WAY BETTER THAN HOLLYWOOD SPORTS. Hours here are way better. It doesn't close too early. You can even show up late night on Sunday and play until 9:45pm. That's perfect for me and my 9-5. The area is also air conditioned! Indoors! And no paintballers randomly shooting you as you walk by. It's a lot smaller but it's honestly all you need. The shop in the front is well stocked. The only thing it's missing is a cafeteria. That's what the vending machines are for I guess. But they are quick here, no waiting around for games to start. I came here for 3 hours and played ten x more games than I could ever anywhere else. Has reignited my interest in airsoft.

Great place for my son's birthday party. Aiyanna was the best. We had 12 kids and we did airsoft and it was an amazing time.

Ask the Community - Tac City Airsoft

Do you guys take cash or is it card only?

We accept both cash and credit.

Do you have to pay the entry fee every time theres a game for that day? Or is the entry fee one flat fee and you get to play the whole time during business hours? I ask because it says $10 for entry but then it also says there's different sessions.

Entry fee is for each session. There is only one session each day M-F and two sessions on weekends. $10 entry is for college students M-F. Unless you are a club member...silver members get $5 off every session, any day and Gold members are free… Read more

Are there also paintball areas or is it exclusively Airsoft?

Hello Kingston, thank you for your question. Here at Tac City we are strictly an Airsoft field, we do not provide space for paintball.

    Are tippmanns aloud?

So long as it falls within our field limit specifications, specifically all guns must fire under 350 FPS using .20g bbs to pass.… Read more

Do you buy used Airsoft guns?

    they dont

Do you need to have a ID to enter?

    i believe only to play

Do you accept credit cards such as discover?

    Sorry, we do not.

Are you able to use a umarex pistol with steel bbs?

Yes on the pistol so long as it shoots no more than 350 fps. No on the bbs. They need to be made of plastic and can weigh between .20 and .25 grams.

What if your gun has 10 more fps than the limit can you still play, I have a vfc gbb mp7a1 btw?

If you’re shooting 360 fps the gun isn’t allowed, you must shoot 350 fps or under. For HPA you must be semi-locked and shoot under 350 fps

Is there an fps limit for private parties too? and also are sound grenades allowed (bang 22 and thunder b's)

So yes they still have fps limit of 350 you may be able to sneak in like 20 more fps, they also allow sound grenades

    Do you fill CO2 tanks?

Co2 canisters are for sale in the pro shop. You can also buy all day air for $15 to refill your HPA air tank

    So they sell speedqb gear?

yes i am pretty sure they have some cqb guns and a cqb mask and tracer bbs

    Do they accept card?

    Yes

Can i bring my own ammo, and what size bbs for the rentals?

    Yes and 6mm

    Can you use a 400fps matrix m4?

The limit there is 350 fps

Can you bring outside food and is there an area where to eat when taking a break?

You can take whatever you want and yes there's the staging area

I just bought an hpa system does tac refil hpa tanks?

Yes 15$ for the entire day

Could I buy a helmet here for airsoft?

They sell dye full face mask and other head gear to protect your self but you don't need anything exept airsoft goggles or they won't let you play

    Do they offer military discount?

$10 every day, free on Sundays

I didn't even know what this place was. Thought it was some kind of a place to play video games, but it turns out it's a shooting range using Airsoft guns and plastic pellets. You shoot targets and can win prizes at the end depending on how many targets you knock down. It's a small place that can accommodate six players at a time. It's good for both kids and adults, although I think kids should be at least six years of age. They do have some foot stools for shorter kids. Price is based on which cartridge you purchase. Forgot to take photo of the price list but I think it ranged between $15-$40. I got the $20 deal which I think was for either 120 or 140 pellet cartridge. They have some goggles you can use if you are concerned about pellets bouncing back from the target, but we didn't notice any issues during our visit. I will probably just bring my own next time because I'm not sure how often this place cleans them. I will be back since my son really enjoyed his first experience here. I will probably join him next time.

Half of the targets don't fall over when you hit them, the staff doesn't help you make the guns work, they are completely uninterested UNTIL you try to reload bb's into the mag and THEN suddenly they're right there to tell you you can't do that. This was a one and done experience, compete rip off to begin with but it's compounded by the issues with the guns and the staff.

Photos are from their Instagram: @junglepark_montebello…read more I originally was going to give this business a 5-star, but that was when Şule was working there. Her customer service was excellent. So, we would come back every month with our boys. Anyways, since she has been gone this business has been hiring "family" and/or "friend" to do some part-time work. I have nothing against it, but they're terrible at customer service. The guy that was working on the afternoon of 11/13 was (no better word for it) a complete jackarse. My husband addressed him because the air soft gun that my 10 year old was using seemed to be malfunctioning and he had hit the same target in the middle multiple times. The target wouldn't budge. So, he addressed your staff to just come over and check it out. He approached us and aggressively with a rude tone asked, "Wot's the problem?" We told him the issue and all we wanted was for him to take a look at the air soft gun to check if it was alright. Instead, he proceeded by taking the loaded air soft gun beside him and started shooting down all the targets. Then proceeded to rudely say, "You need to shoot the targets." Now I don't care if he wants to be rude to my husband and me thinking maybe we want some sort of freebie, but that's not that case. He made my 10 year old feel terrible with his rude attitude and instead of wanting to play another round; he wanted to go straight home. So yes, my husband told your staff that he didn't need to be an arsehole because my kid took it personally. I did send their Instagram a message, but the owner don't seem to care about one complaint. We came to this business often enough BECAUSE my children enjoy the fact that they can participate because you don't have an age limit. They have fun at the store and they could care less about the prizes. When they have employees like that who made one of my kids feel like he sucked and didn't know what he was doing; he really shut down his confidence when he is progressively gets better every time we go to the store. Unless my kids really, really want to go; I'm done doing business with this store.

The store was also very organized and clean with lots of deals! It terms on hiking shoe selection they do have a decent amount of selection but most of the shoes are from the brand Denali which is exclusively sold at Big 5. Denali's are great if your looking for a budget option ~$30. They also had some Eddie Bauer & Hi Tec which are a good mid price ($40-$50). They were limited on the higher end options with only two pairs of Columbia ($70-$90). We ended up going with the the Colombia and my wife is thrilled because it's the most comfortable shoe. We both picked up some ecosox hiking socks and they are by far the most comfortable socks we've gotten! Which were recommended by the excellent staff. I'll admit that personally I've not been a big fan of Big 5 in the past because other stores have been cluttered, disorganized and picked over. But this store has changed my opinion! It seems to be excellently managed and I definitely will be looking here first the next time I need any sport equipment!
