referees stood out in particular -- the skater with blonde hair and a great vibe. He clearly loves his job and is extremely knowledgeable about guns and gear. He was very engaged with every player, explaining game modes thoroughly and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. His professionalism and enthusiasm set the tone for the day. Later, a different referee rotated in. I didn't catch his name, but he was a darker-skinned male. Compared to the first referee, he seemed less enthusiastic. At one point, one of my friends was denied entry because he wasn't wearing gloves. After being scanned in, he quickly went back to grab his gloves, but when he returned, the gate had already been locked. He asked another staff member at the chrono station for help, who radioed the referee in the field. The response over the radio was dismissive and unprofessional ("F*** him, he can wait after"), and the game proceeded without allowing my friend back in. This situation left my friend upset, but thankfully, the front receptionist -- the gentleman with the mustache -- handled the matter professionally and apologized on behalf of the staff. We also visited the store and had questions about certain items. When we compared prices with Evike's website, we noticed discrepancies. When we asked about price matching, the staff told us, "We don't price match." This was disappointing, as it seemed unusual for Evike not to match its own website. Ultimately, we decided not to purchase in-store and instead ordered online. On a more positive note, we ordered food during our visit and were very impressed. The service and food were excellent -- the woman behind the bar was incredibly helpful and friendly. I ordered chicken tenders and fries, and both the portion size and taste exceeded expectations. Definitely a highlight of the day. At the end of the day, we noticed an issue with our barcodes: half of our group still had time left while the other half did not. Once again, the receptionist with the mustache stepped in and extended our time so we could finish together as a group. This was a small but very meaningful gesture, and we greatly appreciated his kindness and professionalism. Overall Ratings: * Field: 8/10 * Store: 6/10 * Restaurant: 9/10

The Airsoft side of SC Village feels very neglected…read more Long story short, the referees and players tried hard to make it a good day, but it felt like the management / oversight of the Airsoft field sacrificed a lot to cater to the larger Paintball groups this day. Back in the day SC was a pretty staple field for Airsoft, but I doubt I'll ever go back again. I used to attend SC village infrequently a few years ago (a few times a year, for private and public games). Generally, private games were pretty fun and a positive experience. This was my first time back in about two years. I attended a walk-on game November 21; this was after several days of nonstop heavy rain, and the field was generally a mess; the roads on the way in are not very good; if you drive a normal non-lifted / non outdoor vehicle beware the potholes and bumps. I'm unsure if they used manure recently on their grounds, but the flooding had covered everything in a layer of soup mud that smelled like feces. It was disgusting and gunked up our cars and gear pretty badly. Access to different fields was not very good due to flooding and just holes in the ground. Again, this is not a unique issue for paintball fields, but Jungle Island / Wildlands airsoft used wooden planks to fill holes in the ground and provide access in similar circumstances; and not stink anywhere near as bad. I will admit - largely a weather problem, less an operations issue, but I'm unsure why the place smelled so disgusting. My bigger issue was that the general operation of the airsoft side was a mess. The staff was generally helpful and cordial. The refs were good and the store staff were helpful. Chronograph check was helpful and answered our questions; but unfortunately SC does not provide their own BBs for chronographing airsoft replicas, so the velocity limits are essentially hypothetical if you lie about what type of BBs are loaded in your replica. Most fields (e.g. Project N1, Wildlands) supply their own test BBs to avoid this problem. There were around 20-30 persons playing airsoft on this day compared to what looked like 100-200 paintballers. I arrived approx 10:40 (they opened at 10:00) and started playing by around noon, and got 5 sets of games in in the five hours from that time to closing (17:00 / 5 PM). There were a few reasons for this. Games typically run 10-15 minutes, then there is a swap so the teams can switch sides, and another round. After that, it is supposed to be a 5-10 minute reload break, but typically they ran more like 15-20 minutes. The staff were supposed to announce the games and give periodic updates ("5 minutes until next round of games at the red flags or green flags"), but sometimes due to disorganization they did not, and we missed 2 sets of games waiting for an announcement. When we reached out to the staff for help figuring out where the Airsoft Group was playing, their radio equipment suffered a lot of failures and the Paintball referees and Airsoft referees could not contact each other to answer our questions. Once we actually entered the game, due to small group size we were shoved on small fields like "The Castle," which are primarily intended for paintball with typically short engagement ranges of 50-60 feet at most. A decent airsoft gun can reach out to more than 100 feet with ease; what happened was our team was able to shoot the enemy team directly from our spawn / starting area into the enemy spawn area, killing them before they had a chance to really play and robbing them of their fun. Plus, in addition to this we endlessly did "team deathmatch" with unlimited respawns; if we did single-life elimination or medic games, spawn camping wouldn't have posed such an issue. This repeated across 4 of the sets we managed to play as we were sent from small map to small map; one team would wipe out the other team trapped in spawn and lead to a stalemate, until swapping sides and taking turns dominating the other team. We did end on a nice game at "Blackhawk," which is a large map they tend to save for large scenario games, and had the longer engagement ranges that prevented airsoft players from just reaching directly into player spawns. Overall, I don't blame the refs or staff for the gigantic mess of a day we had; they were trying hard with what they had, it felt like the field management did not provide adequate resources (working radios), did not coordinate well on announcements, and did not allocate sufficient fields that worked properly for airsoft due to either lack of knowledge or preferential treatment for their large paintball groups. Two stars for the staff trying their best, but 5 sets of games for $37 entry, disorganized play, and poor field selection is not something I would voluntarily do again, putting aside the stinky, soupy mud and weather problems.
