My big kids love coming here. They always have stories to tell when they come back. People of all ages come here to play air soft so if your kids are younger, you may want to tag along because they will be playing with adults. There is no age separation here. Despite that, the staff is highly trained and they maintain a safe play arena. If you don't have gear you can also rent or buy stuff onsite. Entry is fairly priced, but the stuff onsite and rentals cost more than I expected. After 2 times of rentals, I just went and got them their own gear at another store. read more

Fighting, arguing and tempers aren't tolerated which is nice. They have good fields and give decent breaks in between with the recent temperatures. This is my first time ever airsofting and I went to this field since many recommended it to me. The staff was very friendly and helpful The players were also very nice too and I made a few friends. No toxic players and very little instances of "Cheaters" They even have a little food court with 2 food booths too right next to the staging area (very convenient!) Been playing at Code Red for years (since the Colton location) and have seen it gradually fall downhill. Played this weekend and had the same issue as the other 3 times I went this year. Regular players being allowed to break rules with just a slap on the wrist. They would get "talked to" about the issue but never seemed to resolve any issues. It's no wonder they have to talk about not fighting on the field. I get Letting regulars bend rules, I've been one at other fields but I didn't cheat, I still played with integrity. I'm fully expecting the management to deny that they "didn't do anything" about the rampant cheating regular team but I saw it and if you play here you will too. It's fields like this one that make people want to give up on the sport if their new or experienced. read more

I've been a regular customer for code red while reading past negative reviews I chose to remain unknown. While playing at code the pro shop employees are amazing and helpful when it. Comes to first encounters and helping ideas for guns and or gear (which is selected due to spacing) which I understand but after registration, code red can be very lackluster due the fact of from registration to the first game 830am to 1020 am there's nothing to do I pay 35 dollars to do nothing for nearly 2 hours then to get briefed by the refs before we go on to the field then get briefed again on the field, but wait you get briefed again when we switch sides when playing the same game. Not to mention that we played the same mode each game so it was a waste if time for me before Covid we use play a variety of games but since the new head ref the owner (randy) is gone down hill. Games take forever 10 minute calls turn into 30 minute calls not to mention the "food vendor" for code red cost more then the average taco stand vs if you go to bell the guy across from grub stop his food is cheaper and same quality with the same credentials which went stated in Randy's last comment regarding food vendors. I love code red and the owner (blonde hair lady in pro shop) is amazing just need the other owner to help. I just wish is was what it use to be. Cause this place sucks now sadly read more

Love the players and park itself. Unfortunately it takes way too long to get the game started. Sometimes we will only play five games at most a day sometimes it doesn't feel like you're getting your money's worth. Wrong VS Wrong = Regular customer wins!! Yea we will never go back to this park, Story is long but true and very bias towards its regular customer. Another player and I had a disagreement on the field. My side of the story: (always two sides) Player 1 ran around an ISO container shooting at another player in another direction. I caught him around the corner because he was focused on the other player. I did a double tap and both hit. He turned and returned the favor after he was out but kept playing as if he wasn't hit. At that time, I shot him again and he shot me again. (yes this is about to get childish) After the two of us shot each other about 15 times about 15 feet apart (again both wrong) I hit full auto. I was called out by the ref for using full auto. I said by bad I I was doing dirty to a dirty player. Again, both of us are in the wrong for our shenanigans. But what I didn't know was this was a regular player that is on a first name basis with the staff. I got called out and escorted off the field while the regular was able to continue play. While walking off the field I explained our tempers and egos got the best of us. we were both in wrong and I asked that whatever happens to me happens to him. When they were referring to him on a first name basis, I had a feeling I was already screwed. WELL... it ended up with the Blonde lady that works behind the counter telling me to GET THE FUCK OUT AND NEVER COME BACK!! This came after I tried to talk to the regular player and a little bickering. He had a smirk and said I accept your apology. I told him it wasn't a apology it was an our bad for being asses to each other. I really don't think he was expected to apologize to me. Again he is a regular that will be back next week. So on that note if you want to go to a place that takes sides with its regular players and has a staff that cusses and drops F bombs around your children this is your place to go. AGAIN: I admit half fault for the situation but to be harassed by the staff to apologize to a regular player for Hazing new customers is a complete joke. I usually wish people and businesses the best but when they have kids of all ages around and the staff is dropping F bombs???? Yea go somewhere else. Not the professional family friendly environment I would want any kid to be a part of I just counted 18 welts on my chest and arms from this regular. Just think that this could be your kid!?!?!? Crazy right? Go where they side on safety and family fun for all players. Not just their regulars. And think about this... He is still there allowed there to do this to your child. We were are ready to paintball, however when we arrived Action Star was closed. We walked in Code Red and Randy called Action Star letting the owner we were there. I informed the owner I spoke to his wife and was told to call back in 30 minutes to leave my deposit for July 7 and she never answered. I was told well we are close maybe we can airball. That was one of the best decision we made. The owner Randy and his wife along with two of the best referees stayed for an additional two hours to accommodate us and we had the best time ever. My first review wasnt a lie, but this time around I have to say the park has just fallen apart, I was shocked by a bunch of things, #1 team matching was total garbage, I have no problem with kids/rental folks, my gripe is that they gave us all of them, and they had all the good athletic and already organized team, we even had a kid with asthma and a funny walk, did that deter them from destroying these kids forcing them into a corner and even debating on leaving??? Nope. #2 the kids after being forced into a corner were yelled at by this obese stolen valor Latin dude screaming "stop being fucking pussys and MOVE UP!!!" the kids looked like they wanted to cry and go home. It was a sad moment for code red, guarantee anything those kids never played again. #3 the maps are never changing, they add a toilet here and rusty couch wherever and add some plywood but the fields never change, so ofcourse the people who think this is life or death go exactly where they always do and prefire the shit out of every window and crack and passing, cause why not? #4 P* are not regulated (guns that have a hose and tank connected to them) they ofcourse say they are but they aren't, I know for a fact they aren't, why you ask?? Cause the referee giggled about it with one of his friends and ofcourse the bbs weren't stinging they were cutting my teammates and denting our metal magazines, one kid had one lodged in his CHEEK. The park is overall very nice, but the owners aren't. They banned multiple teams from playing there for no reason, and banned people for wearing patches. Sam and Randy are overbearing and downright rude at some points. I was disappointed in this establishment upon my visit in december, but to Sam and Randy, I really hope you try to work things out with people without banning them the second they do anything bad. Once again, this place could be great, but lack of good leadership is where it falls short in a major way. To Sam and Randy- taking pics of peoples license plates and banning them for something one person did is a great way to lose long time players that come often. If stuff doesn't change, this field is gonna dry up. Catering towards new players is fine and all, but banning regulars for no reason makes Code Red Airsoft Park seem welcoming, but maybe for 1 visit. read more

So my 11 year old wanted to try airsoft, but I was feeling under the weather. I decided to drive out to code red to check it out. They have a full service shop, gear, and there was at least 100 people playing the whole time. My son was taken under the wings of the more experienced guys, super friendly and easy going made him feel right at home. A great place to hangout and sling some plastic with your friends! I've been to Code Red a few times already and I can say that every time is a great time. They have an amazing shop for all your needs and battery charging stations. The staging area is covered for those hot days as well as they have misters which always feels good after a good game. The refs are chill but they don't hold back when something comes up which is really good for cheaters and keeping the game safe. We had an awesome time at the fields. Check in was quick, staff was cool. Had bathrooms not just Porta potty's. Lunch was provided at decent prices. They had charging stations for free for my battery. That got them a star right there. Games were fun and field had great style. The last game of the day was whack tho! 45 min of slaughter, where they forced walk-ons to line up and run across a big open field into a firing squad of cocky mil-sim dudes that wouldn't call their hits and just unload on walk-on players. I would say skip that game and leave at three. Everyone that was a walk on player left angry and it almost caused a fight in parking lot. They need to change that quickly. read more

The airsofting experience is ultimately up to how good the refs are. Over the years I've seen the good, the bad, the great, and the recently the terrible refs. The time announcement for the games to start is never exact. They'll announce that a game will start in 10 minutes but after a time longer than 10 minutes has passed, they'll announce a 5 minute warning and after more than those 5 minutes have passed they'll announce a final call. Once everyone is finally on the field the refs will usually mess around and have fun with a few of the players while everyone else just stands and waits for the game to start. There is time needed for players to get ready in between games, for refs to balance the teams, and explain the game mode, but there is a lack of urgency by the refs. What ends up happening is you spend 3/4 of the day just waiting to play. One way to try to fix part of the time problem would be to just post a clock in the set up area that counts down the time until the next game. Another major point is the lack of awareness the refs have while games are played. They watch the game as a whole from suspended points, but don't actively look to call players out for cheating. When players notify refs about a player that is cheating, the refs don't move to get a better view of the suspected cheater and there's no repercussions for not calling your hits. This leads to plays getting upset at one another because of unchecked cheating. The refs focus is on diffusing players tempers rather than preventing instances from ever happening. The final key point is the refs unwillingness to break a large number of total players into separate games. Unless there's a private party, every single player will be playing in the same game. This is fine when there are not a lot of players, but when there's over a hundred players in total a huge gridlock occurs. In every game a natural stalemate is formed, forcing players is suicide run in any attempt to gain ground. This problem could easily be fixed by breaking people into separate games. read more

Well what to say about code red, well lets start with sanitation the restrooms were awful toilets overflowing and no toilet paper or soap to clean up with. The parking lot was full of trash and the cans were over flowing by 11 am. The staff was very unprofessional with cursing around kids as young as 10 while talking with them. The pro shop had little to offer so I would recommend on loading up before getting there. The chronos are only used at the beginning of the day and not once did I see any HPA or gbb get recert as the day went on and temps got hotter, this is for safety. I will not be going back to this place as it almost ruined the hobby for my self and my son. read more

This was my second time going since they moved last year. Was hoping for some improvement over last experience- wasn't bad but I thought they needed to improve some things. The good - very professional and organized. Plenty of refs and they actually ref and watch what is going on. Got 7 games in on a short day. When they say 10 minutes until next game they mean it. FPS and full auto strictly enforced. The bad - the fields are basically all the same, except for the one in the back, Terminus. Way too many people playing on one field at the same time. There is a 30-40 yard empty space that runs right down the middle of all the fields and there are lots of open areas. They use the "lives" system for re-spawns. As in, you have 2 re-spawns this game. These 3 things make playing here not as exciting as it should be. Small, open fields + too many people + limited number of lives = very little movement and lots of people exchanging BBs across 40 yards of open space and little to no movement or ability to flank. In short, run very well in a professional manner, but fields and game play are unexciting and unimaginative. Good for small kids and beginners who don't want to get overshot by speedsofters with polarstars. Would recommend for kids birthday parties for sure. read more

Upon first time playing at this park at the new location it is still easy to say that we had a good time but it is also easy to say that there is room for improvement. Since Code Red had to move they have yet to regain their peak organization at the new location. My team and I will look forward to a much more built up fighting environment in the future and would be glad to help. The staff is awesome and they keep games moving. For now we give it 3 stars because we want to see improvement to 5. Employees were highly unprofessional and used profanity. We bought a package for over $100 that was supposed to include everything and yet we missed a game because we didn't have red flags. We had to go back in and buy red flags for $2 a piece. Then, the magazine on my sons gun malfunctioned and broke off and we were charged another $10. The field was okay but the refs were not monitoring and people have their own high-powered guns that were being used on automatic when you're not supposed to. Very dangerous especially for a kid. I have played airsofting at a number of fields but this one is my favorite. The park moved from colton to perris but it did not stop me from going further from my resident field. At first, I had the mentality of the old code red maps as the same as the new 2.o maps. After a good amount of time, I got used to the new wide open, more technical maps and have grown to love them. My church had a private party and they all had a blast, plus on your birthday you can play for free. Only problems I have are the maps redemption and Blackhawk down aren't the best designed maps but improve as time goes on.
